I am a 51 chest , 36 sleeve, and a 40 waist . I always wear. 2XL in all my shirts and tops in general. This product was skin tight with no room at all. It was more like an XL but smaller. I have noticed in the last 3 years north face men's sizes have been smaller and off. Seems I return more than I keep. After this return, I have switched to a competitor who sizes their products correctly, hint , it starts with a "P".

I can't even begin to express my anger on the new Gordon Lyons 1/4 zip for this year. The material is completely thinned out!! And the price is the same!! It's so thin and weak the collar won't even stay in the up position unless almost all the way zipped up! It folds down like a collared shirt!! So not only is it half the material but it looks terrible as well. It's basically unwearable in its new form! Why did this have to happen? What is the excuse for this? And the nerve to charge the same price? This is a sad day for the North Face company to cut corners like this and let down long standing loyal customers. Could not be more disappointed.

Shirt was excellent quality and I wish I could have worn and kept but had to return as sleeves were too long. Size large was perfect in every other way for male 5'10" and 170lbs but way to long in the sleeves.

Very nice style but didn't work at all for my slender teenager who is 6' and 142 lbs. I ordered a small that was too tight at the waist and fit okay in the shoulders. So I returned it and re-ordered a Medium, which fits well at the waist but baggy and loose at the shoulders. My son has worn it once but it is so ill-fitting he hasn't worn it again. What a waste of money!

Style is cool and comfortable, but the North Face's website is just not good at portraying what they are selling. I bough the khaki color, thinking it would be more of a sand color (what the picture on the website looked like). When it arrived, I was surprised to find a dark, coffee colored sweater. I thought that they had accidentally sent me the wrong one...but the color on the tag matched the color on the website. Really disappointed. I have seen this problem with shirts as well, where people will buy them, and get a completely different shirt then advertised. Love North Face products and have worn it for years...not a fan of buying them online and having to return it.

Large around the middle. It would be a great fit for a man who wears multiple thick layers or has a belly. Is that really what "relaxed fit" means? The photo has definitely been cinched at the back. How frustrating. The color is nice and the quality is good. Returning.
