I bought these as a rustic, sturdy, and edgy staple while traveling to Morocco for 4 months.... best purchase! They look great and feel great!

First off, if you are reading this because you are in doubt whether to spend this much money on a pair of boots- DO IT!!! I have been on the lookout for a perfect pair of combat shoes that look fierce and yet are feminine enough. If you are looking for the same item- look no further. I was wowed when I opened my box since they look much better than I expected. The quality is incredible, the leather is so nice and soft and it hugs your feet perfectly. If you have a normal width feet and you are in between sizes, I would say go 0.5 size up. I ordered both 7.5 and 8 since I'm always switching back and forth between those 2 numbers and 7.5 was very snug in my toe area and I almost got immediate blisters. The 8, on the other side, was comfortable straight ahead, there is some heel slippage but nothing a good set of band aids or sports tape cannot fix and help for the first few wears. I would say do not count on them stretching length-wise because they sturdiness is what makes them durable. I can tell that these are going to last me for YEARS. And they are never gonna go out of style! Worth. Every. Penny.

I bought thees boots month these a month ago, was looking for combat boots and these are the perfect pair. Sometimes with Frye, I find it takes a while to wear in the leather, but these were comfortable right away. The fit is a little roomie for me - but I wanted to be able to wear think socks with them so, again they are perfect.

I first bought the Veronica Combat boot over three years ago. I'm a shoe minimalist, and literally wore that pair every single day for three years. For two of those years, I was living overseas in the Middle East, so they went with me on hiking trips in the deserts of Jordan and the mountains of Lebanon, in addition to daily life walking up and down the hills of Amman and avoiding traffic in Beirut. I wore them so hard that the leather molded to my feet and, sadly, I eventually even wore holes in them. I recently bought a brand new pair as replacements. Now that I'm back in the US and bartending full time, I continue to wear these boots every single day, even during doubles when I'm on my feet for 12+ hours. They are the most comfortable shoes I've owned and more than worth the cost.

I bought black and they are perfect with everything...jeans, skirts...walking on all terrain! Oh yeah! They will be mine for years! Thank you, Frye!!

I bought these boots in preparation for fall, and they look absolutely phenomenal with skinny jeans! Pulling them out of the package, I could already feel that they were extremely well made and of upmost quality. I am someone who is pretty harsh on my shoes as well, but after wearing them for a few months they still look brand new! I ordered a size 9 because many reviews advised to size up due to a snug fit. Typically, I wear size 8.5 in shoes, but the 9 fits perfectly for me with my fuzzy socks. Just a warning - these shoes do take some time to break in. Straight out of the box I wore them to school, and trust me, walking across campus was not fun (especially in warmer weather). Wear them for shorter distances at first until you break them in, and then they are perfect!

I bought these boots to replace much loved high quality all-leather combat boots purchased in 1997. (Yes, I wore my previous boots 21 years, replacing the leather soles once.). These are perfect! I'm a 9.5 and went with a size 10 in order to comfortably wear thicker wool socks with them. Hopefully, I won't regret that decision. The narrower fit should prevent them from becoming sloppy.

Just trying these out for the first time today. Uncomfortable at first but coming along nicely to be more comfortable.The white is a different color for me but I like it - I think they will look even better once they get a bit banged up. I have other Frye boots and I know they wear forever. Love Fryes!

I bought these a few weeks ago and love them! I ordered the "whiskey" brown color and they're so comfortable. They look great with dresses and pants. I'll definitely wear these a lot this fall and winter :)

Bought then and wore them to a concert the day I received them. I absolutely libe the look, but they do run a little small. My size is usually 11 and it's the largest made by Frye, so I have to stretch them out, but that's ok.

I wasn't sure how these would fit - when I purchased them. But let me just say I am in love with these boots..... The leather is very distressed. Very vintage looking ! Also very well made.

I just got these yesterday and know I'm keeping them. They are very comfortable and I like the stonewash. The stonewash color is more of a dark slate than a black, although I haven't conditioned them yet and that usually darkens them a bit. I wanted a pair that looked like they were weathered and worn and these are exactly what I was looking for. I will probably purchase this style in another color. The fit is very flattering and they don't make my foot look too large and clunky. I'm usually a 7 in shoes but for Frye boots I always buy a 7.50 and they always fit perfectly.

I am a baby boomer hipster who loves a distinctive look. These boots deliver! I can see dressing them up or down. Isn't white the new black? They were comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 10 Medium but like a roomy toe area. The Veronica Combat does not pinch or crowd my toes. I would say they fit 'true to size' 10 M
