I wanted to like these boots because they are beautiful. But the leather is so stiff they are extremely uncomfortable. Sadly, I'm sending them back.

Without a doubt, these are the most comfortable boots that I have ever owned! The leather is soft, the style is trendy, and the shoe part feels great on my foot. They are perfect!

I have been looking for a pair of tall leather boots that would work with my calves (which are 15"). These boots are great. The full length zipper and the side buckles make it a breeze to get on and adjust as needed to get the right look with jeans, leggings, or tights. Overall, I would highly recommend these boots.

These boots fit beautifully. I do not have huge calves, but they are large enough not to be able to wear side zipper boots. The zipper on these is full length, the adjustable buckles fit the bill and on first time walking about the city, they were very, very comfortable. I now own a black and brown pair.I heartily recommend them!

Simply put these boots thrill me. They look beautiful on. The leather is a fantastic deep rich brown, without being too dark. I am 5'7" and the boots hit a bit below my knee. The buckles adjust to make these the perfect boots if you have a larger calf and the perfect boot if you have an average calf. My only complaint is that they feel a bit stiff around the ankles, but I think that will shake itself out. And as always, Zappos' shipping was amazing.

Perfect in every way! I have searched and searched for a beautiful wide calf boot and finally found it in this Ecco boot. I have a 17 calf and this fit fine thanks to the adjustable buckles. Not only stylish, they are also extremely comfortable. I was able to wear them a full day and evening right out of the box. Do not hesitate due to the price because you will have them for years to come!

Excellent boot! It was hard to find a boot that went around my calf, but this was just the ticket. It expands on the sides great and by ordering my regular size, it had plenty of room for my orthotics, but can only wear knee-highs till it stretches out a little, but that is okay--these are great boots!

A perfect pair of boots. I can't say enough about them! I have never been able to find a boot that fits my calf, I measure 17-18 inches. These do and after a couple of wearings they have stretched a little so that they are comfortably extended but not to the max. The foot bed is comfortable, I walk all over NYC and they cause me no pain, which is rare. No burning balls of feet with these. I love them. Good with dresses, good with pants and slightly dressy. Delighted I bought them.

How do I love these boots? Let me count the ways. You know you have a great pair of boots when, literally, everyone who sees them comments on them. I eyed these boots for a long time and hemmed and hawed over paying full price, hoping I could find them for less elsewhere (I couldn't. They were always sold out). So I finally took the plunge and splurged, with my eyes closed on a Thursday evening. And Zap, there they were on my doorstep the next afternoon! Very impressive! And the boots are perfect in every way, from the fit to the color to the size heel. I adore these boots!

These boots are wonderful! I was waiting for a cool day to wear them and yesterday provided it. I wore them all day (7 am until 10 pm) and my feet felt great (and I am on my feet a lot at work). I got lots of compliments on them too!

These are fab boots - I am 5'4" with 16 inch calves from biking and the clever design of these boots & gorgeous leather make them worth every penny. Love them!

Gorgeous boot, but not for skinny legs! Have to send back due to very voluminous calf-area on the boot.

These are super cute, but a full size too large. I normally wear a 9N, ordered 9-9½B and they were huge, and the calves way too large even with buckles adjusted tightly. That was too bad.

Sizing was perfect on the boot with socks on - footbed not tight at all. I'm 5'4" and the top of the shaft did bump back of knee on stairs. I think it would soften with wear, but a little annoying. Look is okay, but made my calves look wide with horizontal banding.

I got the cognac, and it's a really nice color. However, this boot is for wider calves. I have a 13" calf, and the shaft portion was huge. The adjustments just aren't effective when it's so big...I would have had to punch a hole in the very last part of the leather strap, and even then, it was bunching so much it looked terrible. The boot is comfy, though.

I am always a size 7-7 1/2 or 38. However in Ecco shoes I am always a size 37 or 6-6 1/2. I am petite and have small cabs. I love the way you could tighten the buckles to shape the calf. They look great. I can't say they're the most comfortable shoes. But I think they just need to be broken in. I'm 5'2 and I don't think I could have worn any taller boot than this.

I own these in black and cognac. They are easily one of, if not the, most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I get compliments all the time on them -- they have a riding boot/moto cool thing going on. I have athletic calves, and these fit no problem. Just a fantastic boot!

Love these boots. I have larger calves and they fit perfect with the buckles that adjust on the side. A must buy if you want comfort and style in a boot.

These are very stylish boots. I wear an 11.5 and found I could barely fit in the 42 with thin socks--wool won't be an option with these boots, but at least I was able to find something stylish, good quality and comfortable for this winter.

Great fit, super soft leather. Adjustable straps accommodate jeans or tights, so you can widen as needed. Comfortable footbed - was able to walk all day in them the first time I wore them.

I tried at least 4 pairs of boots from Zappos. It was so easy to exchange and finally get this beautiful pair of boots. If you are debating spending the little extra - don't! Just get them. They are gorgeous!
