Love these boots! I am consistently getting compliments on them. I have big calves and I have a hard time finding wide calf boots that fit but these are perfect - I can wear my jeans tucked into these or pull them over. Also, the wedge is so comfortable because it's not that high - but it looks high. Loved them so much I bought them in black and grey too, but the taupe goes with everything.

Love these boots! They are true to size and pretty comfortable. I have wide feet and they were totally fine. I also have pretty muscular calves and have a hard time finding tall boots that fit my calves but these were no problem. I get so many compliments on them whenever I wear them!

These are freaking awesome. Look great with everything, comfortable, fit over jeans, overall the best.

Usually wear a 7.5 - 8 depending on brand. Went with the 8 & it was perfect. Wore them dancing 1st night and they were so comfortable! Love the wedge it's the perfect height without being too tall. Looked great with my dress and will look great with jeans. Bought the brown- rich color, not cheap looking at all.

They just arrived in the mail. So happy that my calves fit in them, I have big ones and boots shopping is usually a nightmare! Anyway, I can't say on the long run, but they seem really comfortable. So happy.

I bought these boots because of the raves here regarding them being good for wide calves. I have at least 17 inch calves and these boots were the first pair I have ever found that accommodate my calves as well as my jeans! I am very pleased with my purchase.

Love 'em! The Detective boots are so comfortable and I love the slouch look. I've received a ton of compliments when I wear them and I absolutely love the heel because it makes me feel tall! I'm only 5'4'' so I love the extra height it gives me. I really recommend this boot to anyone for dressy, casual, or just for fun occasions because it fits all categories. I can't wait to get another pair.

Great boot! The wedge makes these boots very easy to walk in all day which is a huge plus to their stylish look. I usually wear a 6.5 and so that is what I ordered...the fit is perfect.

Gorgeous boot! Super stylish and comfortable. The wedge heel is very comfortable for walking or standing extended periods. The heel height is perfect for me too (I am already six foot tall). I purchased them in two colors - both are very versatile and look great dressed up or down, the blue looks great with jeans! I receive endless compliments when I wear these boots. They do run a bit large, I usually take a 9.5 and was able to fit into a 9 (although the 9.5 is okay with thicker socks). And contrary to what some other reviewers indicated, they do not make your ankles look bigger - they are a slouch boot and simply live up to that style.

I adore these boots! They are cute over & under your jeans, with tights or bare skin, my boots steal the show every time I wear them. They have such a sweet little wedge, that I can dance in these shoes all night long! If you don't have them, please tell me why?

I love these boots and I get complimented on them everywhere I go. They are great - they look great and they feel great. I can stand at my job for 5-6 hours without wanting to cut my feet off. They are by far the best boots I've owned. I highly recommend them.

I love this boot. I originally ordered the brown and loved them so much I ordered the black. It is cute and casual and absolutely perfect over jeans. If you have skinny calves they may be a bit wide for you in the leg. They fit true to size (maybe just slightly big) for me. I'm normally a 6 (occasionally a 6.5) and it fits perfectly even with a sock.
