My favorite winter boots! The boots are stylish, and comfortable. The shaft is narrower than most boots, and first my thinner legs perfectly.

Warm, comfortable and functional for either casual or a bit more dressy. I love these boots!

This is my second pair, after my first (in grey) finally fell apart completely after 3 years of walking to work and countless miles of hiking and dancing at forest festivals. Yes.

I had these boots in grey last year and wore them almost daily. They are so comfortable! I wore them on a week long walking vacation in San Francisco and was so glad. They are warm and waterproof. They run a bit small - I normally wear a 6.5-7 and had to order up. The only negative is that the grey "leather" nicked on the toes and looks bad since it is black underneath and no way to fix - hoping black will be better.

This is an awesome boot. I own 2 pairs! Usual size is 8 in a narrow but these fit perfectly in size 38. I bought my first pair in Edinburgh and walked all over the city for 3 days in them - in total comfort - and they are warm. I think they are stylish - wear with skirts/leggings and skinny pants.

These are fabulous boots! I bought my first pair in Edinburgh and wore them for a week sightseeing. They were comfortable and warm. I liked them so much that I ordered a second pair in grey from Zappos. Usually I wear a size 8 in closed shoes. These boots fit perfectly in a size 38. My feet are on the narrow side - again they fit great! They feel good, keep me really warm and look good! These are true winners!

What a nice boot! I bought my first pair in Europe and walked for days on the cobblestone streets with no discomfort. They have a narrow foot and leg. I normally wear a 7 1/2 - 8 narrow and the size 38 fits perfectly. I like them so much that I just received my second pair in a different colour - at a fabulous sale price. Thank you Zappos!

If you have a skinny calf, these boots are great. The lining is very warm. They are actually very lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day.

Love these boots. I always buy high quality footwear and these boots are comfortable, flexible, and the warmest I have ever worn. The shipping was on time and the quality excellent. Highly recommend. The wool on the inside is not itchy at all as some others have commented.

I am very happy with these boots. They are soft, very comfortable, and fit like a glove. Not to mention they are warm too. Highly recommend. My only comment is to go with one size smaller than your usual.

I felt that these boots were very comfortable, however, I didn't like the style. The buttons on the side looked cheap, and the texture of the boot was disappointing.

I really love these after having them about one month. They were immediately comfortable. I haven't walked long distances in them, but I have worn them all day and my feet felt good. There's a scuff on one toe, but I didn't use a protectant, so maybe that would have prevented it. It scuffed black, so it's not very noticeable against the gray. I'm between an 8 and 8.5, tried both sizes, and the 8 was clearly the right fit. I haven't tried them with wool socks yet, but I think they'll be fine. My foot is on the wider side and these are perfect for me. The stretchy sides allow for jeans fitting under them well without them being too billowy over leggings. I highly recommend these boots!

I love these boots! I am always on the looking for a great boot for walking. On am on my feet most of the day. I highly recommend these. I plan to see if they are available in black and get a second pair.

I love these boots, and get tons of compliments. They are warm and super comfy. I did size up 1/2 size and they are perfect. Could wear them all day.

love this boot. My daughter bought them first and when i saw them I had to order too. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than i do in a boot. Size 6 fit but was a bit snug so I went with 6 1/2. I am only 5' so i have to watch the shaft in a boot. haven't worn them yet so I can't really comment on the comfort. W ore them around the house and they seem fine. I give it 5 stars

Very cute boot! But they run small, I wear a size 9 boot, and even the 42 (10-10.5) was a little snug.

I ordered these boots last year and I love them. I am compliment every time I wear them. they are very comfortable and warm. The wool lining is very warm so these are not boots you would wear with a dress in the summer.

Got these today. They are so stylish, first adventure with them to the store someone made a comment of how nice they were. They look really great.

These boots looked amazing and fit so comfortably right out of the box. I can walk all over the city in them and my feet feel great. I have gotten a ton of compliments on them and they go with everything. They were a bit tight around the calves when I first wore them with jeggings, but they stretched to fit. Love them!

I have a pair of these from several years ago and absolutely love them. They're no longer waterproof so I decided to get a new pair. Although I absolutely love the red color option, beware that the red is made of a far tougher material than the black. I have a wide calf/foot and usually do well in riekers, but I couldn't get the zipper up all the way on the red pair and when walking around in them they felt really stiff. I've kept the black pair I bought - they're made out of a much more forgiving material and are "standard awesome rieker"

Oddly, the calves were too tight on these despite my pretty slender legs. Had to return, otherwise they would have been a keeper. The toe box was plenty roomy and they felt like they'd be good for walking around the city. Super stylish and unique. Not your typical looking black boot!

I bought these because I was looking for a sneaker style casual boot. They are very comfortable and I love the wine color.There are a few things you should know. I wear a 8.5 or a 9 so I ordered the size 40. When I first put them on they felt a bit snug, but I thought that maybe that was because of the fleece lining. However, when I held the soles of the boots up to every other pair of shoes or boots I own they were at least 1/2 inch or more smaller. That convinced me to send them back and order a 41 ( even though I've never worn a 9.5 in my life) So...these do run small. The other thing is that these are not actually totally flat boots. That might be a plus or a minus depending on what you are looking for. There is a slight wedge built Into the design. You can feel it if you examine the boot...it's about 1" at the heel. Also, as many have noted, these are not leather and I feel the price is high with that taken into consideration. But, all that being said, I still love these boots.

I own a pair of these boots which I have had for a few years and I have written a review about them before. I ordered a new pair because I loved them so much (even though I am worried about the quality having deteriorated since I bought them). I ordered them in the same size that I own and was VERY surprised to find that I can barely get them on! They are not too small length wise or width wise but more around the lower ankle area of the leg and I could barely do them up as they are so tight on my calves! I also have normal calves and have never had any problem with doing any boot up so I am very surprised. I can't decide what to do as they have the right size foot. I wonder if they will stretch - but I worry maybe not enough! I am certain that my original boots were never this tight. I want to know if anyone else has had this issue and found they stretched?
