Warm and comfy. The toe box is shallow and short. I had to go up a whole size.

These might be the most waterproof winter boots I ever had. They have kept my feet dry this whole winter. Warning, they do run small. I am usually a 6.5, ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfectly.

I really like this boot and I've received compliments. It's very warm and soft inside. I've shoveled snow several times so far with my boots and have not had wet or cold feet yet. I really like them!

I purchased these for my wife, who is dead set against buying shoes or boots without trying them on. She loved them!

Absolutely great boots! They arrived in time for one of the snowiest winters in NY. If you live in the City you know that the snow is lovely for approximately 12 hours - afterwards it's a slushy mess. These boots help me traverse really deep puddles of slush (at every corner) without any leaks. The boots are also very comfortable and I can wear them for an entire workday, if necessary. Highly recommended!

Best winter boot I've ever had. Have worn for over a month now through a Chicago winter. I don't need to wear a thick sock, my feet stay warm. They are so easy to put on, and you can wear them all day long comfortably. And so cute! I've gotten so many compliments. Worth every penny. Definitely go one size up.

I love these boots, they are comfortable, fashionable, and stylish. These are just the boots I needed for a New York winter, excellent barriers for the cold and snow. They are so cute I'm getting another pair in black. I just love Zappos.com!

Just ordered two pairs in different sizes. I am returning the half size larger pair. I find that the shoe is actually true to size. Also, returning the white pair. I loved them online but in person the bottom part looks like a dirty beige. But they feel great, warm, comfortable. I'm exchanging for the green/brown in a smaller size.

I just got these boots and I just had to write a review immediately! These Tim's are high quality and warm, and are "HOT" meaning they look GREAT! When I pulled them out of the box I thought...UGH--they look a little too manly. But when I tried them on they were SO WARM and SO comfy and really cute! They weren't as big or bulky looking once I put them on. I also bought the North Face Abby III's but will be returning them as they are NOT as comfortable nor have as much arch support as these do. After reading the reviews & due to my past experience with Timberland's I knew I would need a 1/2 size bigger than I normally wear, so instead of ordering a 7 1/2 I ordered and 8 and they fit great!

These boots are warm, comfortable, not too heavy, and protect great against the elements.

Like others I tried to order this boot in a larger size. I'm normally a size 8. The biggest size available was 8.5. I took my chances but too small. They're a really nice boot, cute, well-made, warm I'm sure, but they're going back. Thanks for such quick delivery.

Florida stores don't stock the snow boots you need in Wisconsin so "Thank you Zappos!" Great shipping policy! These Timberland Tall Lace Ducks were very comfortable, warm and dry! The size 8 fit great for my seven and a half size foot. I would have rather had a zipper on them but the laces insured a tight fit. They gripped the ice and kept my feet cozy in the slushy snow. Great boot!

These boots are high quality and warm, and look fabulous! They are not as big or bulky looking or feeling as the Sorel ones I had also tried. They are easy to slip on and off and I don't need to untie them to do so. The color is more of a dark blue/green than a forest green.

Very comfortable boot. I've tried several Keen's, however, they are so stiff, and they are hard to find the correct size. So, I decided to try the Timberland Earthkeepers. These are very comfortable, cozy, have a great walkable sole, and they fit a variety of sizes of calves. My mother and I wear the same size shoe; however, she has a narrow calf and I have a wide calf. Because of the lacing, you can loosen or tighten the shaft to fit any size. Definitely great for the snow and rain! I did have to go up half a size in this shoe from a 7 1/2 to an 8.

Product and service are great, unfortunately, I recently found out Zappos was bought out by Amazon.com, who are under boycott because of the Wikileaks matter. Sorry, no more business for you.

Best boots ever! At first I was concerned that they would be just a bit narrow with wool socks...fit like a glove and stretched a bit to my feet after just one wear. Incredibly warm, even after shoveling and playing in the snow with my boys for hours...in Boston...in over a foot of snow! They are also not heavy or clunky at all, and I get loads of compliments on them. Shoes always hurt my feet and my feet are always cold - not in these. I am waiting for the brown to go on sale so I can justify buying another pair!

These boots are awesome. They are warm and snuggly without making your feet uncomfortable. Not only is your foot kept warm and dry but so it your leg! I love these boots! They withstand wind, rain, snow, and storms of all kinds. It's safe to say you can wear them without a sock and your feet will still be happy. An excellent buy! Well worth the money!

After reading all the reviews on these boots I decieded to get a half size bigger than I normally do and they fit perfect. They are great for keeping my feet super warm and dry on those rainy days. The delivery was very fast and I am very pleased with Zappos.

I commute to the train in snowy Chicago and I absolutely love these boots. They're very warm, very comfortable and not as big and heavy as I thought they'd be. After years of looking for the perfect winter boots, I think I've finally found them!

I actually bought this boot elsewhere, but since I usually buy from Zappos and I always read the reviews, I thought I would put my two cents in. I am a solid 8, but when I tried on the boots in the store, I asked for an 8.5 and a 9 based on the Zappos reviews. I have a fan shaped foot (wide in the front part of the foot and narrow in the heel), a high instep, and thin ankles and calves. The 8.5 felt too tight in the front of the boot and the tongue of the boot seemed too small - too much gusseting showing. It also seemed skimpy around my ankles and calves. The 9 was a much better fit. The only downside was that I had a little slippage in the heel, but that was remedied by taking time to adjust the laces really well from the bottom up. The 8.5 also seemed to gap and bulge around the ankle, but I was able to get the 9 pulled together really nicely in that area. They are not an easy in/out boot, but the lacing lets you get the fit really snug and comfy. The 8.5 also seemed too tight on the top of my foot while the 9 was much better. So I would say definitely go up a whole size. Maybe only a half size if the front of your foot is really narrow, you are a small eight, and/or you have a low instep. As to the looks - awesome! Very modern - looks great with skinny jeans, leggings,etc. It can also fit under my boot cut insulated pants without looking crazy bulky (unlike the tall fur topped boots that are all the rage). These boots are also very warm and comfortable to walk in. Have yet to test them in heavy snow.

These boots are extremely comfortable! Originally, I ordered a size 11 because other reviews said to order a bigger size. My suggestion is to order the boot in your usual boot size.

I love, love, love this boot! I wear a size 10 and ordered an 11 due to reading other reviews of the boot running small. The 11 is perfect. I can wear a medium or thick sock (cotton blend or fleece). Initially the boot felt comfortably snug, but then the lining matted down some and created a bit more space. I have a narrow foot and heel and these are perfect fitting for me. Although it's a tall boot, it's super easy to get into and out of. The boot is very warm without the bulk of size or weight. Toes stay nice and warm as well. I've done some serious snow clearing already this winter and am very impressed with the boot's performance overall. Zappos' customer service and shipping time always exceeds my expectations. Exemplary!

These are definitely the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. The are more flexible around the ankle, have a better insole and are warm all the way to my toes! I did order about 1/2 size up and they fit fine. The "snugness" seems more to be over the top of the foot rather than the length being shorter than normal. Plan to wear them with thin socks. They do look like serious weather boots - nicely styled but serious.

Nice...I'm a "dog walker" need some good boots that are comfy. These are real light, very warm, Chicago warm, and comfy. Fit like a glove. At first I thought the instep might be a little tight; I do have a tall instep but walked around the house with them and decided I love these boots.
