Awesome shoes. I've been wearing the Authentics and loved them. Thought I'd go for a little more padding with the Era Pro and they are incredibly comfy and super cool.

My son is a skateboarder and he always wanted some Vans. We purchased the shoes after three and received them the next day on Christmas Eve! He loves them!

The extra padding in this shoe makes it much more comfortable than the unpadded versions. The shoe liner is removable so you can put in your favorite inserts if you want and still have padding on the sides. The tongue is also padded. You can see that this shoe is better quality than those other knock-off brands - I've tried some of the others - stay with Vans!

This is a good looking comfortable shoe.\r\n\r\nI love the styling of this shoe. I like the flat bottom, rounded corners, wide foot of skater shoes, but most are too loud for my taste. This shoe has an understated beauty and a geek-chic aesthetic.\r\n\r\nMy office has a business casual dress code, and with the matte finish and the black sides, these shoe fit within the specification.

Extremely comfortable shoe. I work on cement floors for 8 to 10 hours a day and my feet don't hurt. Also they fit true to size and also a great skate shoe too!

I thought I ordered a men's 5 but I was sent a men's 6. So it a lil big but they are very nice.

I have been wearing both the Era and Authentic for 20+ years. So happy the vans pro exist, the ultra cushion insole is epic and my busted a** feet are happy.

Nice shoes, but a bit tight. I normally wear a 9 in regular vans, but these pros, with the extra cushioning were too small.

This was a medium width, but too narrow for me. There was no wide available. The cushioning was great, but not much of it was aimed at arch support. Very stylish, and not uncomfortable as long as there is not alot of walking or standing.

I really love the way the shoes looked, but they were a little short/small, and also too heavy for my needs (I have severe foot drop and struggle funding the right sneakers). Zappos was terrific all the way around Though getting my original pair returned/refunded, a half size larger to me to try on and then ultimately, returned/refunded for the same reasons. Great experience, just didn't work this time :-)

Believe all the reviews which state how insanely high the heel is. The foot insert pad towards the heel is extremely thick, when compared to my previous VANS Era's there is about 50% less space for your heel before it starts coming out. I ended up returning the shoes because my heel kept on coming out on every step.

With every pair of Vans I’ve ever had I’ve had to break them in for a bit, and this shoe is no different. The cushion-y insole, however, was another challenge. It feels as if your foot is halfway out of the shoe! It has been taking some getting used to, but the shoe gets more and more comfortable with every wearing. And I like the looks.

I typically wear the Classics which cost $10 less, but since I was going on vacation and knew I'd be walking around a lot, I decided to spring for the extra Pro series after reading reviews about the improved cushioning. I personally didn't notice much of a difference when I first slipped them on, but after walking 50+ miles around the concrete jungle that is Hong Kong in 5 days, I knew my legs and joints would've been in much worse shape in the Classic Vans. I actually felt pretty good and could've gone even further. I have wide feet (I'm 6'2" tall, 190 lbs), and they did rub the outside of my pinky toe that was a little sore after 50+ miles, but not enough to cause any blisters. I know there are better shoes for walking long distances, but this Vans style matches my look, and I believe these to be the most comfortable versions possible in this Vans style. They look great with the suede top and the canvas bottom/back layer. I didn't notice that in the pictures (you really need to zoom in) and was surprised when I opened them, but they ended up looking great.
