I couldn't comment on the wear as this was a gift for my father, but I was extremely pleased with the purchase. He is very active outdoors (yard work, hunting, hiking, etc.) so I wanted to get him something that he could be warm in and that was versatile enough to wear out to a casual dinner on a cool evening. The texture of this item is like a tight knit sweater on the exterior and fleece on the inside. He loved it.

Really nice jacket. Large fits really good as a shell for me at 6', 170 lbs, though inner fleece seems a bit roomy on its own. Easy to remove and install inner fleece as temperature and needs change. No other complaints as of yet!

This jacket should be enough for any conditions that southeast Texas has to offer. I probably wouldn't take it up north though. The liner by itself is very comfortable and should be good down to 50F. The outer jacket is waterproof and well made to handle any rainy conditions. When the two are coupled together, I would say they would be fine to wear down to 30F. A warm and stylish jacket, but if you want a winter jacket you should go with a Thermoball.

This is a very well made jacket which I was hoping would fit my son who is 5' 11"; the body of the coat fit well, however the sleeve length was too short for him. Too bad this coat was not available in a tall option, as it is a very nice coat and just what my son was looking for.

Very happy with this purchase due to the versatility it offers through several seasons. I do wish the sleeves were maybe half an inch longer.

Love this jacket! It's simple and clean, no nonsense details, and a very functional fit, the only complaint I could think of is the funky zipper/snap hood connection, it works fine, but when the hood is detatched, there is a little zipper half back there.....otherwise 5 star performance from the new Hyvent material, and all the nifty little adjusters, highly recomend to all seeking a nice, simple jacket that works great. The liner is nice alone too, only funky thing is the sleeves are lined....feels good, but gives it a very tailored look...classy and cool...

The product is made of good materials and will keep someone warm while they are outside. Got the winter, additional layers would be needed to stay warm though

I first saw this sweater in a store. When I tried it on, I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and quality. It was also very comfortable. I was looking for something warm and I thought that this was ideal for cold weather because I started getting uncomfortably warm in the store - which told me it would be great outside. When I walked outside wearing it, I was a bit disappointed to find that the sweater does not keep the wind out. It is fine as long as there are no moderate to strong winds. For that, you would need to wear something under it.

This is the 2nd item I've purchased online and again I am disappointed. The quality and comfort is not the issue. The fleece I ordered was described as black, however it is a lot lighter than black; more like a gray. In the process of returning for something closer to the color I'm looking for.

Too loose- wise fitting for my 6-3” 180 pound leaner husband

Everything about this fleece was great. Fit well, material is great quality however the color don't have the same pop or contrast as the pictures on this website as was disappointing. The whites seems like dulled greys, and greys blur into the black fleece. I'll keep wearing it but out of the box it looked like its been washed a few times and lost its luster.

I used the fit selector, but the sweater did not fit me. I normally wear XL, but was advised to order XXL. When the XXL arrived I was bummed out about the fit, so I gave it to my brother. I would say it's true-to-size. Im about 5'7", 250lbs, Muscular/Fat (no belly). The sweater was warm and well constructed. The color was also regular brown and not tan as it appears in the photo.

My husband has about 3 of these in different colors but after a few washes the fabric starts to get little balls on it and starts to look "ratty".

Looks good, nice material. But it inexplicably runs a size small compared to other North Face items I own. I had to return it.

Everyday wear

I bought the Medium Gray Heather and the color was significantly darker than the image on line. The color is not bad mind you - just not as depicted so it was kind of disapointing. I recommend the product itself - just not TNF's website.

I love the style of this jacket but I have large biceps and they would not fit in this style of jacket.

Shady Blue Heather might as well be called Navy and TNF Medium Gray might as well be called Asphalt. Poor representation of the colors on the website. Double checked on 3 different devices and 2 others checked and agreed the colors are much darker than advertised.

The fit was awkward but it would be nice if it wasn't so big looking.

I have 4 north face products all xxl I have noticed within the last few years there sizes have gotten smaller the xxl is not a xxl it's more like a xl if not a L I'm definitely returning this pullover north face pay attention to your sizing
