I read reviews of this boot on Piperlime; most were really good. It is fantastic! More flattering than you'd think, and from what I can tell wearing them around my home (it's just not cool enough in Atlanta yet) they are comfy thanks to the wedge heel. I've got athletic calves - read: big - and they fit around them, which is no small feat in the world of boots. They are a little darker than they appear in the image, but I like the color better in person. The perfect on trend boot for fall. Buy it!

I've received a lot of compliments on this shoe and I have to say - I agree. It's a very stylish shoe. The heel isn't very high, so it's comfortable to walk in. On a day when I know I'll be busy on my feet at work - I wear these shoes. Some things to watch out for: They are made a little large. I ordered a 6 1/2 - which is what I normally wear - and they are a little roomier than I would like. Not enough for me to send them back, but if I had to do it again I'd order a size down. Also, my legs don't hold up the top of the boots very well. My legs are average in size, not skinny. However, it doesn't take away from the look, as the look is "slouchy" already. I recommend this stylish shoe.

Very cute boots, and a true taupe. I have narrow feet and these boots rub on the side bone of my foot, but they're so cute I just wear socks over my tights and it's fine. Could use more padding overall and especially at the ball of the foot. The wedge gives you the look of a heel with more support. If you're going to be on your feet all day maybe this is not the best choice but they work for me and I'm glad I bought them!

I was really excited about getting these boots. But when I got them, the suede had markings on it and there was a scratch on the left boot on the toe. I wasn't happy with the color of the brown either. Anyways, they are very comfortable and I might try another color and hope the suede is not as beaten up.

These boots are very cute with skinny jeans, leggings and tights (I have the black boots). They are a little loose around the leg, but they're slouchy, so it looks cute and like it's supposed to look that way. I usually have a hard time finding boots that are fitted enough around the calf/leg, but these look fine a little big. I usually wear an 8 in closed toe shoes, and a 7.5 in boots. I ordered the 7.5 first, and felt like my feet and legs were swimming in them. Ordered a 7, and they fit perfectly. I said that the width is true to size, because once I went down to a 7, they felt narrow enough. No cushion or padding in the foot bed, so these are definitely better going out boots than everyday boots, but very cute! As always, Zappos sent them amazingly fast and offered excellent customer service. I ordered these boots at 6:30pm, and had them at my house (400mi away) the next day at 12:30pm. Wow! Thanks Zappos!

Love these. Have them in both brown and black. Great go-to everyday boot. Enough of a heel to keep me happy (I'm only 5'2" and don't like flats) but still be as comfortable as a flat, if not more so. Can easily spend a whole day on my feet, heavy walking, in them.

At first I was very bummed about the huge shaft on these boots. They were so cute but made for a large calf. A little altering to hold them up and they are great boots. They also ran a half size large. Great boot for the price.

Love these beautiful boots! Sizing was perfect, look is great pull-on versus side zipper is a huge plus. One problem until they get broken in: one toe knuckle on each foot got really torn up and for me the one next to pinkie toe, moleskin, foot petal or simple Band-aid will prevent this until you break the boots in a little.

Super cute boots, but not for small calves like mine. Wanted so dearly to keep them. May have been able to get away with wearing them with skinny jeans only, but really wanted to be able to wear them with skirts and dresses also.

These are so cute. I wish they would have worked out. The style is very "leg warmer"-esque. The black suede makes them feel winter-y. Unfortunately, the width of the shaft was just too big. I would have kept these if they were not so loose. I don't mind having some wiggle room, especially when wearing boots over jeans, but when there is so much room that your legs looks like they are swimming in them, even when your jeans are tucked in, then they are a little too big. I don't have small calves either. I would say mine are average to larger-than-average at 15-15.5". These are measured at 16" which I think is a pretty conservative measurement. I ordered a size 10 [my usual size] so perhaps they increase the width of the shaft the larger the shoe size?

Love these boots! My only complaint is that they are too baggy. They slouch way too much. I wish there was a tie/that would keep it from falling to the side so much.

I have a wide foot with a bunion so it is hard to find comfortable and stylish heels. These are wide enough and very comfortable!

I really like the look of these shoes. I got a lot of compliments on them when I wore them to work for the first time with a pair of black skinny jeans. As far as size goes, I wear an 8.5 and these were a tad bit bigger than true to size, so I just wore a thick sock. Perfect. They're not exactly the most comfortable shoes I own, but for a whole day at the office, they were good.

Totally disappointed. I ordered the chocolate brown and there was a scratch on the left boot. They were a size 8, so I exchanged them for another pair in a different color in a size 8 since they fit fine. Well I just got my boots in the taupe and they fit totally different than the chocolate boots did. Now the 8 feels super small and my toes are crunched up in the front. I am totally bummed.

Cute boots but unfortunately there is no zipper on this boot, so I couldn't even get my foot in the boot.

Beautiful chocolate suede color and true to size. However, the arch support was lacking & the sole was very thin. I purchased a grey pair as well. In that pair of boots, the label was raised up enough to irritate the bottom of my foot. Unfortunately, I will be returning both pair of boots.

Liked the style. True to size, but was a bit wide. The arch was lower than I would like in the arch support. The main issue I had was that the fabric on one boot didn\'t match the other in regards to the length. It just didn\'t have enough fabric. I tried to adjust it to match but that only made another issue: the height of the boot became about 2 inches shorter. So, I will be returning this pair of boots.

Love these boots! They're super cute and really comfortable. The only problem: The first night I was wearing them the velcro snap was not attached and the slouch slipped down and I was walking on the fabric all night, now they are ruined.

Loved them online but read the negative reviews so I thought I would give them a shot anyway. Well the reviews were TRUE; this boot does not look the same in person, it sags and does not look cute at all. I'm sending them back. Zappos sent them super fast 36 hrs from ordering to delivery!
