Love these tennis shoes for my wide, flat feet. The arch is very supportive and the shoes are very comfortable. This is my fourth pair.

I have been looking for a new running shoe for almost a year. I used to use New Balance, but they quit making the one I liked so I went on a year long hunt for the perfect shoe. Thanks to Zappos free shipping and returns, I was able to do that. I love this shoe and I would recommend it to anyone who likes support, but not a heavy shoe. It comes in various widths which is great for me because I like them wide enough for my orthotics and wide enough to allow for my feet to swell on a long run on a hot sunny California day. I'll probably buy a couple more pair right away just in case Brooks makes changes to these shoes. I like them just the way they are. I'm 5'2 and weigh 130slb and run about 30 miles a day. I have mild pronation and tend to get foot injuries. This is why I spend time and money on a great pair of choose. I definitely recommend these shoes.

These Brooks shoes are the ONLY shoes that I wear for distance walking and at the gym. They have helped to keep my plantar fasciitis under control so that I can stay active. I was happy to see a new color in this shoe! The shoes are expensive but well worth the cost to keep me moving I highly recommend this fabulous stability shoe.

This is my 6th or 7th pair of Brooks Ariel's. They were recommended by my doctor to support my high arch and relieve my plantar fasciitis. I love these shoes! I have a hard time budgeting the price; however, can you really put a price on not having foot pain? I wear them every day as a lunch lady, for daily walks and for some running. It also comes in wide widths!

This is an excellent shoe. I have started walking for exercise again, and this is the only shoe that holds up. It is so easy to get this shoe from you instead of a store. Love the shoe! I did buy another pair of Brooks with this shoe in a pretty color of blue. Yes!

I love the Brooks Ariel for its outstanding support. However, this particular pair didn't feel right. The right shoe was significantly wider than the right. I'm a huge fan of Zappos and know that I can return and try again.

I have purchased these athletic shoes before so I knew they would have great support especially for long walks. They are also great if you spend a lot of time standing.

Very supportive, comfortable, stylish shoes. I buy NB in 1/2 half size larger than my dress shoes.

The fit was not secure for my arch and heel. On the wide side of medium. Good toe space. I wear a size 10 medium Brooks Adrenaline 13 in green trim. It has a better fit but toes touch tip. Should like to try the 10.5 med. of this model instead.

I have been wearing this style of shoe for 15 years. Love the fact that although Brooks changed the name of the shoe twice during that time, it's still available. I walk 20-25 miles a week, have flat feet, am 5'4" and weigh 165 lbs. This is the best shoe for fitness ever. I wear to walk, jog, aerobics, and any exercise class. I do not wear just as a casual shoe when not working out. Highly recommend going up one shoe size.

Awesome as always. I've been wearing the Ariel since they first came out. They keep my supination in check and keep me safe. Tall toe box for my toe movement and comfortable to the end.

For years I have been a loyal New Balance customer. When they discontinued the shoe that I loved, I went through several different styles, desperately trying to find one that would give me the support that I needed. I had never wore Brooks but was running out of options. For me there was virtually no break in time and they are so comfortable. I am on my feet all day for my work. After work, I powerwalk 3-5 miles a day. These shoes keep my feet happy. I have the arch support that I need and my heels are well cushioned. Thank you Brooks. Once again my feet are pain free.

These shoes have helped me keep walking. I developed plantar fasciitis a few years ago and my shoe store recommended them. These shoes prevent pronation which is the main reason for the foot issue.

Wow - I have a problem with pronation and very flat feet. These are the first shoes that have really made my feet feel good and very supported. They are also helping me overcome a case of plantar fasciitis. I bought a second pair right away.

Service was prompt and precisely what I had ordered. Since I had the style and size in mind before ordering, neither of these was an issue. So very convenient to have these delivered right to your door!

I have worn this shoe in the past and now I am wearing it because it is good for plantar fasciitis and over-pronation. It is a good, solid shoe, perfectly comfortable and durable. I wear it mainly to exercise, not to walk around, and it has worked well for the problems I mentioned. I always order up a size in a sneaker, in this case I ordered up a size and a half so that I would have 1/2 inch room at the toe.

I ordered the Brooks Ariel shoes about a month ago. Have worn them many times when I walk my dog and they fit like a dream. I am very happy with the shoes and very happy with the company. I can depend on Brooks shoes to fit me every time.

I have been wearing the Ariel sneaker for about 2 years now. I run and wear sneakers to work every day so this is my 4th pair. This model is a little different than my other 3 pairs. For one, it is lighter - which is awesome. There is also now a mesh panel to better accommodate a wide toe box and a bunion. Basically, it's every improvement I could want in this shoe and I am thrilled!

I have worn Ariels for years and loved the look of this NEW shoe. I paid more for this shoes than any other pair of Ariels. I have foot problems and my foot doctor had me wear these shoes about three years ago and so I kept on purchasing them. This particular NEW style is NOT working for me and I am about to call and try to return them. I have worn them only twice and even bought exercise clothes to match them which I love my new look with them. After I wore them the first time I had serious discomfort in my feet and my shins. I actually tossed the idea that it was the shoe. Later when I wore them again I had the same problem! I now realize that YES it is this new model of shoe. It has really changed! I also purchased about the same time another ARIEL shoe from Zappos that is blue/white. I examined both pairs of shoes and THEY look very different on the inside. I am crushed about this problem with these new shoes as I just love the look and have wanted to stay with Ariels forever. It has been great to purchase them on line, too instead of trying to find them at shoe stores, etc. which means lots of driving out here in CA. I would like to know WHAT has changed and would actually like to talk to the ARIEL/Brook people maybe. I may return this shoe. Right now they just sit in my closet with my adorable matching athletic clothing that I bought to MATCH. Puzzled customer here.

I love these shoes. One day I order and the next day they are at my door. How easy is that and the best part I just have to put them on and start walking. You do not need to break them in!

These were very comfortable from day one. They have a little too much shiney decoration on them for my taste.

Having had 3 foot surgeries, including an achilles tendon where it meets the heel, it is very difficult for me to find shoes that will not irritate the heel, even after 3 years. I have purchased and returned many pairs of tennis shoes to Zappos, but these are the keepers! So much padding/gel. No need to wear in.

I have a difficult time finding shoes that have enough padding on the ball of foot to make it comfortable walking long distances. These have the perfect amount making my ten or 3 mile walks comfortable.
