These are a great fit, comfortable and very warm, very hard to find in a rain boot/shoe! The design is cute but if the rain is coming down, the top of your foot can get wet. Also, I got the red which is charming online but a little too flashy for my taste in person. Makes my foot look a little bit longer too, so sizing 1/2 down is a good idea. Overall good though.

I love this transitional shoe/boot - excellent choice for snow or rain. One major problem is that the shoe, after about a year tore along where the patent leather meets the rubber bottom, on both shoes. It appears to be a related to manufacturing? Not sure. I intend to contact the company to see if they will replace. I hope so...this shoe in traditional leather would have lasted a lifetime.

I really loved these and wanted them to work, but they were too big even with a thick sock. It's odd because I ordered my normal Ugg size and I see from the other reviews that others felt they were true to size. Not sure why, but my heels slipped out when I walked. Returning. Sad face.

First the bad, shoe is on the heavy, clunky side, and after several wearings, still stiff. But, what I don't mind is the lining (on bottom only) so I will go sockless for short trips. Also prim and nest style makes it a keeper, and also worth mentioning, nice and flat. :)

I was looking forward to getting my first "Uggs." Well, I will never order an Ugg shoe again. These Ashdale's were so narrow and tight, I couldn't believe it. I had such a hard time getting my foot in them. I usually wear a medium, but I have no problem with narrow shoes either. These felt like a half size smaller and were so narrow and tight fitting. So, back they went.

I had read all reviews and found the immediate shipping to be true. I normally wear an 8 so I purchased a 7.5. I did not believe I should order up based on my experience with Ugg. I was right. However, the right shoe fit and the left is so large it rides up and down on my heel...a lot. Socks help some but that defeats the Ugg experience at times, in my opinion. Socks distract from the cute shoes, too. So, as much as I do not want to because I love the feel of Uggs and these shoes are cute, I have to return.

I ordered this shoe in a size 9 and the length was correct. It felt okay at first, but after a day of wear, it became clear that this shoe is too narrow across the toes and it gave me blisters. It is a cute rain shoe, made of very thick leather. I don't think that I will ever be able to break these in, and because of the wear on the shoe from my day of wearing them I don't think they can be returned.

The overall style of these shoes are really cute. They are kind of stiff and unnatural feeling and caused me extreme foot pain. So, they are sitting in the back of my closet. I emailed Zappos to see if I can do anything with them as far as returns...so fingers crossed! I felt like they ran true to size, but def are not warm/cozy like other UGG products.

When I first saw these I was excited to find a shoe that would keep my feet dry and warm on slushy/rainy days. I ordered them and wore them right away. They aren't the most comfortable Uggs but seemed like they would break in within a day or two. The first time I wore them, I was prepared to write a raving review. My feet were dry and warm. I wore them again the next day and noticed that my feet were wet. On the side of my feet, my socks were soaked through. I thought maybe some snow got in from the top so I let them dry out and tried again. Same thing. Wet socks and feet. I called Ugg and they said I could send them back to Ugg at my expense to have them "evaluated.". Which means that if they say they leak, then I get a new pair. If they decide they don't leak, I get to keep the defective pair. How's that for customer service! So, I boxed them up, returned them Zappos, no questions asked, and ordered a different shoe. Ugg has been a long time favorite and I've owned several different styles over the years and have always been happy. I have shoes that have lasted 4 years being used for work 3 days a week. That speaks to the quality. Pass on these. They are cuter than traditional duck shoes but just don't work well.

Cute concept. Shoe has good traction in slippery conditions. But the width is completely off the mark. It's weird to feel a shoe pulling away from your foot on the sides. This is the first pair of Uggs for me. Has the company mastered the boot but not the shoe?

I loved this shoe. I wore it just about every day after I received it. However, it does not hold up well. I live in Alaska, so I need a shoe to wear in the cold and snow. After about 3 months of wear, the white part of the shoe has cracked. Not sure if the cold weather factors into the damage, but I can no longer wear them. Three months of use is not enough for the price of this shoe.

They fit great and looked great. The patent leather cracked after the third wear. Shoes are literally falling apart
