This was my first order from Zappos. I found the shoes online but had questions regarding size and color so called them. The rep who helped me was wonderful and the shoes arrived quickly. They run small so I ordered a larger size and the color was as advertised. I love the shoes and my first experience with Zappos will definitely not be my last!

These shoes are so comfortable, and they are adorable on. I was worried that they would be a little masculine. but I wear them with my favorite black cords, and I get all sorts of compliments.

These shoes are cute and very comfortable. I was looking for something very casual like a Clarks Wallabee only different. They fit the bill. They do run small so I ordered them a half size larger than I usually do. I wear a 9, have the 9.5s on right now and they fit like a glove. But I am not wearing socks. I think I will keep them since they are so soft inside, they may get roomier with wear.

I absolutely love Born shoes. This is my 7th pair of Born shoes. What I love about Born is that there is no break in period, from the moment you put them on they are comfortable and feel like they have always been your shoes. These Melissa's are no different! Also the construction of a Born shoe is quality and they stand behind any pair for any reason. You must get these and they look so cute with a jeans!

Cute shoe. I bought this to replace a similar pair of Borns that I wore out. These run a 1/2 size smaller than my original shoe. As a result, I'm not sure how comfortable they are and Zappos does not have the next size up - sadness.

These are very comfortable shoes. This is the second pair of Born shoes that I own. For both pairs after trying them I wondered if I should have ordered a half size larger. I have worn these a lot and they are comfortable yet the padding of the soul is thick especially at the toe. My hope is that they will stretch.

This is a great shoe. I like that it's sporty and comfortable, but doesn't look like an athletic shoe. The only reason I can't give it a full 5 stars across the board is that there's plenty of toe room horizontally, but less so vertically. I'm hoping they will stretch just a bit so my toes aren't so squashed from above.

I ordered the size at the top of my range and still found them very snug. The heel, especially, gave me blisters the first day. But I'm committed to breaking them in because they're so cool!

I own this shoe in two colors. One I bought last year and it is all leather (no suede) and a little more supple. The black is stiffer in the toe box area. The shoe is true to size. Very comfortable. I stand on concrete all day and the padding in the footbed is great.

As with other reviewers I found the "toe box" to be too shallow and the fit to be at least a half size small. These squished my toes! Not sure if my toes are particularly unique in shape but the rest of the shoe was wonderful. Well made, super cute, comfortable. Luckily, my mother has flatter (?) toes than I, so she enjoyed the benefit of my disappointment.

These suckers are really, really comfortable--they are already broken-in, and speaking as a woman who is on her feet all day, wearing these is like walking on a cloud. I was initially worried about other reviewers' claims that there is not much height in the toe box; although I do think it's a little snug, I didn't find it to be enough of a problem for me to return the shoes. But I docked them a star for it because when you pay a lot for a quality pair of shoes, you should get your money's worth.

The strangest thing ever about these shoes... only the right foot is no good. My right shoe in this pair blisters and rubs like no shoe I have ever had. But the left does not. I know I walk a little tilted, but I've never had this problem with any other shoe. I've had them for months and they've still not broken-in.

Nice, modern style, but way too small in the toe box. I have narrow feet, so this was pretty surprising. Also, ordered an 11 but it fit like a 10!

This shoe is a great, casual looking shoe, but not exactly great for the work-casual look I was going for. The footbed is soft, but the toe box is very short from top to bottom. My toenails touched the top of the shoe, even without the inserts I use. There was no way an insert or any thick socks would fit in this shoe.

Very cute, but I had to return them immediately because they were too small. I normally take an 8 or 8.5, sometimes and 8W. I've never, ever had to buy a size 9, but that's what I'm going to have to do with these shoes, at least. Possibly a 9.5. So these run small. The toebox observation is also correct- the leather over it is very stiff so the shallowness of it can be very problematic. I'm hoping that sizing up will take care of this issue as well because I really want these shoes!

Zappos is fantastic. I ordered at 7 PM yesterday and they arrived today. Unfortunately the metal eyelet pulled out of the shoe the first time I tied the shoe lace. I'm pretty unhappy with Born. These are not exactly cheap shoes. They should be made better. Obviously I'll return them but I'm 20 miles from a UPS Store so it's a real inconvenience for me. The previous reviewer is correct. The toe box is very shallow. I wear heavy socks in winter and I'm not sure these will work. However, they are very cute and are comfortable with thin socks.

I purchased these in the brown and was beside myself waiting to try them on. Born has been my favorite brand because comfort always comes first, and these shoes did not fit the bill. I returned them because the toe box was too shallow, if that makes sense. The top of the shoe was rubbing against the top of my toes. Weird complaint, but it was enough for me to return them. And though I would rate it "moderate arch support" I would prefer to say "weak arch support" for a sneaker. I am still in search of a sneaker-looking fun shoe.

Cute shoes, but the side touches my ankle and, with the low toe space, I can't put a lift in. Really disappointed to be sending them back.

I have never owned more comfortable shoes! It feels like I am walking on a pillow. I know of nothing that I would change about them!

These are by far the best shoes I have ever had. I have had a lot of foot problems (bunionectomy, hammer toe, etc.) and these shoes are probably the only shoes I can wear all day without any problems.

Legendary Born quality in a cute shoe - my new everyday/everywhere shoe. I wore my last pair of Borns, a hiker, for years before the foot bed wore out - and they still looked new. The Born foot bed provides leg support like no other shoe I've tried. After a day of shopping, my feet are tired, but my legs just aren't. They do run small - I ordered a half size larger for a perfect fit.

Very comfy. Toe box is low, which required me to go up a half size. This sole is flexible and soft.

I love how these shoes look, but they run very narrow and small. I usually wear a 8 1/2 or a 9 at most. I had to buy a 10!

Not a fan. First, the shoes I got were uneven. It was strange. I could look at the back of them and see it wasn't my imagination. I kept hoping they would break in, but they never did. My right shoe just fits funny. I should have returned them. But I kept thinking it would break in. Doh. Then I got them wet. Seriously. They're shoes. Water should not kill shoes. With these, it did. The eyelets all rusted. Now there are little red areas all around the eyelets and on the laces. These, of course, are new laces. Because the old laces only lasted a month. Seriously. A month. I get the feeling these shoes are made to be bought and left in the closet. Because wearing them just isn't a very viable option.

I LOVE these shoes! I needed a good walking, sensible shoe to wear with shorts or jeans. I have a wide foot so I needed something that would accommodate my foot. The padding on the inside is unbelievable!
