I picked up a pair of these about a year and a half or so ago. They are incredibly comfortable and fit very well. The brown is a nice rich red tone, which I like. However, scratches and scuffs on the leather show up very strongly, and after a year of daily wear, the leather sole on the side cracked. The (rubber) sole on the outside is fine, but this means whenever it rains or I step in even the slightest bit of water, my sock gets wet. I'm going to try to super glue it and see if that works. I did eventually have to pull the cushion on the inside out and replace it with a (Dr. Scholl's) insole, but that's to be expected from pretty much any shoe.

I left a prior review on how I couldn't even get my foot in due to them being too narrow. This isn't actually the case. The top of my feet are too tall to fit into the shoe. Strange, I know. I haven't had this issue before with other loafers or slip-ons, and of course this is controlled via lacing for traditional shoes. I thought I would clarify the actual issue for the benefit of shoppers reading the reviews. These aren't tall enough, at least for my feet.

I purchase shoes from Zappos regularly. I wear a normal width, but couldn't even get my foot into these. I can't understand why no one has mentioned how narrow these are. My first return. :-(

The material seems very good, but the shoe itself turned out to be a bit wider/chunkier than I had hoped. It is also a little on the heavy side, but it's comfortable to walk in and feels like it would hold up well. The reddish-brownish color is very attractive.

I have a wide EEE foot and usually wear a size 10 1/2 or 11. I initially ordered a size 10 1/2 found it loose and that a size 10 fit best. I did need to remove the optional footbed to get the width to be comfortable, but I need EEE.

Most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn - out of the box. Seriously, these feel like running shoes. J/M has won me over with the comfort of their dress shoes. More comfortable than Bostonian, Florsheim, even Cole Haan. On my feet all day long and these are like walking on a cloud. True to size at Size 12. Downsides are that, with the additional padding/comfort, the shoes look a little 'less-dressy', and they're a bit heavier. The trade-off for comfort is well worth it. Buy these.
