I have been searching for a very long time for a pair of combat boots that I would not only love but, would last a long time. I finally decided to get these Frye Veronica Boots. I am so happy with my decision, so happy that I feel that I have been wearing them a little bit too much. The fit is perfect, they look stylish, and my feet feel pretty warm in them as well. If anyone is contemplating whether or not to get these I say, get them!

I love these boots. Very comfortable wearing them on my feet at work all day. I take a 5.5 in other Frye boots and the 5.5 was very small in these boots so I sized up to a 6 and they are good.

I've worn these boots almost every day since I received them about a month ago. Unlike a lot of other reviewers, they fit almost perfectly with a pair of socks (I'm 7.5 but ordered 8) right away. The camel brown color does darken if you apply leather conditioner, but I really want these boots to last so I'll condition them anyway. The construction is phenomenal, and the shoes feel heavy and sturdy. At work I stand for long periods, but don't walk around much, and these boots remain comfortable through the day. However, I twice attempted a 30 minute walk in these on relatively flat terrain with socks, and I got blisters both times! I've concluded that for walking, these boots take some getting used to. Of course, they're still more comfortable than I'd expect! Probably the best bet?....getting a pair that really fits you, even if you have to exchange them a few times.

These boots are amazing! I having been wearing them everyday since I received them! I ordered a 1/2 size up based on reading the other reviews and they were perfect! There was enough room for me to wear thick socks if I wanted to. They were a little stiff the first time I wore them, but after that they molded to my feet and were fine. I have not had an issues with the inside lining starting to peel like some others have had. This is my first pair of Frye boots and I can't wait to get another! These are defiantley boots that will last for many years!

I love these boots! I'm so glad I bought them early in the season. They are already my favorite boots for this Fall/Winter. I followed the advice of previous reviews and bought them bigger than my normal size. I usually wear a 6. I bought these in a 6 1/2. They were a little snug to get on the first time but because they are made with good quality leather they gave a little and now fit perfectly.

These boots are really beautiful and I can't believe I waited so long to treat myself to them. Just like all Frye boots they make any outfit look classy and finished. Frye took the combat boot and made it girly. Gorgeous leather as in all Frye boots, quality craftsmanship, and a pair of boots I will have forever because there isn't anything I do that's going to beat these babies down. Get some.

I love these boots! They are exactly what I'd hope they'd be and, boy, was I not disappointed. The leather is very soft and beautiful. They are comfortable and very fashionable. Definitely worth every penny!

I read the reviews over & over - I was perplexed by sizing. So I ordered the 7.5 & 8. I am always a 7.5. They did fit, but were a little snug so since I had the 8 I tried them on...they did fit better. A little more room in the toe box area. Some reviewers mentioned the issue with being made in Mexico - these are from Mexico not the US. Hopefully they will stand up. They are great looking boots - exactly as pictured.

Love these boots but the need breaking in. One boot is a little tight across the front of my foot and it took about there wears for me to break them in. They look great. I would suggest that if you have a medium width foot to consider how your foot acts in other "medium" shoes and if your foot is wide not to get these boots

Love these boots! Very comfortable. Classic, yet very in style. I will get a lot of wear from these. The color is beautiful. I wear them jeans, leggings, and pants. They will look cute with skirts too. These are worth the price. Really well made, comfortable, and great looking!

Super edgy, super sweet boots. Not the most comfy boots by bar but solid and well made. I am a straight 6 but ordered a 6.5 and they fit perfectly.

Very stylish, shorter height boot. Same hardy construction and richly colored leather one comes to expect from Frye. True to size -- I ordered my usual USA 10/EU 40, and it had just the right amount of length left between my great-toe and the end of the boot. Moderate arch support; nicely cupped heel area. Easy lace-up system. Heal and Sole material and construction add distinctive detail to overall look of shoe. VERY nice bootie.

These boots are amazing. The first time I put them on they were a bit stiff and I was worried that they would not work out, but after walking around a bit they softened some and they are super comfortable. There was no real breaking in period.

This is my 3rd pair of Frye boots, I love the quality and cannot bring myself to purchase any other brand now. This pair did take 3-4 wears to break in but now I can wear them to work 8+ hours on my feet and they're great! Seriously worth every penny! I've only worn mine unlaced as shown.

Although this is a beautiful well made boot, it's quite masculine. Even more than I had expected. They fit me well, I wear a 9 1/2. I had my eye on another pair of Frye's for months but went out on a limb with these. I regret not going with the first pair I had my eye on because I purchased the other pair and these are going back!

I love these boots! They are super cool yet nice enough to wear to my (casual) workplace. I feel like a bad-ass stomping around in these things. I'm between a 7.5 and 8, and I sized up based on previous reviews which seems like a good choice. I just got them, so they're still a little stiff but they're pretty comfy. Super happy Fryes makes lace-ups, I think I'll have these for a while.

I'm a bit of a boot fanatic and a Frye fan and have more than a few pairs to my name! I've been looking at the Veronica Combat for some time now and recently bought a pair in Camel Vintage Leather. They are GORGEOUS!!! I am very particular about boots and demand extremely high quality and comfort. Having read the reviews that said these boots fit a half size small, I went ahead and ordered a 9M. I am ALWAYS an 8.5M in Frye boots but the 9M fit me absolutely perfectly, so what they say about these boots fitting a half size small is spot on. Absolutely top quality construction, solid, great grippy sole, gorgeous soft leather, and just overall a wonderful and comfortable boot. Did I say the Camel Vintage Leather is GORGEOUS?!! Buy these boots - you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Love these boots! I usually wear an 8, but found I needed an 8.5 to accomodate thick winter socks with this boot. The footbed is really comfortable, and the leather is very high quality. These are going to last you years. The reviewer who mentions the leather peeling up inside is right, but it's no big deal: just glue it down. These are very stiff at the beginning and will take some time to break in. I recommend wearing thick socks and maybe a heel cushion for the first month, but it's worth it. I get compliments all the time.

I don't know if I'll ever get any other kind of boot. The tag that comes on them out of the box reads "With proper care your Frye boots could last forever" and judging from the sturdy construction and high quality leather, I really believe them. They definitely needed some breaking in, but after one week of blisters they fit perfectly. There is a bit of lacing and unlacing that goes on, but I personally prefer this to the look and feel of boots with zippers. Also, they can be a little slippery before you scuff up the sole on the heel, so be careful if you live somewhere icy. Overall exactly the boot I had been searching for.

I got these for wearing around work and school for the winter. At first when I got them I was skeptical because of how inflexible the leather was, but as soon as I put them on and walked around for a day they felt amazing. I didn't have any foot pain during the break-in period which usually happens with leather boots. Overall they are one of my favorite pairs of shoes and totally worth the money.
