Tried an 8 first and was too tight, went up a half size to 8.5 and they were huge!

I really love the look of these shoes, but they are super narrow. Couldn’t even get them on. If you have narrow feet, go for it. They were lovely.

Beautiful shoes, but with my bunion and need for strong arch support these just wont work. Ballet flats are practically impossible for me but I keep trying. Lovely leather and there is a bit of arch, so enjoy them if you can.

This is a beautiful shoe and I love the blue color. Unfortunately, it did not fit me well. It was too wide overall and felt very loose on my foot. It does not come in a narrower width, so I have to return it.

LOVED THE COLOR. FOUND IN BROWN CATEGORY BUT MORE LIKE A LODEN GREEN. I WISH THEY FIT. THE 9 WAS TOO SMALL AND THE 9.5 TOO BIG.

I really liked the look of the Frye flats, but they did not fit me. The 9.5M was a bit too short, but the 10M would have been too big. So I had to return them.

These shoes seem to have a lot of variation in size and construction. I tried the black on in a store, and my regular size (8.5) was actually a bit small but the 9 was so large that I literally walked right out of them. I fell in love with the golden silver color and decided to take a chance and order them. The 8.5 fit perfectly. They also seemed sturdier than the black, and they may take a bit of breaking in. The color, though, is perfect—very neutral metallic. A lot of reviews mention the slippery soles. The leather will be easily scuffed up on concrete, or it’s pretty easy and inexpensive to put a non-skid pad on the bottom. Overall, I think it’s just a roll of the dice on the sizing and the texture of the leather. They are really cute, though, so I think they are worth the gamble, especially given Zappos amazingly easy return process.

The pair I was sent seem to have been previously tried on by someone’s too large right foot. The right shoe was very loose and the leather actually looked like it had taken the shape of someone else’s toes. While the left shoe did not look misshapen at all and was just a tad tight at the ball of my foot. If I had liked them better I would have exchanged them for the exact same shoe in the exact same size. I will be returning them for four reasons: The front of the shoe ends at a point where you can still see my toes and that would cause the edge of the shoe to rub in a spot that would give me a blister if I were to wear them. The outer soles of the shoes are slippery. I don’t like the look of the leather in person. The inner sole of the shoe felt uncomfortable. On the plus side, the leather seemed of good quality. If this pair hadn’t been tried on by someone who’d stretched the right shoe I am pretty certain that the sizing of this shoe would have been quite accurate.

I liked these simple ballet flats, but the sole was just way too slippery! I consistently wear a 7.5 in shoes, but I felt the 7 was the right size and the 7.5 would be too big. I have very high arches and a slightly wide toe box, so these made my feet look a little chunky and silly. I miiiiiight try them again in another color though (I tried black).

These shoes are good quality but stiff. Very little arch support. Also the pair Zappos shipped appeared to have been worn. They will go back.

I’m glad I could make these comfortable by adding gel inserts. Otherwise they were a little big all around—I wear a 10B. Yes they are slippery but I will rough them up with pumice. I like the neutral taupe.

I bought the denim-suede Carson. Really cute shoe, but there is absolutely no cushion to the shoe and it feels like it could slip off very easily. I will keep them, because they are cute, but I will be careful not to wear them when I will need to be on my feet for a long period of time or will be walking any significant amount.

I have been eyeing this shoe for a long while and when one of the colors went on sale, I bought it. Even though I love them because they are elegant and well-made, they are not the most comfortable shoe. That said, I do like them a lot, but they are taking some time to break in. I have worn them around the house for two days to make sure that they stretch and mold to my feet. I ordered 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size and the next shoe size would have been too big. However, they are a bit narrow and stiff. So even though I dock points for comfort, they are beautiful and I will keep them. The color (sage) is deep and rich. The leather is great quality ... and like I said, they look beautiful on either for casual or professional occasions.

Nice Fry leather, cute style. Smaller toe box than some. Completely flat base and a little stiff. If I were the type to "break shoes in", I might have kept these, but I'm not.

These flats are great, but I'm always worried about slipping because the bottom is smooth and there's no tread.
