I have one other pair in white/silver, this color white/black is smaller than white/silver. I also have an old pair in white/black it's also smaller than white/silver. I ware thin socks and it's OK. I put a lot of miles on these shoes walking. Not as nice as older pair.I still ware the worn white and silver for working around the ranch. I noticed the old pair feel a lot better than the new ones.

Nike has always run short and narrow for me, and the Air Monarch is no exception. I have narrow feet, so the narrow part is no problem, but I have to order a 15 for a 14 foot. Also, the heel is a bit high for my taste, and is taking some getting used to.

Great shoe for the price, but makes a lot of noise in the sole of the shoe while walking. Great service from Zappos as always! 5 stars for Zappos.

Zappos is truly above all the rest! Your customer service and ease of shopping is the best out there! I bought shoes for my husband that he didn't wear for over a year until we went on a 3 week cruise vacation. They squeaked every time he took a step which became quite embarrassing. A call to Zappos and he had a new pair the very next day!

These are the worst shoes ever! They squeak! I have tried three pairs and they all make noise! I will never ever order these again!

The reviews all said they were true to size I wear an 8 in all my other shoes so I ordered an 8. I had to return and get a 9. The service was good! I really like the shoes!

I love these shoes. I know people complain about the squeak. For all of you, pull up the inside sole near the back and dump some powder in there and you will be squeak free. The powder will stop the squeak. You may have to do it again in 6 months but this does work. Great comfortable shoes and now stealthy!

I have used these shoes for basketball and working out. They are comfortable (not the best that Nike offers) and are very stable shoes. They are a good product for the price.

These shoes are fine. Nothing special, but they get my hubby through an eight-hour retail shift. They are noisy to walk in, but are otherwise pretty comfortable.

Just put them on. Look good, seem comfortable. Attractive shoe.

1st time customer, thought that I'd give Zappos a try because I was too busy at the time to go to stores. I used to wear the Air Monarchs years ago but figured that I'd give New Balance (model 409) a try (I was told that they were the last American made shoes). The 1st pair was great, but the quality kept decreasing- tread separation with the 2nd pair, tread separation and and lack of breathability with the 3rd. So I decided to go back to Nike. When the shoes first arrived several months ago, I tried them on. They were rather tight (narrow). I wore them around the house for a few days. They stretched a bit and now fit just right. They are the lightest shoes that I've ever owned. And they are pretty comfortable, even on mile long walks. I'm not sure why there are comments about the squeaking, never been an issue for me on smooth floors.

This is my first Zappos order, but I had heard good things. This is the third pair of air monarchs I've owned, so I pretty much knew what I was getting. My foot runs a bit wide, so I ordered the extra wide. Turns out they were too wide,so I decided to return them. I went through the return process but didn't get around to shipping them until several days later. To my surprise, the next day, less than 24 hours later, I had a new pair of shoes! Zappos is great! As far as the shoes go, if you like a shoe that wears a bit wide and holds up very well, I would recommend these. I've worn them daily for over a year and the only thing worn out is the soles. Everything else is in good shape and I will still wear them as beat around work shoes.

Nike monarch good value comfort fashion people notice these shoes. This is my second pair of the shoes you might notice lots of excellent reviews all good except for people say the shoes squeak and it's true. After a short while they do squeak when you walk. Outside or at the gym you don't notice it but walk around in the quiet house squeak squeak. Otherwise would give them 5 stars.

This is my second pair. I use them to play Pickleball and I play almost every day. To make them easier on my feet with all of the pounding from the court, I replace the insoles with Dr. Scholls Active Series ones. The only negative is the cheap insoles that come with the shoes. Other than that, they hold up very well for some punishing use. I will order them again.

The shoes are extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, they are not as durable. I wear these all day every day. I barely got 7-8 months before they started squeaking and 10-11 months before the upper started separating from the sole. I'm buying another pair based on comfort, style (of the all black ones), and price.

This shoe is superior and has replaced the NB 928 that I have been buying for years. Runs a half size small and is very comfortable.

All of my previous shoes from Nike and New Balance were 10½D (and they still fit perfectly). I tried these in a 10½ and they were too small, so I ordered them in an 11. That was better, but still too narrow in the toes. I cannot go up another half size or I will be sliding front to back. Other than that, they look great!

I was very pleased with the quick service and free shipping from dealing with Zappos. Got my shoes at lowest price of any other site or store.

So far so good. This is my third set of Monarchs. The first was great the second squeaked like all the other complaints. This is OK. What's up Nike? Did you forget about quality control?

Great shoe, very comfortable, great support, can wear it all day with no problems whatsoever. Not the most stylish shoe, and it makes a little noise when you walk, I hope the noise doesn't grow, just got the shoe and it's not bad, read other reviews that said it gets noisy, let's hope not. Overall pleased so, I bought the other two color schemes from Zappos to alternate with.

I am not a sneaker guy; however, my wife bought me the first pair of these. I have reordered 2 times. These are worn every day, everywhere. They have held up very well. Sand, long walks, snow, working on the boat, etc. I cannot speak to athletic qualities, but the shoe is a quality sneaker.

Husband loves these! He has medium to wide toes and a narrow heel, and these shoes in Wide width accommodate his toes yet do not slip off the heel. Support also seems to be good. He tried the regular width, but they are somewhat narrow/pointy in the toe box and did mot work.

The shoe is light but thick. The fit is good. There is ample padding all around, and underneath. The souls are a little stiff and don't bend, which is why it's a walking shoe, not a running shoe. If you want to push off the ball of your foot, the shoe will pull away from your heel/achilles tendon. I would've preferred the View III, but Nike doesn't make men's View III in white. Overall the shoe is acceptable.

I'm praying for a miracle with this latest purchase from Zappos! I have owned numerous pairs of this exact shoe over the last 10-12 years and invariably the shoe sole begins to squeak and make popping noises within about a year. Take note when you purchase these of the date stamped on the tongue of the shoe. This latest pair had a date stamp that was already 1 year ago. The date stamp according to Nike tells when the shoe was manufactured and they WILL NOT TAKE BACK ANY SHOE THAT IS OVER 2 YEARS OLD ACCORDING TO THAT STAMP. Because I bought these from Zappos I am praying that their one year return policy is for real. If I hear even the slightest noise from the soles of these shoes I'm sending them back ASAP. I even kept the box to return them. Honestly Nike doesn't really seem to care about the problem because these shoes have consistently had this issue for a LONG time. Buyer Beware!
