Great sneakers! Really helped my plantar fasciitis! True to size! Great price too!

These are the only shoes I can wear to run and walk in after having plantar fasciitis and tendon release surgery. Great support. Would like to see more colors and less silver trim.

This is my first pair of Brooks or any other brand of running shoes I've ever owned. I'm NOT a runner. Never have been. Never will be. I purchased these shoes after we had purchased Brooks Beast 2's for my husband who has major foot and ankle problems due to an on the job injury to his ankle. They worked wonders for him! I've had foot pain, lower back pain, sciatica pain and knee pain for years and thought I'd soon have to own one of those scooters to shop.I read lots of the reviews posted on these Brooks Ariel shoes which seem to be the women's version of the Beast 2's we'd had purchased for my husband. When I saw the Ariel's online from Zappos for $31 less than any other sight I decided to order a pair and see if they would make a difference for me. They fit my feet like a glove. I knew I would need the wide width and order a half size larger as recommended in some reviews. I am able to walk without pain in my feet, knee and legs. I have much less pain and strain to my lower back. They did take a little getting used to. I think because I had gone so long wearing the wrong shoes that made things worse. I plan to buy at least one more pair, maybe two if I can get another color at the great Zappos price. Great price, fast shipping and great service for the best shoes I've ever owned! Great shoe. Almost a perfect replacement for my beloved Pearl Izumi full stabilitzing/motion control shoe that is no longer made. Great price point as well. I like these better than the Brooks Addiction for my weird walking/running motion. They seem better cushioned. Only wish there were more options as to colors.

Very comfortable and good support. I had my feet assessed at a store for runners and they had me buy the men's version several years ago. This is the 1st time I bought the womens version. I don't run any more but walk several miles. I did need to buy extra wide when regular wide usually fits just fine. The arch support is good as is as well and I don't think I will need to buy an orthodic as I have in the past.

I got these shoes for walking and can't be more pleased with them. They are comfortable and provide a stable platform when I'm walking on uneven brick streets. Ventilation keeps my feet cool. In hot weather. I like the colors too, in that I wanted people to see me before they saw my shoes. I wear a 9 in street shoes but a 9-1/2 in walking shoes.

A really well-constructed shoe, with good motion control. I pronate and need stabilization so that my ankles don't collapse inward - this shoe provides that. I removed the inserts and put in custom orthotics, for increased arch support.

This is still the perfect shoe for me. If you have low or no arches or foot problems, this is the shoe to buy. I have had probably 15 pair by now. I try others and nothing comes close. I've had operations on both feet & have an artificial ankle, and my doctors recommend this shoe.

Loved these shoes and the ease of using Zappos. First time Zappos user and was extremely pleased. Brooks Ariel is amazing, great for overpronation and really comfortable, would HIGHLY recommend.

This is a great shoe for pronation of the feet. My order came fast, I was wearing this shoe in 3 days. Also priced this shoe in stores and got it much cheaper on Zappos. Excellent purchase, I would purchase this shoe again. Shoe has soft mesh upper for quick drying and nice stretch for problem feet. I wear size 9, but purchase 9 and half because of my bunions and I have ample room for my thick socks. I wear these shoes when I walk my dog every morning and they work great for the over pronation in my left foot.

These are the best running shoes for me. I've tried many other pairs, but my problem feet - bunions, neuromas, hammer toes, plantar fasciitis - have made shoe selection very limited. Before these shoes, I could only manage a mile before my feet would start killing me. Now I can run ten miles with no foot problems. I don't even need orthotics (and I discovered that orthotics mess up my run anyway). I am troubled that the Ariel is no longer being made - I just bought 2 pairs to tide me over for awhile, but I'm not sure what I'll go to next. Regarding styling, I think they're pretty orthopedic looking and it would be nice if they were available in the same colors as other modern running shoes, but I'll take ugly if that's the only choice I have.

About me: normally an 8 1/2, narrow flat feet with very narrow heels, terrible pronation. These fit like a dream. Toe box is nice and wide and yet they also fit my skinny heels perfectly. Ordered a size 9 which was perfect. Colors are nice -- I'm not a fan of the current garish neon shoe fad. I hope they keep making these for a long time.

I've been buying Brooks for quite a while. The toe box is wide enough and arch support is good, not as much as I need but no shoe does. This one is better than others I've tried. I wear them all day from the gym to walking the dog. Also like the look.

I love these shoes. I take an extra wide shoe and I have a bunion, which makes it difficult to fit my feet. Not only do they fit, but they are very comfortable, lots of good cushioning, and they look pretty as well. I dread shoe shopping so finding this one has been a delight.

Zappos is great! I have very hard to fit feet, and finding shoes in 8EE or 7.5EEE is very difficult. Not at Zappos! I ordered these Brooks shoes at a much lower price than in the stores. They arrived in two days, and when the fit wasn't right I easily printed a return label, sent them back, and had a new pair by the end of the week! The free shipping is great, fast, and reliable. I received emails throughout the entire process, informing me about where my packages were. Zappos made me feel safe about internet shopping, which I usually don't trust. It was hassle free! These shoes have excellent arch support for an over pronating, flatfooted, plantar fascia and bunioned individual. (really, I am fairly normal from the ankles up!). Needless to say finding good shoes is tough. The only complaint is that with some socks, the back of the shoe pulls them down, thus harder to wear certain low top socks.

Work at a warehouse, on my feet all day on concrete. This is the first pair tennis shoes I found that I could wear. Normally wear hiking boots, highly recommend.

My first comfortable sneakers! I have wide feet, and every pair of sneakers I've owned have been uncomfortable. They either pinched my toes, weren't wide enough, or rubbed my heel. I adore these shoes!

This is a great shoe. I use them for workouts and walking, with the recommendation from my podiatrist. This is my third pair, and I'm never disappointed. I bought a D width because of "problem" feet. They're very comfortable, roomy and provide a lot of support.
