I adore these boots. They keep me warm and dry from toe to calf in the cold and crazy autumn winds. I can wear them all day long without my feet aching, which is saying a lot. Two years ago I had collapsing arches after wearing cheap, no support shoes, so the fact that I can walk around in these boots all day long without pain will make me a loyal Keen customer. I've also received quite a few compliments on how they look. I like that the sole isn't as chunky as on other styles. I have not had any issues with bad traction with these boots.

A very comfortable boot! I've worn them a few times so far and no blisters. That's a good thing! I would say they're on the casual side, but you can walk in them for long period of time if you had to. I love the color and find they go with a lot of other colors in my wardrobe. I got the 8.5, which is perfect because that's what I am. I have thick calves and they're not tight. Bonus!

These boots were exactly what I wanted. I love them. I have a high arch so I need to get an insert. Otherwise I was very happy with the width. I have wide feet also. The beautiful leather stretches a little which is good.

I am wearing this boot right now at 2:11 am; it has been on my feet since about 8 am yesterday and my feet still feel great. However, I had to buy a size larger than my true size to achieve this with a medium thickness wool sock. I usually wear 10 wide. I bought this same boot in a lower height in a ten, and it fit fine over stockings or tights, but the first time I tried to wear a sock, I couldn't even put my foot into it. So I ordered the 11 and it is perfect. I haven't had any trouble with slipping but I admit I haven't worn them in icy conditions yet. I have this boot in Forest Night and Oak and like both colors. I heard they were made in purple and since I have a purple coat, I searched the net and finally found a site that still has them. That's how much I like them. I have been wearing them to work with tights and above the knee skirts and have received compliments. Also, I have 17" calves, and at least in this large size, they zip up fine. After a few days of wear I was even able to zip them over jeans.

I have really hard feet to fit. It is difficult to find something comfortable for my long skinny feet, and I just had surgery on both feet. These boots are the best ever! They are so cushioned and the leather doesn't sag around my ankles. No break in period whatsoever. I have skinny calves and ankles, and these boots did gape a bit around the top. But, because the leather is stiff (not in an uncomfortable way, just in a tailored way), it doesn't look bad at all. They certainly aren't as hot as patent leather stiletto boots, but that's the price you pay for comfort. I am ordering them in another color now.

I just love these Keen Bern Baby Bern boots. I wear them almost everyday. They go well with jeans or dresses. They are very comfortable also. I feel like I can walk for miles in these boots without my feet killing me. And of course Zappos made sure that I received them as promised next business day. Zappos' customer service is impeccable!

I love these boots...so comfortable I could walk all day in them. Wear warm socks with them and they are great in cold weather too. If your looking for a boot to keep your feet comfy these are it.

Cute, incredibly comfortable boot! You can dress these up or down, and they perform well in all conditions. I have never spent so much on a pair of boots before, but I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Have been shopping for boots for months and finally settled on the Keen Bern Baby Bern. In my first 2 days of wearing them 4 people commented on how cute they were and one gentleman asked me for all the details so he could order them for his wife for Christmas! I am feeling good about my purchase. They are very comfortable. I ended up going up a size as size 9 was a bit snug for me across the top. I have my own insoles to put in for my very high arches, so I need a bit of extra room. Not only are these good looking but they are functional as well, they kept me warm and were very stable on the ice and snow. The forest color is a deep mossy green - a great alternative to black or brown. Am loving these so far and find I'm picking out my outfits so I can wear these boots!

I bought these boots because I wanted boots that were not only stylish but also comfortable. I cannot wear heeled boots due to an ankle injury. These are just what I was looking for. They are true to size. They will provide non-slip support in the winter. If anything, I wish they were fur lined but I will just wear thick socks! They are worth the money!

The best thing about these boots is that they keep your feet dry no matter what the weather. Also, you can wear them all day from day one.

These boots are absolutely sensational. I bought them because I currently have a broken toe and needed something with a flat hard sole that allows for walking with a broken toe. But I also wanted something that looked cool enough that I'd want to continue wearing them after my toe heals...and as it turns out I will be rockin' these for many years to come! I never thought I would feel "badass" in boots that weren't high heels, but these are amazing! I may get them in a second color. When I was deciding whether to keep these boots I was reading everyone's concern about how tight the calf part felt, well my concern was that when I first put them on, the foot part felt a bit tight, and even though I had traded them a size up (got the 6 1/2 originally, and then got the 7)...even the 7 was still feeling a bit tight on my feet so I was scared that I'd regret wearing them out of the house...well I'm glad I did because they stretched out right away and are a perfect fit now. So basically, if you love them but are concerned with the foot part feeling a bit tight, they do stretch! These boots rule!

