Bought the shoe and my foot was too wide to get my foot all the way down. Cute boot, just wrong size. I will be trying a different boot.

I ordered these boots hoping that the reviews about the wide calves of these boots did not apply to me. Unfortunately I was wrong. While the boots are very cute from the front, extremely comfortable and look quite well made, I am returning them. The calves are too wide and from the side, the boots look like rubber fishing boots. A shame 'cause I was really hoping they'd be keepers!

I really want to like this boot but it is way too big in the calf. I don't have stick thin legs and these boots are swimming around my calves. Not what I was looking for in a boot.

I love Keen shoes and own at least 10 pairs...these are great looking boots, but they are really wide all over. If you have narrow heels and/or calves, these will probably not fit you. I was so disappointed!

I read all the reviews before I bought these and decided to try them because I loved the look. I think they are a great cross between cute and tough. The size seems accurate in the foot; however, the calf room is huge all the way down into the ankle. It feels loose and floppy when you walk. I tried them on with skinny jeans: looks great! Regular bootcut jeans: terrible. The shaft of the boot is so large, it stretches the leg of your pants outward. If I paid $20 for these, I might keep them. I know good shoes aren't cheap and although they might be higher quality, I want a better fit for this price. I will be returning them, unfortunately.

As much as I love Keen shoes and boots, I was highly disappointed with the Kaci High boots. I am normally a 5.5 in the Keen product line, and I ordered the 5.5 here as well. The footbed fit ok, maybe a tad big here, but not bad; maybe I needed to go a half size down (which is unusual, because I\'m a consistent 5.5 in the Keens I\'ve owned). However, once I started walking, my heels were slipping, eventually making my socks fall off. There was an unusual amount of room near the ankles, making it feel like I was walking in these boots, not walking with these boots. This large gap in the ankles felt like the boots were a full size too large, maybe more. Also, the calf fit was very large. Granted I am petite, but I am an avid runner and athlete, and unfortunately, I have pretty large calves for my size. But these were large...even with jeans. I was not expecting these boots to be that large all around my ankles and legs...regretfully, I am returning these boots.

Very disappointed in this boot and had to send it back. I had foot surgery back in July and after many months in a hard cast and then an Aircast boot, I was finally able to put real shoes on. One of my priorities was finding a pair of waterproof boots with a sturdy sole I could comfortably walk in if it rained or snowed here. I liked Keen's sandals so I tried two different pairs of Keen boots before I finally gave up and sent both back. the Kaci High Boot was one of them and I found the leather to be hard and rather cheap looking. Not quality leather at all. The zipper didn't zip down far enough to allow me to easily slip my foot into the boot. Worst of all, the vault of the shoe area was too low and the hard leather rubbed against my scars, even with good socks on. All in all, a clunky, ugly, uncomfortable boot.

I did size down. I wear a 10 most of the time but ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit great. I love these boots because they are lightweight and have a little height on the bottom so my pants do not drag on the ground and they also are nice looking and I can wear them all day with comfort.

I bought these for my wife and she loves them. We bought these to replace a pair of North Face boots that were too narrow. These fit great out of the box and just get better with time. Her sisters love the look with skirts and jeans so they don't need to know they are her main chore boots. Only the chickens and dogs need to know. They're warm, functional, and look great. Waterproof is key. Like I said, she loves them.

I was looking for a snow & rain boot to deal with walking through the wintry mix in NYC this season, and at first I was skeptical about whether this boot would work since it's not lined, but I am so glad I decided to keep it. It's extremely comfortable (just like Keen sandals) and the leather is waterproof and very warm. It's definitely big in the calf area (I don't unzip it to put it on unless I'm wearing it over skinny jeans) and not stylish at all, but I'm in love.

I fell in love with these boots the moment I put them on! They felt like an old pair of favorite's right out of the box...hugging my feet like they were custom made. I live in Montana where we have ton's of snow & I have been very impressed with the fact that they really do keep my feet dry. They are also incredibly easy to clean; dried mud etc comes off easily with a damp cloth. There is a liberal amount of room to tuck pants in, and still not too bulky to wear your pants over. This is the first pair of Keen's I have owned, but I am already a huge fan!

Very comfortable boots - have not had to test them in water yet to see how waterproof they are. Good support and look very cute - and wide enough to tuck in your pants even if your calf is a bit wide. And they make your foot look small - I am a size 10 and sometimes boots make my feet look really big. The style on these makes the foot seem small.

