I have very arthritic knees and I also had a bunion and hammertoe surgery one year ago. These shoes have made an amazing difference in my gait and comfort. I have always found Keens to be the best brand for my multiple issues but the Howser by far surpasses any shoe I have worn in the last 8 years. Cute and comfortable as well.

These may look like slippers, but they are wonderful shoes in the rain. My feet stayed warm and toasty dry. I recommend them.

These have to be the most comfortable pair of shoes I have EVER worn. They look like slippers, feel like slippers, but are totally water-proof. I plan to buy the same ones in several colors.

Toasty and comfortable. I did get a blister on my heel the first time I wore these, but am now very comfortable with them.

This is the best shoe-slipper I've ever worn. It is sturdy enough to wear outside when going to the mailbox. It's warm, very comfortable and the rubber soles won't slip even on a wet floor. It even has a modest amount of arch support. I normally wear a 5½ but after reading other reviews I got a 6 and it fits perfectly.

I was surprised at how well these fit when I first put them on my feet. I wore them all day in the house and forgot I had new shoes on. I bought them as camp shoes, something I can slip on easily after hiking all day, keep my feet clean from camp dust, and not get too dusty themselves (like nubuck or suede, which holds dirt). For my boney, unpadded feet, these aren't great for walking very far on rough ground, but would likely be fine for most people. They are perfect for the use intended though, so I'm very happy, and bought a pair for my husband as well! We particularly like the lining. After hiking all day, the feet need a little comforting.

These are great, very warm and with excellent support. I mostly use them as house shoes and they are great in the kitchen. They felt is rubbing off a bit on the insides of the shoes where they rub against each other when I walk. Just the exterior is rubbing off, no holes or structural damage. initially they were tight across the top of my foot next to the opening but they have relaxed and still feel secure.

These shoes are really comfortable but don't fit in any particular niche. Too stiff to be slippers, too low-cut to be show shoes. But once you force them on, they feel great and are really warm.

I like wearing these shoes. The lining is warm and comfortable. The only downside is that the shoes are difficult to get on. Definitely not an easy slip on shoe. However, that is the only negative I have. I like wearing them when it is cruddy or cold out and I don't want to wear snow boots.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. As many reviews stated, the opening is very small and it actually hurt to put on the slippers. So I returned them for half a size larger, and I really like them now. And I can easily get them on and off.

Just what I needed; something that would keep my tootsies comfy when spending hours in the kitchen cooking/baking for hours....then through the cleanup too! Even better that I can run outside to chase the dogs, or meet the delivery person if needed. My only nidge, is that they are a little tough to get on; not much "give"; but once on, they are perfect!

Comfortable, a little stiff around the opening, but loosened up with wear. Very warm and great arch support for a slipper...drawback is the material is pilling and looks tough. I would never wear these in public as others have stated.

These shoes are extremely comfortable! They run pretty true to size but the fit is a bit snug and works for me, but if you wear thick socks, you might want to order up a half size.

Once on your foot, the Howser is very comfortable. My only issue is that I needed to use a shoe horn to get the shoe on, because it's a bit tight on the top. still, a great shoe.

Loved the color and the soft fabric inside. I felt something uncomfortable on the top and change them for a one full size larger.

These shoes are perfect for indoor or outdoor wear if you can get past the fact that it looks like a slipper. (They look good with jeans.) I wear them as my comfy "house shoes", but they're plenty sturdy enough to run errands in, too. They are super-soft inside if you care not to wear socks with them. A great all-around shoe!

I originally had the wool felt version and the felt started to come off after less than two months of wear (as slippers, I don't even wear this outside of the house). I exchanged for the nylon version and so far they seem to be better constructed. Aside from the disappointment in the wool version, these are incredibly comfortable and warm, though the heel is stiff at first, making them a bit tricky to put on. Overall, they don't compare to the Cheyenne, but seem to be a decent replacement for that model.

Very comfortable, like slippers but I wanted a sturdy outdoor shoe. These have comfort but are not sturdy. Not good arch support, especially if you have flat feet.

I have many pairs of Keens. This pair runs small. Otherwise, they're fine. But if shoes are too small, they suck. I didn't bother to keep the box or paperwork, as every other pair of Keens have been fine.

I first ordered a size 10 and they were a little too short. Then tried a 10 1/2 and strangely, the left shoe fit, but the right was too big. This had never happened to me before and I didn't notice it in the 10's, so sent them back. I waited a few weeks and ordered a 10 1/2 again, thinking it was just that particular pair. Either I got the exact same pair again or there is a problem with this shoe. But I love them, so I kept these and wear two socks on my right foot. Sadly, I won't order any more of this brand because this is just too weird.

The color of shoe/slipper is great. The top part of the opening was too tight and after awhile became uncomfortable. I do wear socks with all shoes if possible and that may have been part of the problem. I have high hopes that the opening will stretch out after awhile because I really love the shoe/slipper and did receive lots of compliments. Of course Zappos gets 100 stars for customer service!

I've had these shoes since November and used them daily as a slipper indoors. The wool felting has cracked and lost the felt in two places on the left shoe. I have developed callouses on the tops of my bigger toes on my right foot. I've never had a problem like this before and I've worn other Keen shoes. It seems like the area above the mounds of the big toe is problematic for some people. They're comfortable otherwise but I'm convinced they're the cause of my callouses. I've tossed mine in the trash after only 3 months. I'm now wearing some super-cute Acorns instead.

Love the fit and very comfortable. I ordered the wool version and not happy about how worn out the wool looks already (I have had them about 2 months or less). They look very ratty and old. Recommend nylon instead if you plan to wear them a lot (though the wool is much cuter!).

I wanted these shoes badly but found them pretty uncomfortable. The back of the heel is really hard and I had a blister coming (even with socks) after wearing them for just a little while. I exchanged them for a half-size larger and they were still not all that comfortable, so I returned them. Also, the description said "memory foam" insole so I expected them to be more cushiony inside. Not cushiony at all. Wanted them to wear mostly around the house (to replace my Uggs) but just didn't work for that. Went with a North Face slipper instead.