I hate to give these boots up but I need something dressier for work. They ran true to size, the dark green was beautiful and the overall quality exceptional. I recently bought a pair of Keen shoes with a strap and I could not be happier. I wore them all day the first day and did not want to take them off! Seriously. And I usually have a hard time finding shoes that fit. I will be looking at Keens first from now on.

I love these boots! They're really comfortable and waterproof and I love the colour. The Huntsman Green is really nice. I got a half size up because I usually do that with boots so I can wear big socks- but I didn't need to do that I don't think. They're a little loose in the ankle. I still think they're great though.

I love these boots! I took them out of the box and walked 1 mile straight to work without any problems. They are very comfortable and are versatile enough to wear with jeans or skirts. My only complaint is that they are taller than I expected. I am about 5'2" and they are almost to my knee rather than being mid-calf. They are also a little bit wide around my calf, but boot socks have helped with that. Overall, I would highly recommend. I have received numerous compliments on them.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis, and it can be hard to find comfortable shoes. These were comfortable from the moment I put them on and remained comfortable for an evening of walking. I don't know if they would hold up for a whole day of standing/walking, but I'm happy with them so far. One drawback: I wish the opening at the top were a little more narrow - the buckles are really for show; it didn't look right when I tried to tighten them. For people with wide calves, this shouldn't be a problem, though.

What can I say? These boots are the 13th pair of Keens I added to my closet... and I love them as well! These are great casual boots, very cute with tights and a fun dress. They are very warm and comfortable. I often find Keens to run a half size small, but these are true to size.

Beautiful and very comfortable! I did a college campus tour with my daughter the first time I wore them, and they were great. The olive color is very neutral and beautiful.

I have been trying to find the "perfect" pair of black boots since last winter and I think I finally did. They are versatile enough to be dressed up or down, extremely comfortable, and weatherproof. I also receive compliments every time I wear them.

I bought these boots for a recent trip to Europe. They are perfect! They are so comfortable that I wore them as we walked all over Paris and the countryside. Having the additional benefit of being waterproof was great as we had a number of very rainy days and my feet stayed warm and dry. Plus they are cute!

I ordered these in the purplie color (an excellent neutral, by the way) and prayed they would fit. I have very difficult, very wide feet with bunions, as well as athletic calves. I ordered a 9.5, which is what I get in all Keens. Well, they do fit, but are tight & snug everywhere. I am wearing them around the house to see if they'll loosen up (as some reviewers have suggested)...and I must say I am already noticing some loosening, although it could just be wishful thinking on my part. Because I really do love these boots, as they feel as if they'll be very supportive once broken in (and I need lots of support, since I am on my feet all day). They are very well made, so the quality is top-notch. Love how they look too (but I wish they were taller; I am only 5'4" and they are a good 2 inches below my knee). I'll post again if they loosen up enough for me to keep. Meanwhile I am thinking about ordering another pair in the black, this time trying a size 10? I've never worn a 10 in anything, so we will see.

These boots are absolutely great! I've had double bunion surgery in the past and basically have a very hard time finding comfortable shoes or boots. These are the nicest-looking casual boots I've found. They look really cute with skinny jeans and will look great with skirts as well. I'm 100% happy with them!

Heavenly! I wear a 8 1/2. I ordered a 9 based on the reviews I read. They are perfect. My calves are 16" and they are perfect. Usually boots are so tight in the calves. These are comfortable out of the box! My foot is normal width to slightly narrow. If you have Wide feet, these may not work for you. I've seen more expensive boots that didn't even compare to the quality of these. Very nice leather and quality inside and out! You will love them!

I have these in black as well. I found them so comfortable that I had to get a 2nd pair.

I work as a bank teller and stand on my feet 8+ hours a day. I have had this job for 17 yrs, and am particular about comfortable shoes. I am telling you, these are fabulous! No sore feet when I wear these boots. Wish I could afford a black pair as well. (I bought the brown!)
