These shoes fit great and are more comfortable after every wearing. They look great and are quiet on stone or wood floors.

I just bought a pair yesterday, and wore them all day. They are extremely comfortable. This is my fifth pair of johnson Murphy in 10 years. They are great shoes.

Great cushioning. Feel very comfortable, doesn't really need any break in.

The shoe looks great! You can wear them with suits or jeans. The weatherproof leather is a little tight and takes some time to break in than other soft leather shoes.

I am about to order my second pair. These are the best looking, most comfortable, light weight shoes I have ever owned. I have been in sales for most of my life and a nice shoe that stays looking nice is important to me but comfort is crucial. If you like what you see do not even hesitate because I'm convinced you will love them and I know for a fact that nobody is easier to deal with than Zappos if for some reason you are absolutley satisfied.

Bought these as a birthday gift for my husband who hates to spend more than $75 for a pair of shoes, but he has been complaining constantly about his feet aching. He was initially upset I spent so much not them, but after wearing them for one day, he can't stop talking about how much he loves them! They look very professional, are easy to get on and off through security, and are well made. These are a keeper for sure!

We found this to be a little narrower, however the quality of grain, etc were consistent with other products of Johnson and Murphy.

Great comfortable shoe. Been wearing J&Ms for a couple years now and these are the most comfortable ones yet. Easy break in. Seems breathable. Two small cons. 1-They don't get a great shine so no the best 'high end' business/boardroom shoe for the traveler. 2-The seam where the heel pad meets the forefoot pad peels up a bit. Noticeable but not uncomfortable.

First of all, these may be the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I am on my feet all day long in my industry and honestly these are amazing. Something about the removable insole J&M puts in their shoes, in particular this one, is a work of magic. I also own the Suffolk Venetian, and while super comfortable, these are slightly better. Now here comes the bad stuff, and I wish more than anything these were not the case: The outside sole of the shoe is almost wood like (it is the best way to describe it) and has chipped and splintered revealing the tan color underneath. Horrible choice of materials. Also, the heavenly insole I talked about lasted only two months. Its leather covering has peeled up and off and just did not last. I wear them every other day and work 5-6 days a week so I put a lot of miles on them, but for the price, I expected better quality. The outside leather still looks good. The Suffolk Venetian on the other hand has a different outsole and is a much better material, I highly recommend those.

I've been wearing this shoe for a few weeks now and it's the worst dress shoe I've purchased. It tries to be a shoe for every foot (narrow and wide) with the insert. I have a narrow foot and it stretched out over a few weeks and simply does not fit well anymore. Started out great, but it's just too big a shoe for me. I compared the size to other shoes I own and it's much larger by trying to accommodate a wide foot. You get what you pay for. Spend a bit more and get a shoe that fits your foot instead of a one shoe fits all brand.

I had been wearing the Hush Puppies Lunar II for the past ten years or so, replacing them with the same thing when they'd wear out. My black shoes had now lasted about 8 years, but they were seriously falling apart, so it was time for another pair. I started looking around at what else was out there, and these caught my eye. They look a little dressier than the Hush Puppies, which is good for wearing them to client meetings. I started walking a few miles a day in them as well just to get them broken in a little, but even never having worn them before, they were already pretty comfortable for walking right out of the box, which I have never experienced with a shoe before. I wore them over the weekend in an absolute downpour, and while the umbrella saved my shirt, my lower pant legs were soaked through. However, these shoes fit snugly enough and the waterproofing worked well enough that my socks inside of my shoes were totally dry. Amazing! Overall, a good upgrade from the Hush Puppies, worth the extra fifty dollars.

Wonderful shoe. Good for everyday work wear.

I just ordered a 4th pair of these for my husband. He has 2 black pair and one brown ..... still wears them. These are his favorite "go to" show for work and /or with jeans . Can be dressed up or down . He can still wear the 3 pairs he has now I have bought him over the last 3 years , but I wanted to surprise him with a new "fresh" pair and he can save his older ones for "rainy" days:):) I highly recommend this shoe. You won't be disappointed with this shoe AND with the awesome customer service from Zappos !

Classic shoes that husband loves. We just buy new ones when the old ones are done. Great Zappos experience - pair arrived and stitching broke almost immediately so we used exchange and got new pair even before I had time to drop the old pair off at UPS!

Good fit, Extra Wide feels good even with my very wide feet.

Bought these for my husband and the shoe is handsome and he finds it very comfortable and the fit is good for his problematic feet.

This is a quality made shoe and worth the price. They were comfortable to wear, right out of the box. They are very easy to get into compared to other slip ons I have tried.

I bought a pair of these about 3½ years ago and wear them almost daily to work and on weekends to church. They are the most expensive dress shoes that I have ever owned. They have been worth every penny. After 3 years of regular wear, the stitching is still in perfect condition and the soles only have minimum wear. The only part wearing out is the cushioning within the bottom of the shoe. An excellent shoe, especially if you have to travel frequently and need a shoe that slips on and off easily at the airport security checkpoint. I highly recommend them!

Love these shoes! Wish they came in brown as well. I would buy another pair. These shoes fit great, but they do look bigger and heavier than most dress shoes I have owned.

I bought these shoes close to a month ago. I'm very happy with them. I wear them every day to work and they are very comfortable. I've had similar shoes by Johnston Murphy and I've been happy with them all.
