The 7.5 felt like it would be too short at first, but the width was spot-on. Now the leather has stretched and broken in, and they fit like slippers. Beautiful, supple, and cut perfectly. The curried leather is a great color.

Fantastic! The leather on these flats is so soft! They feel like slippers which is hard to find in flats as most will find a spot on your foot to dig in but not these! Great all day comfort for work, not a lot of support as is to be expected of flats! All in all a great buy! I went with mustard yellow and love them! Not too bright of a color but just enough to be noticeably on trend, especially paired with a chunky mustard yellow necklace! Will definitely have these for years.

I love these shoes. I have high arches, and these shoes have no arch support, but the leather and shape is so soft that they allow for comfort anyway. I have long feet for my height, and sometimes wearing flats can make them look like boats, but these shoes are so cute you don't notice. I teach for a living, and wearing these all day present no problems at all. I'm getting ready to buy my 3rd pair. And there is no end in sight.

I ordered the Carson Ballet flat in the Rose Gold metallic in a 6.5 and they fit like a glove. But, here's the kicker the left shoe felt just a smidgen short, however the right was perfect. I decided to order a size 7 only the Rose Gold was sold out in a size 7 so I decided to try the Silver multi metallic (it had an odd cream color to it). The 7 was comfortable, but on the advice of a cobbler I decided to stick with the 6.5 because it will stretch out and the 7s would be too big in the end. Since they are flats I wasn't disappointed that their was no arch support. And as a bonus, if you have slightly wider feet, these flats are great!

These shoes are gorgeous but they don't fit right, and I can't tell why. The length is perfect put they won't stay on, as if they're too wide. I usually wear a 7 or 7 and 1/2 M width, so I bought the 7M. I'm afraid the 6 1/2 will be too short, but I'm going to try them. If they are (too short), I'm out of luck, I guess.

Amazing shoe! I love the color and the feel of the leather. And as the other reviewers have indicated, it truly does fit like a glove from the moment you take them out of the box. I found size 8 (normally 8.5) fit much better on me. The sole is slippery, but that's easily remedied. I purchased them in curry as well, but plan on buying other colors for sure!

Oh these are lovely. Silver Multi-metallic isn't loud and flashy, it's subtle and beautiful. Fit seems true to size but sadly my long thin feet don't work in ballet shoes. Otherwise I'd love to keep them! If only I sat all day and was carried around vs standing and walking.

These are the perfect flats. I got them in the antique red and love it. Some reviewers have said that the soles are super slick, which they are indeed. I think once I wear them for a few hours outside the house that will go away. The other complaint I have read is lack of arch support. Come on, people, they are flats, not sneakers. The size was perfect. I am a 9M and they fit like slippers. They are comfortable from the get go. The toe is slightly rounded, not too round, not pointy. I cannot wait to order more colors.

I love these! Buttery soft and comfortable right out of the box! I hesitated about paying such a hefty price for a pair of flats, but these are well worth it! I got the red, and it's a deep red (not bright). They are just perfect! Can't beat the quality of Frye's!

I got these shoes yesterday and I am already wearing them today. They are so soft and amazing and will take no breaking in time! They are also cover your toes, so there's no "toe cleavage" as I like to call it. The only complaint is that the bottoms are SUPER slippery and need to be "scratched-up" to be worn without sliding all over the place. I also am between a 9.5 and 10 and ordered the 9.5 and they fit great. Hopefully they won't stretch out too much!

These are gorgeous shoes, but I am a consistent 8M and these were simply too small. It kills me to return them! They are also very slippery.

Overall, this is a well-made and really beautiful shoe. It doesn't look or feel cheap. You can tell it's well made and the color is terrific. It will go with anything. The problem I had with this shoe (as with all Frye shoes) is that it runs very small. I am normally a size 7.5-8. I read all of the Zappos reviews before purchasing this shoe. I have purchased Frye shoes before and always find the fit to be really "off". After reading that this shoe runs a bit on the larger size I decided to buy a size 7.5. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. It was miniscule. I have returned the 7.5 and am now awaiting a size 8.5. Hopefully this size will work.

These shoes are very pretty. Per suggestion of a friend, I ignored review advice to order a size up. They were snug, but I wore them around the house with socks for a few hours, and they fit great now. Not a great shoe for heavy walking, but just right for around town.

Hooray! This is the sixth pair of flats I've tried and finally ones that work for my slightly narrower foot with longer toes. I like that they have a roomy enough toe box without looking orthopedic or manly. The leather is great and I can't wait to wear them! The bottoms, being leather, are super slick, so I'll either scuff them up or put some tape across the bottom until they show a little wear. Wish they weren't so expensive, but I may get several more, now that I know there is a flat that will work for me!!

