My FAVORITE boots through out this winter! perfectly balanced, great tread, lined for warmth and waterproof--great for this constantly out in the wet, pacific nw momma. :)

Love these boots. I needed a pair of boots to wear with jeans that weren't wedges or clunky snow boots. These are perfect. They are warm and the short shaft fits perfectly with jeans that are straight and they look super cute and go great in the snow.

I actually just go this, and haven't properly walked in them. However, they are amazing. They look more stylish once you put them on, compared to out of the box. I have wide feet, and they were definitely at least half a size bigger. I may have been able to go down a full size but, I stopped at going down half a size, partly out of laziness to order another size - even though Zappos is lightening fast.

I wear a true size 12, so I ordered a 12 and they were WAY too big. I felt they were a full size too big so I ordered an 11 and they fit just right. I have somewhat of a narrow foot so that's why I wrote "narrower than marked" (usually boots are too wide for my foot but these are great). Absolutely a beautiful boot all around and goes great with jeans, a dress, anything really. I have the "stone oiled suede" color and I love them. Well worth the money. Comfortable too.

I normally wear a size 10.5 -- I ordered these in size 10 and they fit great. I love the comfort of these boots. They are a little rugged looking, but the picture is a good indication of that. Look great with skinny or boot cut jeans. They are pricey, but look to be extremely well made and I expect they will last.

La Canadienne boots are my favorite. This is my third pair and I can always count on the very good quality at good prices. And thank you to Zappos for making buying shoes so easy!

This boot is fabulous! I saw them on a woman at the market and stopped her to find out about them. She said she had had them for a few years and they were her very favorite shoe. I started having a deja vu, and realized I went through this same exact scenario with the same woman a year ago! Last year, I waited too long, could not find my size, and forgot about them. This year, I jumped on it. I did order one-half size smaller as recommended, and that turned out to be perfect. So fantastic-looking with a pair of boot-cut jeans, so comfy, the best!

I love the way these boots look, however for the price I was really hoping that they would be more comfortable. The insoles are hard. They do give support so I am hoping to wear them at work and not be in pain after a few hours, I’m a stylist so I’m on my feet all day and have been looking for stylish COMFORTABLE boots.

These are true to size and can be worn with a thicker sock. Great quality. I returned because they arrived with white scuffs on the top of the shoes, side and heel. This is probably from being in transit / not packed correctly in the box. I just couldn't justify the price ro take the risk or exchange only to potentially have the same experience. Zappos is great about returns - thank you.

Gorgeous boot and very comfortable, but a bit masculine looking for me. I found Blondo to be just as good quality and comfort, for a quater of the price!

The boots seem true to size, if slightly large. They are nearly wide enough to accommodate my wide feet with bunion. They are very good-looking, waterproof, and easy to get on and off. I walk a lot on pavement, at least 3 miles a day, and I"ll wear these until Wisconsin winter kicks in. I've tried on other styles of La Canadienne, and these are the only ones that I find comfortable.

I loved everything about this boot but the toe area is just too round...had to send back.

This is my second pair of these boots and I'm thrilled that they now have a side zipper. My only issue with the last pair's fit was that it was a struggle to get them on. The outside of those boots looked great but the inside lining ripped and then the heel collapsed inwards. Anyway, that's why I bought a new pair. The fit on this feels more narrow. I'm giving it a few weeks of short-term use in hopes that it will stretch out a little.

I really wanted to love these but the shape is just blah, and the color really not what you see on the picture. Stone Oil is not brown at all but a pale shade of gray. Too light for me for Fall/ Winter wear. I usually wear 7.5, occasionally 8 for sneakers, but I am a constant 7 in La Canadienne, with room for thicker socks. Great workmanship though, comfy right out of the box, and with a lining that will keep you warm. Just don't buy Stone Oil if you want a brown boot.

These are great boots. They are my second pair of this brand, and just as well-made (will probably last a decade or more) as the others. However, they are very hard to fit--for me, at least. Normally I wear a size 9 in boots (M width) because of thicker socks. I vary between an 8.5 and a 9 in shoes. So, I ordered 9's first. The heels really slipped, so I put those aside, and ordered 8.5. No slippy heels, but they feel really tight in the instep. I have both pairs right now, and I am trying to decide which ones to keep--if either. I love the look, love the brand, but these just fit weirdly. I think I need an 8.75, lol. Anyway, we'll see.

Really wanted to love the La Canadienne waterproof boots, (tried both Camilla and Charlotte) but they're just a bit too much like clunky snow boots, not stylish enough for my taste. Am keeping the gorgeous Carolina instead even though they're not waterproof.

I have 2 pairs of these boots. They are definitely my go-to. However, the quality of my 2nd pair is noticeably inferior to the first. My shoe repair shop agreed. The suede ripped near the top. I could have returned them, but Zappos no longer had my size.

Love them but need to wear with thick socks as they appear to run big.

I bought the style Perla in 2004 and the zippers wore out but the leather was still good after 10 years so I looked to find another pair and found them at Zappos. In the process I also decided to get the style Camilla for our rugged Chicago winters. I hope Camilla wears as well. It doesn't come in narrow width but I put in an extra insole which snugs it up enough with heavy socks. I was very pleased that Zappos notified me when my size was available for the Perla boots that I wanted.

Awesome looking boots with great tread. But no support and too stiff for my feet. This brand is excellent though and worth a try--I own several other pairs.

So far, these boots are great overall -- great looking, appear to be well made (time will tell), waterproof. My only complaint is that they are a bit heavy.

I owned the previous version of this boot; it held up for many years. But this one has a heel that is a little higher than previous version. I hope they craft another version with slightly lower heel. Also, unlike the brands' boots with functional laces, I could not fit on any but the thinnest of socks with my normal size in these boots. Otherwise, these are gorgeous on, so versatile in terms of style, and very long-lasting.
