The replacement are more handsome than the originals.

After my first pair of Merrells they are the only shoes I'll buy on line for splendid comfort and familiar support all season round. my customers appreciate a fine shoe when I enter their homes and tread on their fine Indian and Persian carpets. A tradition I've adopted from Jspanese culture out of respect!

I used them at work all day and let me stand up for long hours without getting tired of them.

I have been wearing a pair of black Encore Gust shoes for about 2 years and although they aren't in GQ I wouldn't have any others. They are the most comfortable shoe I have worn in years.

My husband is on his feet a lot for work and loves this shoe. He enjoys the comfort while his feet do not get too hot.

Wanted to find a replacement for the Merrell Jungle Moc slide, which is no longer available in the slide style. These fit fine and were well constructed but they look like womens clogs. Sending back and trying the Ropers.

Last year I purchased two summer styles and liked them so much I couldn't wait to get them in leather. Finally just received these, and I'm glad I waited.

Just bought a new pair of Encore Gusts in brown and these are probably my fourth or fifth pair over the years. Have always loved them. When older pairs get sufficiently worn out, I use them as garden shoes. Keep up the good work.

Awesome shoe!!! My first pair lasted 10 years.

This is the third pair I've bought in black, and I bought one more pair in brown. I keep wearing them out and have to replace them with exactly the same thing. I tried a pair in a very similar style from a different company, but they were not as satisfactory.

I have had 5 pr of these shoes and love them all. They fit like gloves and best of all an old guy like me doesn't have to bend to tie them. I keep 3 pair all the time .I use them for good, casual and garden. The garden ones are just about finished so a new pair were just ordered to move the other 2 pair down the pecking order. My wife has 2 pair of sandals and a pair of clogs too. We both love our Merrells.

This is the second pair of Encore Gust that I've purchased. The first pair lasted for ~10 years. I ordered exactly the same size and they fit perfectly. They're comfortable, sturdy, hansom and are easy to put on i.e. no bending or shoe horn required.

Since I tried my first pair in the early 90's, I have been convinced Merrell is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have owned up to seven pair at a time, casual, dress, hiking (winter and summer), and water shoes. Never disappointed and always properly supported. My lower back pain has also benefited and I always feel in style. My style. Currently retired I need to watch my purchases but my feet matter so it's still Merrell for me and my replacement Encore Gust slides is certainly worth the investment. Thanks.
