I bought a pair of these a year ago on the advice of a friend. I've worn them three times a week, for 13-14 hour ER shifts, and they are just now showing signs of wear. I don't know about "toning" but they sure held up well to abuse, and they're incredibly comfortable/supportive. Thinking about buying another pair to replace them.

I've had these shoes for over a month now and I love them. I walk about an hour every day as part of my commute so I wanted a comfortable walking shoe. Honestly, I don't feel any difference in my muscle activation between these and any other walking shoe I've had (this is my first "toning" shoe). However, they're super comfortable and cute, so I would recommend them to anyone. I get compliments on them all the time. And, who knows, maybe I am somehow magically burning more calories when I wear them!

I love these shoes. Although they clearly tone and have every perfect quality of the toning shoes, they don't have the ugly look of the round shoes, or that uncomfortable feeling! They are so comfortable and look great!

I really like these shoes! I do a lot of walking and they feel comfortable and lightweight. Because I wear a 12, these shoes do not make my feet look huge. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have worn these shoes while doing treadmill walking, but recently with the warmer temperatures, I took my walking outdoors and wow! I have to say that I felt muscles working in places I hadn't felt before. The shoes are comfortable and stylish...here's to a better backside and legs!

These are the best shoes I've ever bought. Period. They're extremely comfortable and give me great stability when I'm working out. They're so light on my feet! I never want to take them off.

I love these shoes. Super comfortable and I've noticed that my legs feel a little sore (in a good way) after wearing them all day. So, who knows if they are actually toning, but at the very least, they are comfortable and cute! Ran a bit small, got a 1/2 size bigger than usual.

I really have enjoyed the look and feel of these shoes. They are very comfortable and never have had any adjustment period. I get compliments all of the time for men and women about the style. You know that is something if a guy notices!

I didn't purchase this shoe because I was looking for a toning shoe, I just happened to like the look of the shoe and was looking for a comfortable and flexible walking shoe. And I found it in this shoe! They are light, flexible, supportive, and the balance technology of the shoe is an added bonus!

When I ordered these, I liked the way they looked. Modern, fresh and fun. I also have owned New Balances before and found them a good shoe. I had no idea that they were toning shoes. Certainly not the style of the moon shoes of other toning shoes. I've now had them for 2 weeks and love them. I wear them all the time. I ordered the wider shoe, for my post-pregnancy feet and they are wonderful. I would highly recommend them.

Thank you Zappos, once again a speedy delivery. These shoes are rockin'. I have just accomplished 2 days of work in them. I work as a CNA and do at least 2 miles a day at the nursing home. The toning feature is great my thighs and calves were sore the next day. I have received many compliments on the style also. Thank you!

Love these shoes. They are so comfortable. I have knee problems and when I walk any distances at all my knee hurts, with these I can walk alot longer before my knee starts to hurt.

These sneaks are so comfy! After walking around a few days in them you really feel it in your legs. It also helped me in my workouts - they are light and really feel great! Plus, very stylish.

Totally awesome. Never expected to actually feel and see the results so quickly. No joke! My butt looks the best it ever has! I'm 30 and always had a very flat rear-end, no matter my weight. Now I have a cute, round tush, and is on the taut side, as opposed to flabby.

I ordered the black and gray color option and love it! They don't look like a toning sneaker which is what I was looking for. They are comfortable and fit well. The laces are awkwardly long but you can either cut them or just double knot. Zappos delivery was quick and painless. Definitely going to shop here again!

Love them. I have a big foot and can never find shoes in my size. I either wear them a half size too small or too big. These are perfect.

These are amazing! Super comfy and the slight off center on the sole is just perfect. I felt it in my legs the next day after I wore them - just a slight muscle tightness - letting me know they were working. The sold is a little thicker in the middle, causing you to use more balance. Love them!

These fit really well, and I was able to walk two miles in them the first time I wore them with no problem. I notice subtle muscle activation, and am holding in my core more consistently with these.

This shoe is narrow. My toes felt squished. I ordered three pairs until I found the perfect fit. Zappos has an excellent return procedure. You should order these in wide.

I can only speak for my own feet, but I have very high arches, heel spurs & osteoarthritis in my knees. My doctor just injected my knee with hylarin & I thought stronger muscles in my legs would help. I got these TruBalance & they did help. They immediately made me have much less pain from the heel spurs & I believe they are helping with my knee, too. I just wish they had more interesting color choices. These are also the only walking shoes I can find widely available in "wide".

I am so happy with these shoes! My left foot is a bit wider than my right foot so I ordered the Wide width in my size and they feel like I am walking on a cloud! I highly recommend these shoes!

I love this shoe! Not only is it really comfy on my Fred Flintstone feet, but I think this grey-blue combo is slenderizing. I am normally a 9.5 D or E... I got a 10 D and they fit comfortably, so I would go a half size larger than normal.

I bought these shoes for my mom as a christmas present. Only suggestion if someone has wide Fred Flinstone feet get a half size bigger. My mom loved the shoes and said the next day her thighs and butt was sore. Great for walking.

This sneaker is great. True to size and it feels like you're walking on air. Also, as usual, Zappos exceeded my expectations with shipping time. I chose standard shipping and received the package the next day!

I have enjoyed my New Balance shoes very much. I have wide toes and a narrow heel, so I sometimes have difficulty finding shoes that fit well. These were comfortable from the moment I put them on. The only complaint I have is that they are thin so I can feel cold air on windy days.
