My sister told me about the pair she had and how comfortable they are. I have other Merrell shoes and love them. I ordered the same size as my other shoes and they were a little short so I ordered the next half size up and they are perfect! Very comfortable. Try them, you won't be disappointed. Also, Zappos can't be beat for service and selection.

I ordered this Merrell style and really love them. They run true to size once worn a couple of times so the leather can stretch. I love the arch support. They are stylish enough to wear to work most days. This is my third pair of Merrells and I will be a lifetime customer.

I first purchased these shoes in brown, and they quickly became my favorite casual shoes. They look great with jeans or khakis. I just bought the black ones, and they are just as comfortable. I travel a great deal, and these shoes work well for those long walks in airports!

I love this shoe! I have stability problems walking. Other clog-type shoes have too high a base for me. But this shoe has all the appeal of a clog, plus great comfort. I do agree with others who said it runs tight. I ordered a half-size up because of those warnings and because I have a very high instep and was worried the top might be too tight. It was with the lining it came with, but once I replaced that with a thinner one, the shoe is great, and it's become my #1 dry day (I have the suede) fallback shoe. Note: A friend of mine ordered the black, and frankly, I don't think it was nearly as "classy" looking as the suede Dune color.

I have a pair of the Merrell Encore Novas in brown and have loved them. They are worn out but still very comfortable. I got the Eclipe in black to replace an old pair of black shoes and was amazed at how much more support I felt in these vs. my old brown pair. And yet they are still extremely comfortable. I do like how the Nova is a slip on, but I really like the detail on the Eclipse with the strips of leather criss-crossing the shoe. This is a great everyday shoe.

I really love these shoes. They run small. I bought a pair in size 9 and ended up giving them to a friend because my toes hit the front of these. This time I ordered size 9½ and they fit great. I love the color!

I tried this in two sizes. Great arch support, but too snug a fit and too much pressure on the top of my sensitive instep. Also, very difficult to slip on even with a great shoehorn.

I bought these shoes for work, I can be on my feet as much as twelve hours a day and after searching and searching for the right shoe I finally found them. I have a Black pair and a Brown pair, they are very comfortable and stylish as well, much better than the Dansko and Allegria shoes that I bought and was very disappointed in. My shoe size is 8 1/2 and although this is the size of both my brown and black pair the brown pair are much roomier than the black pair. One of our local stores had the brown ones so since the 8 1/2 fit I ordered the black ones online and found these to be a bit more snug, they are working out fine but I would caution anyone concerned about this to try on the different colors since they seem to fit a bit different. Other than that I love my Merrell's!

Love these shoes! Are a bit difficult to get on, but once they are on they are as comfortable as slippers. Fits true to size. Lots of room in the toe box while fitting heel like a glove.

This is my second pair of Merrill Encore Eclipse. I will always keep a pair of these in my closer! Comfortable, great arch support, nice looking, non-slip soles and hold up well in the rain and snow...what more could you ask for? Great for chasing the grand kids around.

As with the Spire stretch, these are beautiful shoes, but too small. Other size 11 Merrells fit me but not these ones. Too bad there is no 11½.

Looks good and feels great. Walking is easy for my tired legs in this shoe. It will be my "go to" shoe for winter. This is my second pair of Merrell shoes and I love both of them. I love Zappos too!

Comfortable, versatile, lightweight for travel. I wore them all day on my first visit to Washington DC. Then that evening at an elaborate dinner party.

Exactly as advertised. I have gotten this style of shoes twice now and have been very satisfied with fit and durability.

I bought these shoes to wear hopefully on a tour my husband and I are signed up for in Egypt. I have 2 pair of Merrell sandals that are so comfortable. I wore these shoes the first time shopping in a large mall and my only discomfort was a little rubbing on a pinky toe. The next time I wore them was an all day trip to the zoo - walking almost 5 hours straight and no sore feet at all. We went back again for a couple of hours the next day - still no sore feet. I'm so glad I found these shoes!

This shoe is wonderful and stylish to wear and is good for lots of walking! For travel it can look casual or dressy! I like to use a shoe horn when putting them on so I don't scrunch up the back! I wore a thinner sock for long plane trips when my feet swell a little and then a thicker one for walking!

As advertised -- it's a comfortable shoe I wear all day at work (social services) & for a long mid-day walk. I have very small feet & find it hard to find shoes that fit. Merrell always seems to work for me.

My daughter took my original pair for catering, so I bought another and am using it to traipse about the cobblestones of Italy.

I work twelve hour shifts as a nurse, and I have tried Alegrias, Danksos, and the new Dankso XP clogs. Merrell Encore Eclipse are the only shoes I have worn that don't leave my feet aching and sore. I would love to see some exciting colors besides brown and black.

These are pretty amazing shoes! So comfortable! I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day, and had tried the Dansko's which were not comfortable.

I've had three pair of these over the last 6 years. I wear them out as I am on my feet all day - sometimes for 18 hours. I did wear Danskos but my feet hurt so bad by the end of the day that I thought I was going to need surgery. I tried these shoes and what a difference! My foot pain disappeared! They may not be "cute" but they are very comfortable from day 1!

Shoes are exactly what I was looking for. Being able to view them in video really helped see them better. Zappos is a great way to shop.

Okay, not the best looking shoes, but these have been a godsend for me and my chronic Plantar Fasciitis. They are great shoes and hold up well - and I'm hard on shoes. Excellent arch support. I have a bit of a narrow heel and they fit wonderfully. These are the only shoes I can wear all day long. If I had the money, I'd buy four more pairs so I wouldn't run out! Nice shoe, well-made. You can't go wrong with Merrell.

This shoe looks really cute on, cuter than I expected as I was buying them for comfort. I had a pair of Merrell Encore Breeze before and they were so very comfortable. However, the decorative strip of leather over the toe bed hits my foot in just the wrong spot so it will never be comfortable. If it was plain leather it would conform to the foot, but with that strap of leather it will not. Otherwise it would have been great.
