My first Frye boot and won't be my last! LOVE this boot - purchased in the burnt red - so cute with jeans or cords. Bought my usual size 6.5 and it was perfect. Beautiful and comfortable right out of the box. Constant compliments and questions when I wear this boot - now my only decision is which boot to get next? Great value for what you are getting - Looking at the Melissa Tall Button and the Harness - will be back for more and adding Frye boots to my Christmas wish list for the hubby

Loved the look and style of these boots.The burgundy color is absolutely gorgeous. The leather is soft and plyable and they are very well made. It was difficult for me to send them back after falling in love with how they looked. The fit is true to size but there was an area where the boot and my ankle had a disagreement. The leather turned in ever so slightly at the seam of the ankle. The rub in that area hurt my ankle. Although there was plenty of room in the ankle area, it was how they folded in. Someone whose ankles are not swollen and tender would never notice this, but unfortunately my ankles are affected by rheumatoid arthritis and they were not comfortable for my unique ankles. Frye boots are the best, so I kept trying different boots on until the perfect bootie was found! The staff at the Chicago store were so helpful, knowledgeable and patient in this process!

I just received these in Slate and I love the color. I'd say they're more of a dark chocolate brown which is what I wanted and not a dark gray. The fit a little snug but I know they'll loosen up as I wear them. Also, the size runs just a little big. I'm a 7 1/2 to 8 depending on the shoe and I got the 7 1/2. I have an inch of wiggle room with these boots, which is fine for me. Very beautiful boot! Very happy!

Just received my Melissa shorties in Slate - thought they'd be a lot more gray but they are dark brown. Not a good name for this color. I really wanted a dark rustic gray color so the Ice color is not for me but I'm keeping them anyway. Wearing them around the house before I head out but so far so good. Had a gorgeous pair of Frye boots years ago, the tall camel colored ones with green stitching. So sorry I got rid of them thinking I out-grew them. Would have loved to have them now! These are very well made and sturdy. Being I live in South Florida, it'll be hard getting used to wearing anything but flip flops but I love them!

I really like these boots & the ice color is perfect

I love these boots so much they match everything, dress up any outfit, and are so comfortable to walk in.

Bought these a month ago, wear them several times a week. They are super cute, comfortable, and I get tons of compliments on them. I'd like them in brown too! Wore them all day at work the first day I got them and my feet didn't hurt at all at the end of the day. Love them!

So great my mom kept both colors I purchased for her. They run true to size and are very comfortable boots. Beautiful leather detail. Can be dressy or casual. The cut of the top of the boot is very flattering for all leg types, doesn't make them look bulky or make your legs appear to be short and stumpy. Awesome boots. The only thing I didn't like was the slick bottoms. I almost wiped out so many times but it's $30 to have a better sole put on them from a shoe place. Overall worth your purchase. Will last years to come as with all my frye purchases! Just pay attention to where they're made! I've had good luck with made in Mexico. I try to steer clear of made in china I don't pay the big bucks for that!

I have just received these boots today.... They r stunning, this is my 2nd pair of free boots. Worth every penny.

Love these boots. Bought them in Cognac. The color is so classic and classy. They fit true to size and just get softer and more formed to your feet every time you wear them. Need them in black too!

I've never owned a more quality product in my 37 year old life. I'll never buy another brand again "Frye for Life"
