Simply put these are great winter boots. Warm, comfy, relatively light and not so glompy that I can't drive with them on. Living in Alaska I have already worn them comfortably at -30 F. Being lazy I added a pair of Speed Laces to eliminate the tying of the laces. I normally wear a 10.5, the 11 that I purchased fits just right.

I've only had these for a day, but I've already been through fresh snow and very low temperatures with them. My verdict? They are awesome! I ordered the black (which looks to be out of stock at the time of my review) and they're nice and monotone. I usually wear a 9.5 in men's (11 in women's) but because they don't make half sizes, and especially because I wanted room for thick socks, I got size 10. They fit perfectly and there's no tightness even with liner socks inside of thick wool socks. And I don't have narrow feet. I walked around my apartment when I got them to ensure they fit well with both thin and thick socks, and just ended up leaving them on for the following half hour or so before I left home. When I was outside later in 8 degrees and snow I was very glad I chose them. My feet were nice and cozy and the traction gave me a secure grip on even hard compacted snow. They're making me look forward to the rest of this Wisconsin winter! Also, Zappos never ceases to amaze me. I ordered these boots early one morning and got them the next day - just in time for more snow!

I bought a pair of Itasca boots that lasted all of 3 weeks so I decided to step up a notch and buy Kamik. I live close to the ocean and my concern is to keep my feet dry and warm and these boots do the job. I like them and recommend them, no break-in needed. If there is a disappointment it is that these are made in China.

These are great boots! They are a good value for the money. They are well constructed and keep my feet dry and warm. They are very comfortable to wear. The only minor issue I would point to are the laces and how they fit into the top hook. They can sometimes be a a little tricky to hook and sometimes do not do so easily without a little extra tugging. Other than that, I am very pleased with these boots and would highly recommend them.

Great boots! Warm - which most aren't, they are just water repellent. I bought these for my husband for winters in Chicago. This is what you need for shoveling snow or walking around town after a snow storm! He said they are really comfortable too.

Very narrow! Was well insulated, but far to narrow for a typical man's foot or for a wide woman's foot. Didn't want to order up a size since the length was ok. But it was far too tight.

I just got these boots and I'm very happy I did. The midwest was hit very hard this winter and it's been snowing nonstop. I am a lady but I tend to buy men snow boots because I have slightly wider feet. Men tend to have wider feet than women. I usually wear 8 in snow boots and I ordered this boot in size men size 7. They fit perfect and are very comfy. Anyway, these boot are very warm and great in the snow. I like the traction. I am always afraid of falling. So far so good these boots have been great. So if they are any woman with wider feet consider getting a man's boot.

We're on a budget right now so we chose these based on price and my husband loves them! They are very warm, sturdy and waterproof for shoveling outside.

I bought these for my partner. He's a 12.5 usually, but likes to wear big socks in the cold and has always preferred size 13 in boots-- these fit fine. It was -11 degrees F windchill yesterday, and he reported that these kept him warm. Like many other reviewers have pointed out: these are stiff, and I could see how they'd rub and cause blisters on ankles and shins if you're not tall enough. Partner is 6'2" so I don't think this will be an issue, but he hasn't worn them for extended periods of time. He *did* say that he felt a bit clumsy in them because of the rigidity, but his other boots had literally come apart and these work. I very much hope that they'll last a long time; the construction seemed typical of most China-made items, which doesn't give me confidence (Zappos: you need to list in WHAT COUNTRY the boots are made, please), but time will tell. Rated only 3 stars for comfort because I expect there'd be an issue if he had to walk a bit to and from the bus/subway for a commute, fortunately, these are used for short jaunts through slushy snow, and for that they're good.

First time reviewer here. So far, I love these boots. They are very comfortable and have kept my feet dry in both rain and snow. I only have a couple of minor issues. First, the top 'eyelets' are actually 'C' shaped 'hooks' around which you wrap the laces (as opposed to eyelets that you thread the lace through). The problem is that the opening in these 'C' shaped hooks is smaller than the diameter of the laces and it is difficult to get the laces to slip into them. It appears that the act of forcing the laces into these hooks is damaging the laces a little. You may be able to pry these hooks open a little more but I have not tried. This is a minor issue and may only affect the pair I got. The other issue is that these do not come in half sizes. I have always (since being a teenager) worn size 10 1/2. I chose to get the size 11. When wearing a pair of boot socks, they fit fine. There is a very small amount of play but not noticeable in everyday wear. So, in conclusion, with a couple of minor issues, these boots have been great so far. I will just have to see how they hold up over the long haul. Regards.

Zappos suggested a size 10 when I knew that I am a 9 or 9.5 (sometimes 8.5 some Converse). Against my better judgement, I ordered the 10 .. my feet were swimming. These are TRUE TO SIZE (unless you like your boots bigger than your foot). That's what you get when you listen to Ai and human reviews. Go with your gut, 9 is 9 - not 10. Other than that, solid boots!

Bought my son a pair last winter, he says they're a great-comfortable and warm. My husband needed a new pair of winter boots and ordered these as well. He said they've been keeping his feet warm and dry this winter so far. They both recommend the Kamik brand.

These are great. Fit perfectly. Warm. A little clunky, but nothing I can’t live with. Great value.

The size was as they stated but the size is all they have going for them, it was like strapping boards to my feet. There's no give in these boot, there as hard as a rock & when you walk they push into the back of your legs because even the upper part of the boots don't flex either. I might be old school but you should get more for your money than these uncomfortable boots. I cleaned them up after wearing them for a few hours and donated them.

They are blocky, but they were a great boot for our ski trip. We were about 3 feet in the snow, and even went dog sledding in Colorado. Definitely would recommend..

I needed winter boots and planned to spend $150 - $200. The boots are a fantastic value. They are warm, comfortable, and handle ice and snow well. Following another reviewer’s recommendation, I bought speed laces for the boots. Very easy to slip on and off with these laces. I will definitely purchase these again in the future.

Purchased these for my 10-year old son who has grown out of kid sizes. He says these are the best fitting boots and keep his feet warm and dry.

Got these for my husband for Christmas. He usually wears an 8.5 or 9 Medium width; based on the other reviews and the probability of wearing thick socks with the boots, I ordered the 9. My husband said the fit is perfect and that they're very comfortable. We haven't had snow yet, so I can't comment on their performance, but I'm confident that they'll be warm and dry from what the other commenters have said and the looks of the workmanship. Great value!

Very comfortable. I was outside in the snow all day and they kept my feet warm and dry.

I bought these for my 14 year old son in a size 9, and they are super comfortable! They are very warm and have a gel-like interior. When he grows out of them, Mom will be rocking these boots in the winter.

These are really nice winter boots. I orginally bought them for part of my Halloween costume but I cannot wait to use them this winter. They are very comfortable, well made and they appear to be very durable. For the price, I do not think I could have found better all purpose boots. I should be able to clean them with a waterhose too...

My son tried the shoes on and he liked it, but have not tried in snow yet.
