If you have feet problems then this is a shoe for you. This is my second pair of Birkies. Great for plantar fasciitis.

These are exactly what I wanted. The only thing is that I needed a smaller size than my American size (choose one size smaller). They showed up the day after I ordered them!

I haven't worn Birks for years and decided I wanted to get another pair. The shoes are great and a better price than if I went to a Birkenstock store to buy them. Plus when I ordered the first pair I didn't like the color I picked and I needed one size bigger than I thought. Zappos was great, McKenzie in customer service helped me with my order and not only did I get another pair of shoes in my size and color, I appreciated the free shipping and handling and how fast they came to my house. I will order another pair of shoes from Zappos; they are great.

These are the classic Birkenstock look, and I see them on all kinds of people, of all ages. They are a great introduction to Birkenstocks: they have the classic footbed, the high-quality suede upper and like all Birkenstocks, the reparable outsole. I still have my first pair from 12 years ago, a little battered, but more and more comfortable every time I put them on. At this point, they kind of feel like putting on slippers! Any Birkenstock without a back strap will require a breaking-in period; I wouldn't wear them for more than an hour or two at a time, at first. Once your toes get used to the motion of gripping the toebar, though, and the footbed starts to conform to your foot, you will never want to put on another pair of shoes. Be sure that you have at least 1/4" to 1/2" all around your foot. I was fitted in Germany, and they sized me up from what I was wearing after I was fitted in a U.S. shop. They should look a little too big for you, and not have your toes sliding off the edge of the shoe, or your heel right up against the heel cup. They are great for all kinds of foot conditions, like bunions, heel spurs, etc., or for someone who just likes comfort. Like I said, they are a classic.

Had my last pair for 12 years. Time for a new pair and I'm very happy. Great sandal! True fit. Birk's rock.

Why would anyone go from store to store, waste fuel and time, when you can avoid all that with a company like Zappos in the comfort of your home.

These sandals are well known for being wonderful. I buy my boyfriend a new pair for his birthday every year because he wears them for work in the engine room a boat and gets them very dirty. They are super durable though, we replace them just because they start to look pretty trashy. The color I got him this year was the Arizona smooth leather instead of suede...took a day to break in and he is so happy. I've had my pair for 3 years. Still the best!

Once I realized the equivalency of European widths to US widths, these sandals are absolutely perfect. Having never owned a pair of Birkenstocks before, I originally ordered what I thought was my size. I am a 10.5 to 11 with medium width in US sizing. I ordered a pair of 42 medium Arizona\'s. Way too big\/wide. Sent them back and reordered same style in 41 Narrow. Bingo! I live in rural West Virginia with limited shopping options. Zappos makes it all so easy and their customer service is stellar!

I have been wearing the Birkenstock Arizona since 1981. They feel phenomenal! Can't live (or walk) without them!

Birkies are the best! Love this particular style -- always comfortable and ready to wear right out of the box. Perfect fit every time! Looks great with shorts, jeans or skirts.

Comfortable. The foot bed is very nice. Worth the extra few bucks. So long flip-flops.

These are not only nice looking sandals but are very comfortable and you can wear them all day without your feet hurting.

Simply the most comfortable sandal you will ever wear. As with most new shoes/sandals there is a short break-in period. Once they begin to conform to your feet you won't want to take them off!

Great shoes. Great comfort even when walking and on your feet all day. There is definitely a short break-in period for this leather; had a slight irritation from the top band near my ankle. Just a couple of wears and they were good to go. Wore them on vacation with lots of walking and no problems.

Shoes are great and as expected. You know these guys at Zappos have a business model that preaches "exceed the customer's expectations every chance you get" and they do. Things arrive faster than you expect. Returns are as simple as putting items back in the box they arrived in and slapping on a label. They set the standard for internet commerce. Excellent job.

What a great sandal! Birkenstock is of course one of the best. None of the local stores had the color I wanted so I tried some on and found my exact size then ordered on Zappos. Fits great and feels great. Sandals did need a week or so to break them in.

This is my third pair of the exact same Birkenstocks that I'm sure I'll yet again wear holes through until I get my fourth pair. Great shoes, I've been wearing them basically every day for the past 8 years.

I purchased these for my grandson, he wears them all the time. Good quality. I purchased the same for my grand daughter when she was in high school, she's still wearing them and is a senior in college now.

It is hard for me to find shoes in a narrow size. I found it, got it, wearing it and am loving it. My original pair was stolen on a vacation.

Still the same shoe, after all these years. I love it, the fit and comfort haven't changed. I like the color. They aren't chic, but they work with just about any clothing.

Aviator ginger is not really gray, it is a light gray, green, and taupe. Aviator might be a good term, since the color is sort of light military color. I'm only mentioning that because, when I did a search for gray shoes, this one came up. And I bought. And, I'm happy I did, but these are not gray.

Not as snug as it used to be. The workmanship appears rougher than my previous pairs.

I thought they were pretty comfortable, but just a little "clunky" for my taste (seeing as they're unisex). I didn't think they'd match well if I were to wear a skirt or dress, so I returned them for a different style. However, my new pair are the same color; I'm a fan of the reddish-purple.

Excellent support that helps while I recover from plantar fasciitis. Feels good to put them on after work. The leather strap stretches so I had to make an additional hole to keep my foot from wiggling around. Fine other than that!
