These are very cute, funky shoes -- not quite formal, but nice enough to wear to work. I wear them all the time, but a couple caveats: the pattern rubs at my toes, the hem on the leather rubs really badly so I can't wear them without socks or I get really terrible blisters, the strap is a little tight. Other reviewers have complained that the strap has broken, and while I've had the shoes for a year, this hasn't been a problem, although it does feel a little fragile. I have very large feet, (bought the 42) usually buy a size 12 women's -- it's a little on the small side, my toes hit the end and rub all the polish off my nails. I also have really high arches, so my foot presses against the strap and the front lip of the shoe. So while these are more comfortable than your standard pump for me, they're not good all-day-on-my-feet shoes. Overall cute, if clunky, and moderately comfortable although must be worn with socks.

I ordered these because I'm an event planner and on my feet all day. Everyone kept telling me to get some Danskos but I needed a pair I could wear with a dress. I'm usually a 8 1/2 so I ordered the 8 1/2-9 and they were way too big. I was nervous about order the 7 1/2-8 but so far they are okay. They did really hurt my feet (blister and the inside of the strap hurt) but I'm hoping I can break them in. This is only my second time wearing them so I'm sure they will get better the more I wear them!

I am still in the process of breaking these in. They are comfortable for several hours, but at the end of my work day, they hurt my feet, especially at the strap. I have to keep it pretty tight to keep the shoe on. They would probably be better for someone who is not on their feet all day.

Super cute (and comfortable after a little breaking in). I reliably wear a size 10, but the 40 was too small. The 41 fits just right. I get lots of compliments when I wear them.

I am a tough person to please when it comes to shoes. I have had corrective surgery for morton's neuroma and reconstructive bone surgery on my left foot and a fractured sesamoid bone on my right. Spent most of my life on my feet and work as a cocktail waitress in a casino. These shoes have excellent arch support, are lightweight and really cute. Another waitress asked me if they had springs because I looked like I had a bounce in my step. These are my first Dansko's and I want to love them, and I know I will once I have them broken in. They seemed wide so I put insoles inside to take up some room. My heels are narrow so I bought some pads for that area but anywhere there is stitching is so stiff (like the design on the outsides and the seam in front over the top of your foot). The strap is very comfortable and I had my husband put leather oil on them like you would do for a baseball glove I guess. Hopefully it will soften up. Sounds like a lot of complaints but I have searched and bought so many different work shoes and these are way ahead of the pack.

Love these shoes! Has more cushioning than the Dansko clogs. I'm on my feet all day and these are comfy! Took a little while to break them in. The only downside is that the elastic attaching the buckle to the shoe got stretched out. But I called Zappos and they sent me a brand new pair in a couple of days, no extra charge. I'm so impressed by their customer service!

I love Danskos, but I've had to send these back twice. Both times, the elastic on the buckle ripped, after just a couple months of wear. They're very cute and pretty comfortable (although not as comfortable as my other Danskos). Too bad about the buckle. I probably won't go with a Maryjane style Dansko again.

I really thought Dansko is a comfort shoes, boy! was I wrong!!! I should just buy a Naturalizer which is really a comfortable shoes, soft and less expensive, too. This Dansko is not comfortable! It hurts my toes even though its loose. I tried tightening up the buckle and the shoes still feels like it's coming off my feet. What a waste of money! I wished I can return it but I already used it. :(

This was my third attempt to find a shoe to match the style and comfort of my beloved Merrell Plaza Bandau shoes that are no longer manufactured. And again, the Dansko Savannas didn't even come close. I usually wear a size 6.5. I ordered a size 37 (6.5-7), and my heel completely slipped out of the shoe with every step. The sole is stiff and not very flexible, which also contributes to heel slippage. And because of the limited flexibility, my insteps dig into the toe box as I walk. I am returning these shoes, as they certainly aren't worth the money I paid for them, and my quest continues.

I work in a medical clinic and stand/walk most of the day. I have been having trouble finding a shoe that will help my lower back pains, leg fatigue and heal pains. My lower back did stop hurting. I did not have as much leg fatigue but, my heels still hurt. These shoes are cute and light yet, overrated. I will still keep searching for the shoe that can do it all.

Savanna is very comfortable. :-) but I'm returning it because left shoe is longer than right shoe on my feet. :-(

Love the style of these shoes, unfortunately it kills your pinky toe! I can only wear them for one day or my feet kill me the second day. I also have to put band aids on my little toes as the decoration on the shoe somehow put a lot of pressure inward. Huge fan of dansko, but very disappointed in this shoe!

I was super sad that this shoe was too narrow for me. I own and wear by my 5-6 pairs of Danskos, all size 40, but for some reason this style was too narrow. Granted, I have a wide foot, but Danskos usually work, just not this style. Would have been perfect for skirts, though.

Incredibly cute shoe, that sadly was too small across the top of my foot. Also, the opening hit a place on me which created an unattractive bubble of skin, making my feet resemble Miss Piggy. I wish the opening was a tad higher to avoid this effect.

Super comfortable but the strap wore out in six months. I decided to choose another style of Danskos and Zappos sent me a different pair in a few days. Great service.

These shoes are cute as can be, but they rubbed the sides of my feet. I have worn Danskos regular clogs for 8 years in the same size, but these run much narrower. So if you have wide feet, might want to get a bigger size or a different shoe.

Very cute, but the strap cut into the top of my foot and the shoe was not as cushy as hoped. I am surprised that some reviewers could wear these right away, without a break-in period. But I was sorry to have to return them because they certainly are pretty.

I love the look of these but cannot wear them for more than 15 minutes without pain. The decorative stitching on the side rubs on my little toe and right below and is extremely painful. I am afraid to try any other expensive shoes. I have tried everything to make these comfortable but nothing has helped.

These shoes are not up to Dansko's usual standards. It says they are leather, however the material is extremely stiff and unforgiving. Although technically they fit, they hurt my feet and I am returning them. I note they are made in China as are one other pair of my Dansko's. The other pair is fine. I have two other pair of Dansko's, one made in Portugal & one made in Morocco - both of those pairs are flawless & have held up well over many years!

Not as comfortable as I had hoped. I usually wear the Dansko clog...after a little time getting use to them they are great. These are not. They are very cute but are not comfortable.

Very cute, bu the design on the corners hurts and gave me blisters. I would purchase Danskos again, but not this style.

This has been my only disappointment from Dansko. I wear their shoes all the time. I ordered the same size that I always do. But I was unable to make this pair comfortable. They hurt over the tops of my toes, tight below the opening. I tried wearing them more, and I tried stretching them but nothing made a difference. I've never had this happen before with Danskos. As I said, a real disappointment.

I loved the look of this shoe and could tell they would be very comfortable but being my first pair of Dansko shoes. I ordered my normal size only to find out that you need to order one size down. I wish I knew that sooner. Otherwise its an adorable shoe!

These are painful! I first both these in what I though was my size, but they were too small and I returned them for larger size twice. When I finally found the right size, after walking in them for five minutes the pain was unbearable I had to take them off. The pain was sharp and hitting me on the sides of my feet by my pinky toes. I am hoping that I do not have this problem with other Dansko shoes, especially since my podiatrist recommended that I wear Dansko.

I am a huge fan of Dansko shoes, but not this particular shoe. The shoe is tight in the toe area where the leather is embossed. I have had the shoe stretched along with stretching it myself, but nothing has helped. I am disappointed, but will continue to wear Dansko's to work and around town. It's the only shoe that gives true arch support! I am a RN, so I'm on my feet a lot.