Funky, but comfy! This a great boot for someone who wants to keep their feet dry, be able to walk in comfort, have good traction in the snow, and be able to tuck their boot leg jeans in with ease. For warmth you will need to wear wool socks. These boots rock; I did question the funky look at first, but once I tested them out in the snow I fell in love with them.

Couldn't wait to get my new boots! Very grateful that did fit around my big calves, 16 inches, with my pants tucked in, they zipped right up! Very nice boots for getting out in the deep snow. Warm, and very comfortable, the only thing is they run about a half size too small. They don't look as stylish with my pants tucked in as I thought they would, but, all in all, I love these boots! They also seem a bit wide in the heel area of the boot, but I do have a narrow foot, nothing a thicker sock can't fix. If you have average to smaller calves, these boots are probably not for you. Well made, and very comfortable! Just wish I would have ordered a size up. I'm keeping them! Thanks Zappos for your excellent customer service and very prompt delivery! Kudos to all the Zappos team!

I seriously love this boot! I live in Tucson and needed a winter boot for Boston. These waterproof and comfy boots saw me through snow, ice, rain, and slush -- walking several miles each day for nearly a week. Plus they look even cuter on!

I bought a pair of boots for my daughter as a Christmas gift. She exchanged them for these boots and loves them! She lives in Minnesota and says they're warm as toast. She has arch problems and says they are extremely comfortable.

I love these boots! They have a nice wide calf, so I can tuck jeans in, and they don't have to be skinny jeans. They are rugged enough to wear in bad weather. They keep my feet warm in below zero weather.

This boot is the perfect choice for cold, snowy, wet winters. It's truly waterproof and warm, with a well-tractioned sole for icy walkways. Stuck snow releases quickly and easily with a stomp when coming indoors, and the Kaci boot is comfortable enough to wear all day. As with all Keens, the toe box is roomy. The zip-up was simple and smooth for my larger than average calves. Arch support is usually non-existent in boots, so these received a thankful "ahhh" when I first tried them on. I've received many more compliments than expected on my new "cute, different, and chunky" boots. They are now the most comfortable winter boots I own, so I'll be purchasing the brown ones as soon as they go on sale. Delivery from Zappos was within three days, as usual, and returning the half size smaller that I ordered, just to compare the fit and select the size that worked best for me, was a breeze. With Zappos' amazing return policy it makes sense to order two sizes when you're not sure what will work for you. Thanks, Zappos, you continue to make me an extremely satisfied customer who will return again and again. Why shop anywhere else when it's so easy with Zappos?

Love these boots...comfortable, warm, waterproof, great tread. Maybe best boots I have ever owned!

I have a size 6 WW foot with a high instep. I have a very hard time finding shoes and boots that fit. I ordered this pair of Keen boots because it looked wide at the toe box, and had a zipper down the side (easier to get on). I also ordered one size larger than I would normally wear. They fit! I have gotten a lot of compliments on them, and they are comfortable.

I have a pair of size 8 and very wide (EE) feet. I also have a few pairs of Keen sandals and shoes. Keen has outdone themselves with this boot. Right out of box, it hugs my feet nicely, it's comfy, soft (surprisingly) and cute looking. Easy to get in and out. The more I walk with it, the more comfy my feet feel. I am a very happy Keen and Zappos customer.

Finally a boot that actually fit my big calves. Yes, ladies, this is big. It really fits my almost 16 inches calves. I was worried it would have that gap on the heel, so I ordered a 8 (usually I am a 8.5 in boots), knowing Keen runs a bit big. Perfect choice. I have no problem at the heel, the footbed is perfect (arch support is okay, not a Dansko, but I'll survive) and the calf area was a bit tight the first couple of times, but now it fits like a glove. And I put my bootcut jeans inside the boot. And Zappos service is always the best. Can't go wrong with Zappos!

I normally need to send any shoe I order, back, without fail, due to not being wide enough. Even though they are not wide width I thought I'd take a chance. Turns out they are wonderful! Roomy enough for my wide feet, great traction for snowy weather, waterproof - no white snow/salt lines. They are truly a great find.

Great boots! However if you have narrow heels you'll be hunting for thick socks to fill out the back.
