I bought a pair of these from a store in the mall. I tried them on, and they fit perfectly- I could've even bought the size smaller - but the first time I wore them for a substantial amount of time (about an hour of walking through Manhattan) they literally tire my feet up. I had to stop at Bloomingdale's and pick up a pair of regular Ugg boots, and my poor boyfriend had to witness the very uncute puddle of blood that soaked the bottom of each shoe. The pair I had purchased - the red patent with the brown leather - has permanent marks from where each shoe maimed my ankles. Honestly, I was in so much pain, I thought both feet were being slowly amputated. It's alright, though, because despite the extreme drop in cuteness with the pint of blood staining the leather and fur-cushioned inner sole, they're still gorgeous. I'll just never wear them again. It's crazy because they fit so well when I initially tried them on, and I was even considering going a size down. I guess the back part bends in a bit too much for the shape of my legs. At least they're pretty in my closet? Though I prefer to pay less money on closet decorations.

Much too small. Couldn't even get my foot into this shoe in spite of having ordered a half size larger.

I typically LOVE UGGs. I wear them all of the time. I have clogs and tons of boots. I did not like this shoe at all. They hurt my feet, and I find myself taking them off during the day because they hurt and do not feel comfortable at all. Go for the clogs- skip these!!

These are cute, but I wish they came in wide. They fit very narrow, and I can't imagine wearing them without socks, like traditional Uggs. The area covering the sides of your foot are very uncomfortable. You definitely need socks.

These are very cute shoes/boots, albeit the fit is pretty snug. I can only wear a thin sock. Overall, I like the shoe though. Zappos is great.

The size 11 were a squeeze and the back of the heel was too high. It dug into my foot. Too bad because I was looking for something fun to wear to a wedding on a farm this summer. If you have a narrow foot, I think they will be fine.

Cute but strange fit. Normally wear a 7 in Uggs, but a 7 in the Ashdale was too big. Couldn't walk without the shoe falling off. Ordered a 6 1/2 and still a bit loose in the heel. I put a Dr. Scholls heel grabber in the shoe, and it's fine.

The jury is still out on this shoe. Seems that my feet get cold in them, which is unusual for Uggs.

Tight fit in the toes. I had to return because both big toe and pinky toe were rubbing. Also, I was planning on wearing in the rain, but they aren't a good shoe for walking long distances. The red is an orang-y red.

I ordered these in February, wore them a couple months, then put them away for summer. I've worn them once this fall, and there is a now a tear along the stitching on top of shoe. Pay a lot for Uggs and have to use super glue to keep them together. This will probably the 1st and last pair of Uggs I buy.

Awful, awful, awful! The shoe fell apart. Every seem is ripped and I cannot wear it in the rain because of all the holes! Do not buy unless you want to throw away the dollars!

I am very disappointed with the quality of this shoe. I bought them in February, and when I wore them yesterday, I realized that they are literally splitting apart at the seams and in random places on the side of the shoe - a LOT, not here and there. I haven't worn these shoes very heavily, so I am shocked that they have not held up. I am wondering if the cause of the breaks was the cold (when I wore them, the morning temperature was about 11 degrees, I think). Maybe it was just too cold for the material to handle. I wore them last week and didn't notice a problem. I bought them so I'd have cozy shoes to wear in the winter and with the price, I expected better quality, especially from UGG. I have wide feet with a high arch, and these fit comfortably. The arch support isn't very good, but these shoes were great at keeping my toes warm on cold days. I get tons of compliments on them whenever I wear them, too. A+ on styling and warmth, C- for arch support, F for quality. These were my first pair of UGGS, and although I have been wanting a pair of boots, I don't think I will purchase anything else UGG if this is the kind of quality I can expect.

I am a senior citizen who purchased these shoes in navy and burgundy. I love everything about them. They are warm, waterproof and so comfortable. I am also a active hairstylist. I work all day in these Ugg Ashdale shoes with ease. The wool inside is wonderful. I always wear them with socks. My feet are never hot or cold but just right. My only regret is not ordering the black while it was available.

