I'm amazed that neither Zappos nor any of the reviews here mention that these boots are NOT LEATHER! I'm so disappointed because they are cute, warm, comfortable and fit perfectly, but I really dislike fake leather :-). Thanks to Zappos's wonderful return policy, I'll probably return them, but what I really want is this exact boot, only in real leather!! If you don't care about leather/non-leather issues, you have slim calves, and you want a pair of warm and extremely stylish boots, these are great.

I got these boots in the grey color and get compliments on them all the time. I usually wear a 39 and had to get these in a 40 which is just perfect. I also found the wool lining the upper part of the boot to be a little itchy, I usually wear these with tights and I just got used to it. Very comfortable for walking.

These boots are great. They're a funky, fun style that go with anything. I love Riekers, and true to form these boots are great. I tend to wear a 7.5/38 wide, and these (like most Riekers) fit just fine even though they aren't "wide." I also have a hard time zipping up boots over my calves - but with a 15" diameter these were just fine. I did need to buy a pair of superfeet insoles for a bit of added arch support - but that's likely more me than anything. I like a lot of arch support. If you aren't normally bothered by shoes not having enough arch support then these will be fine. If you want more, these have a removable insole, so you can insert added options without a problem. Plus, these give great traction in snow.

This is the most comfortable boot I have ever worn (and I've worn plenty). Great in cold weather. Look great with leggings, tights , pants, skirts! I'm going to buy the black since I've already worn the brown to death! Must have!

Very stylish, comfortable and warm. My feet felt great even after a full day of sightseeing. Wool lining is very warm.

Excellent boots! Comfortable from the moment I put them on. I wear a 9.5, and the 41 fit just right, even with a variety of socks. Warm, but not stifling. The only thing that I had a problem with is that the top strap wouldn't close fully (though they zipped up fine). Apparently, I have thick calves! Anyway, I looped a black hairband around the button to extend the closure and problem solved. The lining was a little itchy at first, but hasn't bothered me since. Love these boots. Great product for the money!

I love that these boots are comfortable and stylish. Fit comfortably from first time on - no need to break in. I have wide feet and they fit comfortably.

These boots are unbelievably comfortable, and I really like the style. What I don't love at all is the wool lining. It's scratchy (even through thin socks). Maybe I'll be glad for the warmth later in the winter. I actually ordered them and returned them because of it, but then after trying several others re-ordered these because they were still the best fit. I have a narrow/regular calf but have wide feet.

These are the best boots I've ever owned. Super comfortable and they look just plain awesome. The fleece lining makes them really toasty. I never want to take them off!

I am so excited for the cold weather to hit the Hudson Valley! I am usually a 40 and got the 41. Roomy so they don't activate my Morton's Neuroma enough for a smartwool sock and for the warmth to spread in the boot. They look so cool on, very mod. Will look great with skinny jeans. They may be a little itchy on the calves and they aren't very cushioned on the foot pad, but I have tried a lot of these boots and found none were like a "sneaker" but these come close.

The as great boots for the price. The fit is great for those with small calves. The new wools is warm but unfortunately, too itchy. I would love to have kept them. Thanks to Zappos for great service.

I received the boots today, bought them in both colors. I like the gray ones more, but both are very cute. I am a size 6.5, but bought the 7-7.5 because they are lined with wool, and I figured I will need room. They feel a little roomy, but if you plan on wearing cotton socks they will be just right. Already tried them on with jeans and leggings; both look and feel super cute. I bought other boots from Rieker in size 6.5, but the lining is thin, therefore I would recommend these in half a size bigger, but since they come in 7-7.5, they work too. Better arch support and sole flexibility than Uggs, for example, which are usually quite flat. Will see how they work in snow! Compared the price with other online stores, can buy them a little cheaper, but it's not worth it due to refund and return policy.

I love this boot. So comfortable and stylish, too. I sometimes can wear a 41 but am a US 10. I tried the 41's and they were too small. Too bad because I love these!

I love these boots! I was a little worried about the shaft being too tall (since I'm only 4'11"), but they are the exact height I was looking for. The color is gorgeous and they are super warm. Oh yeah, and these are amazingly comfortable. I can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear these!

Love! Right out of the box. I like Rieker for their warmth, comfort, and cuteness. I have cold feet and a slight preference for function over fashion. It's worth the money if your primary mode of transportation is walking or if you just like to walk! The fit is good, I have short, wide feet with a high arch (that makes the top of my foot high). The calf is just right with nice stretch, and I'm on the thicker side of average calf size. These I could wear out of the box, except that the weather isn't cold enough yet!

These boots were my first purchase from Rieker and I love them! The first day that I wore them I walked over 4 miles in the City and my feet didn't hurt nor did they ever get cold! I wear these boots all the time over Jeans or Leggings and considering buying another boot from Rieker!

These boots are great for cold winter days as they are lined with a sheep wool lining. They are very comfortable and fit snugly against the calf. I can easily wear them with a skirt and with pants.

These boots are even more gorgeous in person. They are totally cozy on the inside!! Love them!! And I ordered them at 5pm and they were delivered to my doorstep at 2pm the next day. Zappos Rocks!!

These are great boots! Stylish and comfortable. Great with skinny jeans, but forget any other type of jeans since they are a bit tight on my calves, which are a pretty normal size, but they loosen up. Love the wool lining! Great for rainy and cold days!

Comfortable, but very slouchy around the ankles. Look a bit like moon boots in person, but fit well around the calves.

These boots are so good looking, but the lining is thick and itchy. Unbearably itchy. I'm truly bummed! I'm actually considering cutting out the liner and keeping them because they're such a great color and style. The lining is bulky, they might even fit and look better without it. Or I'll return them and keep looking for my dream grey boot.

These are so cute and comfy! I get compliments every time I have them on. But the material they are made of cracks and peels! They were worn 3 times when the material started to crack and peel in the "ankle bend" area so I sent them back. I wanted to try them again just in case it was just the first pair was defective, but the second pair is already doing the same thing. I'm so sad because I love these boots!

These boots are straight up awesome! I wish to wear them every day. Comfortable and very stylish. The square toe means my toes are never cramped and the wool lining makes for cozy feet, even without socks. Two things about them tho...if your calf is thicker than about 15", you will have some issues zipping them up. And if you have high arches, I would recommend an arch support insert. (only reason I don't rate these as 5 stars in comfort).

I tried on a lot of boots before these. I have narrow feet and very thin calves. All the other boots I tried on had too much room in the ankles and calves. The heels slipped off, etc. The style of these boots was not exactly I was looking for (although I love the style now that I've been wearing them), but the fit is really perfect everywhere. The boots look very high quality, too. I am rating them narrower than marked because they are not sold as narrow per se.

I bought these boots in October and it is now April. I love These boots. My requirements were comfort, aesthetics, and durability and these passed with flying colors! I wore them almost everyday for at least 4 months and on and off for after that. They kept my feet quite warm, and my feet are always cold. They are hardly marked up at all. The marks they did get are small and almost look as if they add to the look of the shoe. I received many compliments on them as well. I generally wore them with skinny leg jeans, but a few times with a skirt and leggings. They looked great with both. I will definitely buy from Rieker again.
