If only the heel did not slip so much! This is a very comfortable shoe, except that the heel slips up and down and rubs the back of my heel. It looks like it is made for someone thicker.

Surprisingly, this shoe looks pretty nice. A good, crinkled leather and styling features which stop if from looking clunky. I have very high arches and would prefer a bit more arch support, but what's there is fine. The lining is a burgundy leather, and removable insole is also burgundy leather lined. Because I need a 1/8 full foot lift in one shoe only, I'm limited to the type of shoes I can wear and these have worked wonderfully. I've worn them almost daily since purchasing about 4 months ago.

Love these shoes! Not the prettiest shoe on the block but probably the most comfortable. Contrary to what Zappos recommends, the size 39 fit my 8.5 feet perfectly. Had to return the 40 since it was huge. Thankfully, Zappos has an excellent return policy.

Love these shoes. Very comfortable, bought them for work and they are great. Highly recommend any Seibel shoe.

Style: Crinkle leather, lug-styled sole and slightly contrasting stitching make the classic lace-up "sensible shoe" into something my design-oriented husband declared "Kind of hip." Comfort: Wore them all day on Day 1. Walking the dog? Walking around the office? Running for the bus? All good. Fit: Runs small. Ordered a 39 instead of my more usual 38 and had to send it back for a 40, which fits very well. Lace-up style allows adjustments for the heel-life orthotic in one shoe.

I bought these shoes more for comfort than style however, I will say they do work for me with my business clothes. They are an extremely comfortable shoe and the quality of the shoe is excellent in terms of craftmanship.

This is a wonderful lightweight comfortable shoe. I have some "foot issues" but this doesn't irritate any of them. I can be on my feet all day without pain.

These shoes are butter soft and so comfortable. I have lots of foot problems but wore these over 8 hours the first time with no problem whatsoever.

I love these shoes! They are lightweight but supportive, versatile, and very comfortable right from the start. They look great with jeans or more tailored pants, and will be perfect for travel, particularly for trips where I'll be walking on a variety of surfaces, from city sidewalks to country lanes. I plan to replace the laces with slightly longer ones, and I use the green Super Feet inserts in these shoes, as I do with almost all of my footwear. As always, I appreciate Zappos' customer service and fast shipping!

This shoe is, as usual, of finest quality as are all the J.Seibel shoes I have purchased. It is lightweight, well constructed, fits perfectly (I wear a 7 1/2 W) and looks funky.

Love these shoes! I was looking for something with good arch support and they are wonderful. I wear them all day and my feet don't hurt at all.

I'm not a big fan of traditional walking type of shoes but they are a necessity at times! Love this shoe for the comfort and it's a little funky (a good thing) thanks to the patterned leather. I wore them for miles and miles of walking in DC this past weekend as a test drive for Paris later this month. They are definitely coming with! Perfect shoe for me, highly recommend.

Oh, these are great. I love the Oxford trend this Fall and these Seibels are the ultimate in trendy good looks. The shoe appears a little worn from the beginning which is cool. The color is a gorgeous mahogany and apart from an evening dress, I can't think of what you could not wear them with (maybe even the evening dress if you're looking to be funky!). They are the ultimate in comfort too. Just great and lovely shoes!

These are my go to shoes when I need comfort and style. I wear insoles for plantar fasciitis and these shoes offer great support, especially if you are on your feet all day. They also look great with jeans.

Very comfortable shoe. I love the color, and the shoe complements many outfits that I wear. Even though the shoes have moderate arch support, I can wear them all day without discomfort. I would recommend this brand and this particular shoe.

Fun shoe. Great fit. Light weight, very comfortable with no break in needed. Great for walking, active all day on your feet life style, and cute!

For me, this shoe is extremely comfortable. Since my balance is not good, my feet feel stable and supported - an important consideration. The leather lining enhances its comfort factor. It's a very nice shoe and I expect it will continue to provide me with a safe and comfortable walking experience.

This shoe is exactly what I was looking for. I like that the toe-box is roomy. My medium width feet have room-to-breathe. Also, the heel does not slip. Thanks Zappos, for the incredibly fast shipping.

I am very pleased with how these look and fit. I did add my own orthopedic insert for better arch support because I have very high arches. One thing that does bother me is it stains my large toe's nail black. It does this despite the fact that I am wearing socks. I now put fingernail polish on my toenails before I wear the shoes to prevent this staining. Other than that I really like the shoes.

These shoes are very comfortable. They are not as shiny in reality as they seem on the picture, but they are a bit on the shiny side for my taste. They are also a bit on the mature, but they go well with jeans and are good for slightly formal occasions. Some of the reviews said that they are larger than marked, but they feel true to size for me. I usually wear 36 and 36 is good.

I ordered these shoes in brown and the leather is gorgeous. What a good-looking Oxford! Wish they worked for me. But the Euro 41 sizing (the largest offered) is just a bit too short for my 10.5-size foot, and even with that, I had some heel slippage. Bah! Gorgeous shoe, just not for me.

Good looking, well-made shoe. The description did not mention a removable insole but it does come out. Fortunate for me since I needed the orthotic to fill the volume. This is a very generously sized shoe. Seibel sizing seems to vary from style to style. The heel cup was great for my narrower (but not narrow) heel but the overall feel of the shoe is very big for my medium-size foot. It's not that it's overly long,such that a half size down would have fit; it was just wide feeling all over. Even with my orthotic, the shoe never felt like it hugged and supported my foot. Too bad. The sole is very pliant and could have been cushier. Disappointing.

The shoe is better looking in person than online and they seem to be very cushioned. They appear a tad masculine online - not so much in person, which was welcomed. Sadly, one the shoes really pushed my foot inward for an odd fit. They'll be going back.

Quality of leather and stitching is excellent. Shoe is very comfortable, but I thought it felt big. I have narrow heels and they slipped a bit there. The big problem is that the sole makes a horrible squeak on hardwood or linoleum floors. Not sure if this would fade as shoe wears, but it would drive me crazy, so I am sending these back. PS, unlike some reviews indicated, these do not go well with skirts, unless you're going for a pilgrim look. They're quite mannish, but would be OK with trousers.

This shoe is prettier than it looks and classy not clunky. But the leather on the top was quite stiff and broke very uncomfortable across the top of the foot. Too bad.
