I really want to love these shoes, but every time I wear them, my feet are sore the next day. One problem is that they are heavy and after a day in them, my feet are just tired. I do have a problem foot, but even the other foot is sore from wearing them. They look great and are well made and should be comfortable, but, for me at least, they are not.

This is a beautifully crafted shoe, but the fit is ugly. I have several pairs of Dansko shoes in different styles. I usually wear a 38 (7.5). I ordered this shoe in 38 -- way too big. I ordered a 37 (hoping it would fit better) and it is still too big, but only in the heel. Dansko heel usually slip a bit, but this shoe\'s heel slips so much it makes the shoe unwearable. Both pair have been returned.

I really wanted to like this shoe, the style is fantastic. However, after wearing them for two days in a row, I have aggravated my right foot enough that I think I have a case of planter fasciitis which I believe I have never had. The arch support is minimal, and the height of the shoe going from toe to heel is just enough off to strain the bottoms of my feet. My feet feel sore and awful after I wear these. The style is super cute, but the she is noisy when you walk from the snaps moving. I wish I did not keep them.

These are really cute, stylish shoes that look good with jeans. However, think twice about these shoes if you need to walk or stand for any length of time. After walking around on rugs at home, I was pleased with the fit and the arch support. But after wearing them to work on a casual Friday - which included a walk of a few blocks - I really regretted keeping these shoes. Even though the shoes have platformed toes, the heel height skews the weight distribution, and that, coupled with the hard sole, left me with aching feet and aching knees. I hate to write such a bad review of a Dansko, but feel obliged to, if only to save one person from making the painful and expensive mistake I made.

These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned with a heel. I wear them with my jeans. I could walk a marathon in these. I'm a true size 8 and the 38 fit perfect. The 38 are supposed to fit size 7.5 and 8. I would think that if I was a 7.5 they might fit loose. I would probably wear them with thick socks. I bought these in a different color than shown. A western looking brown. Great shoe for a plus size girl.

Great looking shoe. However, the shoe feels like you are walking on wood, particularly on hard surfaces. The pounding of pavement or hard floors on your feet after walking for a few hours can make the balls of your feet very painful. I wore these for a day & then had to send them back as my feet were painful by the end of a days wear. I am a Dansko fan, but couldn't wear these for long. I figured the great style wasn't worth painful feet.

I absolutely adore Dansko clogs and shoes. The fact that I have 27 pair did not even slow me down when I saw these -- They went on my wish list and joined my "shoe lust" hall of fame right away. I resisted for a while, but it was futile! Now, about the shoes - They fit very well, with the usual Dansko sizing quirks. I wear a 9-9.5 or a 40 in Dansko - and the 40 is a great fit. I do have high arches/insteps, but I did not find these overly different than wearing the professional clogs or other Dansko shoes that come over the instep. The elastic insert affords enough give to make them very comfortable in the instep. The heel, though is high for me, as I am the queen of back, hip and knee surgeries (13 major surgeries there all told). I could do with slightly less altitude, but I love the look. What is one to do? I wear them anyway and try to sit more on those days, of course!

I have had these 1 1/2 years or so as my regular work-horse shoes (probably wear them 3-4 days a week on average,) they are the most comfortable cute work shoes ever, and they still look great after major wear!

This shoe is really cute and comfortable. It can be worn for work or play which is really nice. Love Dansko and it's nice to see that they are making some really cute styles other than the plain clog. Highly recommend.

I feel like I have the most beautiful, sexy shoes on when I wear these. They make me feel good just looking at them and knowing they're on my feet.

This shoe is comfortable and looks very good on. The leather scuffs easily so it needs to be polished once in a while. I'm very happy with this product.

I am a huge Dansko fan and love these shoes. They are so comfortable and stylish. I love that I can wear them with jeans, a dress, skirt, so many options.

These have got to be the cutest Danskos ever! The height and thick sole take a little getting used to, but they're very comfortable shoes. They look good with pants, jeans, skirts (worn with tights) ... and the studs make the shoes. They make me feel bad-a$$! I love them!

I love these shoes! I have very high arches so sadly many of the Dansko designs do not work for me. I have been a wooden sole clog junkie since the '70s and find these to be incredibly comfortable and more stylish than your average clog. I am 5'2" so the heel height is important to keep my jeans from dragging. These do not feel like you are wearing heels which is a huge bonus in my book. My foot is slightly wider than average and I find them to be perfectly accommodating! Although they are tight on my high arches the side snaps enable me to adjust the fit depending on the socks I wear. These look fabulous with pants and dresses. Looking for a second color!

This is a gorgeous shoe! I had hoped that being Dansko, the higher heel would still allow me to wear it, but I cannot. I have metatarsalgia and there's just a little too much forward pressure on the foot. I wanted to keep them though! Very cool looking shoe with jeans, dress pants or skirts!

I love these shoes. They can be a little dressy and very casual. Having severe arthritis in my feet, these shoes, being a platform do not hurt my feet as much as regular pumps. They really are adorable shoes.

I love this shoe! Super comfortable for me, but I don't have a particularly high instep. I usually wear an 8.5, got these in a 39 and they are perfect. I will be living in these when I start my new job on Monday.

Wife really loves the shoes but they arrived with scuffs, dents, and unseated staples. Very poor quality control considering the price, or received a previously worn pair. Will be returning/exchanging.

I like these shoes, and I'm hoping to love them once they have stretched out a bit. They look super stylish, the rivets are are lovely and they have a nice clog rocking sensation when walking. My only issue with them is that the top part over the bridge of my foot is a bit tight. There are two different adjustable positions that you can snap the clasp on the side and my foot requires is the most room and it's still a little tight. They are leather and will last forever, so I'm sure I'll get some more room out of them once they are fully broken in.

I work retail and my job's dress code does not permit athletic shoes, which has proven to be problematic since I have issues with my back and feet. I heard from numerous people that Danskos were a great shoe choice for comfort, and so I was thrilled to find really stylish ones on here in my size. They arrived very quickly, as always with Zappos, and so I was able to dive right in to the diligent break-in process that comes along with this particular brand. Honestly, I was worried that I would have to send them back after a week of unusually sore feet, with what felt like little progress with breaking them in, but I received good advice about taking them in to a local retailer to have them stretched overnight. This service was free, as they sell Danskos there, and they were really chill about the whole thing. Without the stretching process (they recommend at least a two night stretch), I would have likely returned the shoes. I also bought a gel arch-support thing and gel pad for the ball of my foot that are necessary for me to be able to wear these shoes for 4-8 hours at a time. I get compliments on my Ryders daily, and am pretty happy with them overall. The only drawback has been that because of the height of the heel and angle of the shoe, my knees take the pressure of my weight if I wear them everyday. My next pair of shoes will be Danskos with a lower heel, from Zappos, of course.
