I love 'em! Keens are back. I worried that they had 'sold out,' started making narrow shoes. But this year they are back with lovely wide-toed shoes I can wear. And these boots -- even my kids compliment me on them!

I love these boots. I wear them everywhere, with everything, and I get tons of compliments. They're rugged and fun and comfortable, and I don't know how I ever got on without them.

I was very hesitant to purchase these boots because of the comments referring to calf size. My calves are slightly less than 15" and these boots fit wonderfully. They are super cute and I can definitely wear them under boot cut jeans. I am 5'6" and wear an 8.5 and these boots were true to their size. I can't wait to wear these boots with a skirt tomorrow!

After reading the reviews of this boot, I was definitely skeptical of buying them due to the comments related to the calf area of the boot being too roomy for a small/average size calf. So, I did what any gal determined to get her hands on a really awesome pair of boots would do and got the tape measure out. I measured my own "average" calf loosely at 13.5". I decided it was most definitely worth a try (especially considering Zappos fantastic free & easy return system), & I am so glad I did! These boots fit perfectly & they are super cute & comfy! I have worn them with skinny jeans & also over tights & leggings & they are not too roomy at all - just right in my opinion. They also felt pretty true to size as well. I ordered my normal size 6 & have worn them with both thin & thick socks & been quite comfy. Hope this helps!

Very comfortable and cute boots with that certain style that makes these Keens a dream to wear for people with wide feet, like me - roomy enough for thick socks; warm, stylish and waterproof.

I love these boots! They are exactly what I was looking for and I have looked at several. I don't think that they would work for everyone. I'm 5'9". The boot height is perfect on me. They are chunky and big in all the right ways. I purchased them to wear in our snowy weather. I have already worn them 5 or 6 times with different varieties of leggings, tights, skirts, and dress combinations. I agree with one of the other reviews that they are a little wide to have pants over the top of them. I ordered a 10 and a 10 1/2. I'm normally a 10, but I went for the 10 1/2 because the 10 rubbed weird on my ankles and was slightly shorter in height. With a thick pair of socks the half size up isn't bad. There is lots of room in the calf. I have average size calves and there is room for my hand to fit in with my leg. If you have really thin calves, these probably aren't the boots for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend them.

I just bought a pair of size 40. I wear a US 9.5. I have a 16.5 calf and these zipped right up! Another choice for gals with larger, shapely, calves. So happy! The fit and feel great!\r\n

Love this boot. Fits like a really nice Wellie with a traditional Keen foot bed. Fits my chucking around boot sensibilities.

Wore these boots last week for the first time. I had them on all day and they were very comfy. Loved the way they look with skinny jeans. They are very roomy in the calf area. I don't even have to unzip them to put them on. I have always liked Keen shoes and I am not disappointed with the boot. I am planning on wearing it a lot this winter as I have planned my wardrobe around them.

I love these boots. I wear a lot of Keens, but have not been able to find boots that fit my athletic calves anywhere. These fit with ski socks and jeans. I ordered the same size I usually wear in Keen.

Love these boots. They are true to size, comfortable enough to wear all day, and just darn good looking. I would recommend these to anyone who enjoys wearing boots.

Warning! Brass hardware! Excellent construction...am exchanging because it seems to run large (order size or half-size down) and because the "floral" cutout and brass hardware make it too cute for my industrial preferences. Often with Keen footwear I have to size up from my usual 8.5 to a 9. But this boot fit true to size even with a medium wool sock. The footbed is extremely comfy. In fact, the boots in general are comfy. As many have noted, the shaft is very wide (and I'm a running with athletic calves). Would look silly with tights or leggings. However, very easy to tuck in skinny jeans or even my bootleg jeans (which often can be tucked into boots). I'm not wild about the two gores at the top front of the boot. Overall though I think they're rugged cute and they make my feet look small.

Needed a sturdy warm boot for my long walks. This boot fit well with my boot cut jeans outside or tucked in (I'm 5'3 with average calves). Looks and feels like quality leather to me, they smelled great when I opened the box. They are comfortable to stand in and lightweight compared to my Timberland hiking boots. I am returning them though; I felt my foot was stuck at a 45 degree angle, with my foot off the ground I can't point my toes down and it makes walking in them very unnatural to me, kind of like when you were a kid wearing your parent's shoes. It may be the decorative strap, could be they'd break in just fine but it bothers me enough to try again, love Zappos no hassle returns! I'll never buy shoes anywhere else again. They rock!

These boots are super cute! Love the look and they are very comfortable. I ordered a 7 and they felt more like a 6 1/2. My toe was touching the end of the boot. Also I'm 5'2 and consider myself average size but the boots were way too large for my calves. I could tuck jeans in and would still have excess room to spare. I would love these boots if only the calf part was a little smaller. I think it should be marked wide calf on the listing for sure.

These boots are great. I wear them most days with jeans, because the shoe part looks really cool. I have worn them with skirts as well and they do just fine; not quite fancy enough for super nice skirts, but I like they way they look more casual. They are listed as Medium width, I have crazy wide feet, and the foot beds in these are nice and roomy, I guess that is the Keen brand at work.

I love these boots but they are a half size too large. I know this because I am always a true to size 9. I kept these boots although they slipped in the heel. I brought them to a shoemaker and had a lining inserted to the heel. That helped somewhat. Then I put in Dr. Scholl's thick air pillows. Now they are fine and very comfortable.

Nice comfy anatomical footbed as the laceup shoes by Keen, but these if you run true to size order a half size down. These run big and slip in the back. If they are redesigned in the future I would recommend making the leather around the ankle slimmer. It's too wide.

These boots are so cute for an active boot! The brown color is super-cute, but will work with black due to the prominent black sole. As with all Keen's, they are slightly short, so your true size might be a bit short, but the next size up, could be a bit too big, due to the roomy width. They are super comfortable and useful for a multitude of activities, rain or shine. I tired them on around the house without socks, and they were even comfortable that way! However, they have a slight "mammoth" appearance due to the very wide calf. I usually need an extended calf boot, but these are off the charts. Just depends on your personal taste preference.

I always have a tough time finding boots that will work for me as my calves are very large, especially in comparison to my short (but wide) size 7 feet. Well, I ordered these in a size 8 hoping that they would be wider in the calf than the 15" listed (as my calves are about 16.5" in circumference) which I thought was wishful thinking but to my surprise these actually work for me. The first time I put them on it took some work to get them zipped up and they were very tight but the leather is very soft and high quality and within a few hours of wearing them they stretched to where I can zip them relatively easily and even wear wool socks. They are pretty rugged looking and a bit more difficult to make work than your average high boot, but if you are thinner than me and like the whole skinny jeans look I'm sure they would look cute with jeans. For me with the right skirt, they are cute and very warm. The footbed is incredibly soft and comfortable and the soles look more like hiking boots which will be great if we have snow like we did last winter. Overall, a good buy and I would recommend for those girls like me with athletic calves.

They were just a little too big in the ankle and calves. Bummer I really like them and the insole is super comfy.
