Customer Reviews Merrell Encore Eclipse

This is a super comfy shoe, but my foot slipped out. I usually wear Dansko or Sanita's for work, and I wanted something a bit more flexible. I have another pair of Merrell's that are really comfy, have a lot of support, but my toes are a bit cramped- so I up sized a half size, especially after reading the reviews. But, unfortunately, these just don't work for me. Love the look, though.

These shoes run very long and very wide. I usually wear a 9½, but the closest fit was an 8, which was very wide. Also, I could put four fingers between the top, inside of the shoe and the top of my feet. If they fit better, I would have kept them. They look good.

I am so sad that these shoes did not live up to the positive reviews. The fit is very odd. The heel is loose and the part on the top of the foot sticks up oddly, leaving a gap. I have other Merrells that fit great but not these. They are going back.

Often times Merrell's shoes are wideer, although not indicated as a wide. These shoes were highly rated as comfortable and fitting very well. Excited and hopeful,I was sorely disappointed. I didn't even have to walk in them. They were uncomfortable from the beginning.
