This shoe was recommended to me by a Pedorthists for my foot condition. I purchased one pair of Ariels by Brooks, a different color for 2013, at their store. This is the same shoe but I like the color better.

I live very rural so I use the internet to purchase items. I spent hours upon hours looking for a shoe that not only looked pretty but was wide enough for my feet. I purchased and sent back more shoes than I care to think about until I found Zappos! I have arthritis in my toes and I have wide feet so I needed just the right shoe. The Brooks Ariel is the best shoe I've ever had on these tired feet! Fit so comfortably from day one, are pretty, allow my feet to stay drier than other shoes...just all around great.

I usually wear the grey leather Expedition. These are great with almost the same support. They are sporty looking. I wear prescribed orthotics in them.

These shoes are like a "cloud". The moment I put them on I fell in love with them. Wish they were a little more "sleek", but the cushioning, arch support and comfort are wonderful!

This shoe has been the most comfortable shoe I've worn in years. I have flat feet w/plantar fasciitis & heel spurs. These shoes are the best!

Love these shoes! I just started getting the effects of plantar fasciitis and they really help. It didn't go away but I can tell the difference.

I have neuropathy, plantar fascia, and other foot problems and this motion control shoe is the best for my feet. It offers good cushioning in the heel and maximum support. While I rate it highly, I think it has gotten narrower over the years and the quality of other mesh isn't as good since they've gone green. Zappos is the best company Ive ever dealt with on-line.

Wow! These are incredible right out of the box. 10D, heavenly fit, super cushy yet so stable. High arch, bunion, ankle issues have nothing on this pair of sneaks.

Because I'm a runner, I've owned over 30 pairs of Brooks Ariel running shoes. About 4 new ones each year! Love them! Recommended by my Podiatrist. I order them from Zappos = easy, quick, & they're really nice!

Love these shoes. They ran a bit narrow for me. Ended up getting an E width. No breaking in needed. Walk 3 to 5 miles daily. Zappos was easy to shop with. Easy returns.

Okay, I'm a fan of Brooks anyways because of their excellent cushioning and arch support. These shoes did not disappoint in any way plus they are cool for summer and they are cute with the turquoise color on them. I liked them for their comfort and stability and to me, that's the main reason to buy any pair of shoes.

Felt fabulous. Am worried a little about how high up the back comes on my heel. I hope it doesn't rub after walking a distance. This I cannot know until the time comes. Otherwise they are fabulous!

Still the greatest shoe I've ever put on my foot. Changed a little maybe shorter than the last time (Not a half size). But for motion control these are the shoes to buy.

These fit perfectly right out of the box. It baffles me why most shoe manufacturers assume that no one wears a size 10.5! My foot doctor also gave this choice five stars.

For the first time in many, many years I put on a pair of shoes that felt that they had been made just for me! No break in time and when I got home from work, no foot, knee, or back pain. Recommend these to anyone with wide, problem feet. I work in a large hospital and am on my feet all day.

I am a female that has a VERY Flat feet and over pronation. My feet are also fat and with a bone sticking out. So I ordered the WIDE shoes, however I need to re-order the EXTRA WIDE because my bone sits right on top of the insole causing my non existing arch to hurt. But, when I tried them it was glorious, softy and cushioning.

I have been getting the Ariel for years - and truly my feet/knees and ankles know when I workout in something else. Great shoe.

I have many feet issues, but the hardest to find shoes for is the severe over pronation. This shoe with my orthotics is the best for my foot condition. I wish they made this shoe in a solid white no colors so they could be worn with everything. The aqua is not as bad as some colors but white would be more useable. Thanks zappos for your free shipping policy. It is so very helpful when trying to find just the right shoes. Better than going from store to store to find the best shoes.

I've struggled with plantar fasciitis since my college lacrosse days. While my running days are over, this Brooks shoe is a wonderful cushioning shoe for those with ankle or foot injuries. Brooks is the best shoe for injuries by far! Though my fasciitis is a recurring thing that this shoe cannot prevent, this is the best shoe I've found for all day walk around comfort. I purchased a half size larger to accommodate a thicker winter sock and swelling from fasciitis. Otherwise, this shoe is true to size. It's very cute and really feels great all over the shoe. Lots of cradling cushioning comfort throughout.

Love these shoes! Definitely worth the money. I recently started a C25k program with my daughter and my knees were really bothering me after running. With these shoes, no knee pain! I have a slight pronation and these shoes must correct it. Will buy Brooks again!

I love these so far but need to order my usual size 7.5 I ordered .5 size up relying on the reviews. GREAT overall foot stability & support roomy toe box (I need to wiggle mine) I work in a hospital 12 hr shifts & I need a comfy shoe. I don't care what they cost I need comfort bottom line. Cute doesn't cut it for me anymore....bonus that these are cute. I LOVE ZAPPOS THE CUSTOMER SVC IS OUSTANDING!

The BEST shoe! I can stay in these shoes ALL day and my feet feel great. A small hole quickly wore in one of the shoes, and Zappos made me happy and sent a new pair. The new pair is wearing great (no hole in toe). I have worn Brooks Ariel for about 4 years, and they give me the best support! I have flat feet, but these shoes provide comfort and support. I order all my shoes through Zappos as this company has the BEST customer service.

I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis for 2 years and have tried many types of shoes. I order them and usually send them back. This pair feel very good and I highly recommend them to anyone that suffers with sore feet. I am a nurse and on my feet for 12 hr shifts. These shoes definitely help.

I have extremely flat feet and overpronate. These are the only running shoes that give me the support I need. I was able to train and complete a 1/2 marathon without injury. I do add insoles for extra support.

These are the only running shoes that give me enough cushion without breaking down right away. I have bunions and a high arch with a narrow heel. These work well. I have owned at least 10 pairs of the various Ariel versions. Just wish they were less expensive!
