Amazed by this mat! I am a personal trainer and PiYO instructor in training and was tired of burning through cheap mats. When asked what I wanted for my birthday I instantly knew I needed a Manduka mat. It has taken my training to another level. I can achieve poses and balances I'd not been able to because the grip is great. With a couple of sea salt baths, the slippery surface went away and I appreciate the lifetime warranty. However, beware the colors as they seem not to match what is offered online. I chose Lure which was a bright crimson red according to Manduka, but was sent a coral Pink mat. Pretty, but not "my vibe." I didn't want to disappoint my mom by sending it back but I wish I had the color I'd actually chosen. Maybe next time.

Absolutely love it! I had to air out for a few days and smell went away. I did not fall or slip as others have mentioned. I do go to Hot yoga and I don't sweat a lot - maybe that's why. Biggest thing I like is the thickness. I have used a Target cheap yoga mat for over a year and this is a big upgrade. I would highly recommend this mat.

This is a very nice mat. Sturdy. It's perfect for studios with hard floors or the "hot yoga" floor that feels a bit wiry, but for studios with carpeting this is almost too thick.

I love this mat. It has two sides with different grips. I sweat this definitely works for me.

Best mat on the market

Beautiful mat. Gorgeous color. Great grip and thickness. I know it will last a long because my other Manduka mat is 5-10 years old & still works great. I bought this one to have at home. The older one stays in my car.

Better than I had imagined. I had purchased two other brand of mats prior to buying the manduka mat. I wish I would had started with this mat! It is perfect, super grip, great cushion, no smell like some of the others. I would highly recommend.

I love the bright popping orange that looks like a ring of fire around my yogitoes mat towels! its quite perfect. ive had the PRO 6mm mat in the past and this is so much lighter and completely adequate cushion support for me personally with not so excellent knees. would definitely recommend this mat if you mostly practice yoga at a studio, its perfect for travel.

I received my new Manduka PROlite last week and used it for the first time last Thursday for my Hatha Yoga class. Hatha Yoga has slow movements and me being a 68 years old senior, I don't put a lot of moves on the mat. Unfortunately, I am giving the Manduka PROlite mat three stars because of the slipperiness. I am hoping that with move use, the slipperiness will go away. The cushion is fine for sitting positions.

Nice mat, nice color, very good grip, easy to clean and not too heavy. To check how it behaves in wet conditions, but for now I'm happy with my purchase

I was familiar with Manduka mats before, and now I finally have my own. Love how comfortable and secure you feel on them, the grip is just right, and you can focus on your exercise without compensating for a slippery or awkward-feeling padding. Would recommend to everyone and anyone.

Perfect balance performance, confort, size, weight. For the quality, we will see later :)

I am very happy with my new mat. It is the perfect thickness and the color is beautiful.

The mat is very good. During the first week, it feels a bit slippery, but after about a week, it no longer causes you to slip. Unfortunately, for the size of this mat, its difficult to find a matching bag or towel from Manduka.

Ive read many reviews before buying this yoga mat, and I have to say it feels just right. It's a robust mat built to last. It's slightly slippery, but it doesn't bother me much. I believe time will resolve this issue. Im 1,75cm and the long version is perfect for me. :)