I love these shoes! I bought these to keep at my desk at work to wear when I have to pop out for lunch or to the post office. They are perfect for most of the drizzly wet weather and slippery sidewalks we get in Seattle. Even when the sun comes out and my feet get warm, they don't get sweaty thanks to the woolly lining. I normally wear a 9.5 in most shoes and boots, 9 in Ugg boots, and a 10 in the moccasins so I went with a 10 in these and they fit well with a little bit of room for thinner cotton socks, if needed.

Shoe is very nice looking but tasty. The dog chewed the upper flap the first time I wore them. Now it's still wearable but part of the upper is missing!! UGH!

I was hesitant to pay so much for these shoes since I thought they would have limited use and I'd only wear them in the rain and snow. Well, we've had a rough winter in the Northeast and I've been wearing them constantly. They have a roomy toe box which allows you to wear a heavy sock. I have walked across snow and ice without slipping. The lambswool interior provides warmth. I have had other similar shoes but they usually start hurting after a few hours. Not so with these shoes. These shoes are the best I have found in waterproof duck shoes.

My wife loves these shoes. Can be worn to work on rainy, snowy, or slushy days when you usually don't need higher boots. She gets a lot of unsolicited compliments.

I got these as a gift for a good friend who usually wears a 10. Just to be safe I ordered the 10 and a 9.5. I have a pair in another color for myself and I went down one half size. Mine are perfect and my friend also chose the half size smaller. They are so cute and really practical. I am in NE Ohio and must slip them on a dozen times a day to run outside for a minute or take the dog for a walk. The footbed is the only part with fleece but it keeps you warm enough. I have medium to narrow and think they are very comfortable. I took them to Ireland and wore them on streets and through a lot of wet grass and never had a problem. They wipe clean and always look good.

I am so pleased with the Ashdale. Incredible comfortable from day one. I bought this with travelling in mind, as I hate removing my shoes at airports. I suffer on winter months because I am constantly cold, therefore using only boots to try to keep warm and a practical warm shoe was always on my wishlist. The Ashdales came on my true size 7.5, yet a bit loose on the width, but that was perfect as I can only picture myself using them with socks. Even with heavy socks it wasn't too tight. My first use I needed to walk for a extended period of time, and all I got was comfort and warmness. Now I want them in every color I can find.

This is the best winter/rain/everyday wear. It is so comfortable I could sleep in them! I wanted a pair of comfy flat shoes for when it rains and snowy days... these are perfect.

I was a little apprehensive about buying these online after reading a wide range of reviews about sizing but ultimately decided to go for it. So glad that I did! The shoes fit true to size (I am a 7.5 in regular shoes and 8 in classic Uggs) and are comfortably a tad wide. They also fit my high arches well. I plan to wear them with liners or thin socks and am happy with the regular shoe size fit. If you like thick cotton or wool socks, you will probably need to go up a size. As far as the comfort goes, the Ashdale is surprisingly supportive. I've been on my feet for 10 hrs and the shoes feel great. No stretching was needed, they are comfortable right out of the box. I also love the construction, the patent leather and the shearling insoles. Pair the black ones with khakis or boyfriend jeans, a tunic and a fisherman sweater / vest and you've got a winning rainy day look!

Wow, I never thought I'd have a good thing to say about Uggs; usually they are hideous. I was on the hunt for a decent rain shoe as traditional rain boots suffocate my feet, are a pain to get on and off, and not so nice to look at. Duck shoes aren't that stylish, either, but they seemed to have pulled it off and I THANK the 242 Zappos reviewers that made me give these a try. I wear an 11M and these fit fairly well. The sheepskin lining doesn't make your feet sweat but also doesn't hide the fact that these shoes are low on shock absorption (which is a surprise, given the sturdy sole). I live in NYC and can quickly tell when shock absorption is a problem. Not to fear, though, as I needed arch support and a 3/4 orthodic fit wonderfully in these slightly wider than normal shoes. The toe area is perfect and the more I look at these shoes, the more rainy days aren't so bad. If you put these together with dark jeans they look rather preppy (but not stuffy). I have black and would recommend these as a get-to-the-office shoe. These really fit the bill. Also thanks to Zappos for letting me review without logging in. I appreciate anything low maintenance.