I am in between sizes, I usually wear a 6.5 or 7. Based on the reviews, I bought a 6.5. They felt a little snug out of the box, but the soft leather stretched within 30 minutes of wearing them. They feel great and I highly recommend the Carson flat!

The Frye Carson Ballet are the best flats ever. I have two pairs now. They have become a 'thing' amongst myself and my friends. I have another friend who has four pairs. They are super comfortable and look great with everything. The leather is extremely high quality and every pair is unique. They are pricey but what you are paying for is quality (as with all Frye shoes/ boots). I have a pair in one size and another color in a half size smaller. I find that if you are in-between sizes, go with the smaller size because the leather is supple and will stretch in just a few wears. However it won't stretch enough when you are just trying them on around the house, trying to gage your size. My larger pair fit perfectly when I tried them on around the house, but after a few wears to work, I had to buy shoe back grips because now they are on the large side. The "Rose Gold" color is awesome in person -it's both silver and gold at the same time and goes with everything. It's like a shiny neutral. The "Smoke Leather" color is also very versatile. It's a really nice desaturated brown that also goes with just about everything. The solid colors are more supple leather than the treated/ weathered styles, but I think that's a given.

These are so cute, I bought another pair in a different color. I have really narrow feet, so I added a leather "loop" at the heel and ran a cord through it, although these are so soft and form-fitting, I almost didn't need to do that. Also, I think most Frye styles run slightly narrow.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box! I wore them walking all day around Newport and no blisters! I have size 9.5 -10 wide low arch feet and I ordered size 10 and they are perfect. Will buy in more colors. Flats never fit my feet right, but after reading the reviews I decided to take a chance. So happy! I bought another pair of Frye's, the flat with the studs, very nice, but the leather is stiffer and required breaking in on my wide feet. Very high quality!

Finally a pair of flats that offer true comfort, style and a versatile color that goes with everything for the fall. I purchased them in smoke leather. They were true to size, didn't rub at the heel and the color goes with everything. I wish they came in a pointier toe. Disclaimer: You will have to purchase no-slip stickers for the bottom of the shoe because they are slippery. I love these shoes.

These shoes are fantastic. I love them. I have the violet and I get lots of compliments on the color, which I wear with a lot of different outfits. They are very comfortable too, and have never given me a blister. I wore them while walking all around NYC, too. HOWEVER, I did take them to my cobbler like a previous review suggested, and had them put a thin black rubber sole over the leather. Now they aren't slippery (which they were, very) and they feel like they will last a whole lot longer. The stitching on the sole had started to disappear after one day of wear before I had the rubber put on. It is a quick fix if you have a cobbler in your town. Worth it for such great flats.

I love these flats. I am typically a Nike and Dansko girl so flats are a new thing for me. I am a long distance runner so I need to keep my feet blister and chafe free, these have lived up to that expectation. Considering the lack of solid arch support they are quite comfortable and took no time to break in. I've had them for about 8 months and like them more and more every time I wear them. They are super versatile too... can wear them with jeans, shorts, dresses. The one down side is that they have no traction and I did slip on a sloped sidewalk and ended with a serious tail bone bruise for the past 6 months... ouch! They are becoming quite loose the more I wear them so if they are tight at first don't worry they do stretch to your feet in time. I bought the black pair and will be getting a pair in brown in the near future.

I have been searching for a pair of comfortable and stylish ballet flats that have minimal arch support, supple leather and a round toe to accommodate my wide width feet. When I received these, I knew I struck gold. Amazing in every way. I'm so glad I ordered them in two colors!

I love these flats and wear the Silver Cracked Metallic color just about every day. I wish I could wear heels, but my feet are just not trained for them. Wearing these shoes makes me feel stylish and they are so comfortable too! I also think they look expensive so I feel fabulous rocking them every day with a pair of skinny jeans or at a gallery opening in black capris. I'm in between a size 9.5 and 10 (depending on the shoe sizing) and I still had to order a 10 for the shoes to fit, but over time (with my daily wear) the leather has become roomy. They still fit fine, but they do flop off when I'm driving my husband's stick shift truck (I know that must sound random!). I'm waiting for Forest Antique Soft Full Grain to come back in stock and will buy those next. The leather bottoms have held up fine with daily wear, though they can be slippery on a flat surface. You will love them!

I got these in black, and I could wear them just about every single day in a variety of occasions. I LOVE Frye boots, and I love, love, LOVE these flats! They are worth the price and will last me for many years to come. I found they are exactly true to size. I would buy more colors if I could afford it. My only hope is that they ever go on sale.
