This is a very comfortable ballet shoe, it does not gap at arch, and looks good dressed up or down. Zappos always comes through with their speedy delivery.

Love these shoes. As usual, Frye delivers on quality and durability, not to mention style. Living in a large, urban city where I walk A LOT, I've learned not to skimp on shoes. Most flats disintegrate within a month or two - but these are really holding up. Super soft, amazing sole, great color. Would DEF recommend this to anyone looking for quality and style.

Love this adorable, well-made flat! It is completely worth the price tag (as I have found all Frye shoes to be). I ordered a half-size down (as a few suggested) and it seems to work fine on my larger foot. I have a little bit of a wider foot, which sometimes makes certain brands of round toe ballet flats a little tricky, but the shoe has enough form that it holds together well (ie: my foot is not coming out on the sides). I got the yellow, which will be perfect with all of my spring and summer bare leg clothes! As always, Zappos customer service rocks too!

These are super cute and comfortable! I am a 7 1/2 or 8; based on previous reviews I ordered and 7 1/2 and it fits perfectly. The silver leather is gorgeous.

These are the perfect flat. Awesome on dance floor. Conform so well to your foot and are comfy!

I bought these shoes with this year's tax refund - they would normally be way out of my budget - and I am so glad I did! They are the perfect flat. The shape is perfect and they are the only flats that I have ever owned that do not rub my feet in any way. Besides the fact that they are expensive, these shoes are amazing. And I love Frye!

Definitely size a 1/2 to full size down for this shoe. I always wear 9 in flats, but 9 in this shoe is way too big. I can fit 4 fingers in the back while wearing these. Besides the fit issue, these are adorable! I've been looking for the right flats for a long time because I'm very picky with the look and comfort of shoes. I got the fawn color and they aren't too light. More like a dark tan/cardboard color. I really like the quality and how they feel.

These are my favorite shoes ever. Not only are they very cute, they are so comfortable. The leather is very soft, and I love the leather soles. I read other reviews saying they stretched after wearing, so I bought a half size smaller, and they are perfect. I have worn them almost every day since getting them, and in fact bought a second pair for when these wear out. Truly amazing shoes.

This shoe has been great for me. I work retail, so I'm standing for at least 8 hours a day, and these are the first flats to remain comfortable throughout the day. I got the fawn, and I like them with brown, gray, and black outfits. They stretch a little, but I ordered my normal size and it ended up being perfect for my bunions. These are the best flats my poor, messed up feet have ever worn.

Great simple flat! I got them in berry and they are a really cute dark pink. Unfortunately I'm going to have to return them for a half size larger. In most brands I'm usually an 8.5 or 9. In my Frye Carson boots I wear a size 8 with room to spare so I went with an 8 in these as well. I kept expecting them to stretch more but after trying to break them in for over a week and I'm giving up the fight. the size 8's are too small. I already wore them outside so I'll have to give them to my sister. I do love the shoes though, and I'll be purchasing another pair in an 8.5.

Awesome casual simple flat! I got the dark brown. A beautifully rich brown. Reading the reviews I ordered a 1/2 size down from my regular size 9. The 8 1/2 was too short so I ordered a size 9. I have a narrow heel which can be a problem with heel of the shoe slipping off.

These shoes are very comfortable! I usually have bad luck with flats -- they almost always pinch my feet. These are great, though! The sole is slippery, but I haven't had a chance to add a grip to them and I haven't fallen yet, so it's not too bad!

These shoes are rad and really well made. \r\nAdvice, order half size down. \r\nAlso, get your cobbler to put some thin soles on them, as the leather is slippery and the shoes will last a lot longer, too.

I purchased this in three colors and I think they are all just grand. The fit is fantastic and I like the side slope and the pancake heel. I spent my college days in Frye boots and I was pleased to find cute shoes in great colors.

I love these shoes! I wanted a comfortable little flat that didn't kill my feet (Tory Burch). These are great! Super soft leather molds to your feet! No break in time. Leather sole is a bit slick, but I guess that is to be expected. Very happy with all of my Frye purchases!

These shoes are the best thing since sliced bread. I am a hard walker who lives in New York City, so I break holes through shoes like I drink water. I have very sensitive feet, and these shoes are comfortable right out of the box. The leather is like buttah. They felt a little tight at first, but as you wear them, they mold to your feet. These are the kind of shoes that are worth getting resoled after wearing them out. This is probably the best shoe investment I ever made. Hooray!

So feminine, understated and pretty besides comfortable. I've been looking for a pair of plain ballet flats for a while now--a long while. When I saw these, I knew that the search was over. Normally wear a 5.5 and ordered that size. They fit perfectly.

A very beautiful shoe. I had to order a size smaller than usual to get a snug fit that doesn\'t slip right off. The back of the heel slumps down a little bit from the softness of the leather. It doesn\'t affect the fit at all. It\'s just a visual thing, but not enough to pass up these beauties. Very nice quality, and they have that wonderful leather smell. I have a gravel driveway and am noticing that the sole is getting worn quickly from walking on it, so I may have to change into them in the car! But all that said, I do love these beautiful shoes, and if I avoid the gravel, I think they will last a long long time.\r\n

Frye shoes usually run 1/2 a size big for me and these flats are no exception. I ordered my normal size 9 and an 8 1/2 just to be sure. The 9s were way too big and at first the 8 1/2s felt too small. I almost returned them. I wore them a few more minutes and they stretched enough to be perfect. I wore these shoes all over San Francisco streets and rocky view points and found them to be very comfortable. I am very picky about comfort and have sensitive heels and had no problem with these shoes. They don't have arch support but my arches didn't hurt or cramp at all. Very nice!

This ballet flat is adorable and the blue is beautiful. I had to send them back since I have a tiny heel and putting in heel bumpers never works for me. Otherwise, they fit true to size or perhaps a smidge bigger.

"Lilac" smooth leather style is my sixth pair of FRYE CARSON BALLET FLATS and everything I expected: Excellent quality, style, and fit. Four stars for disappointing color. Not at all LILAC but not really taupe or beige. ZAPPOS offered at considerable savings - I'm keep to wear with jeans and maybe Chino shorts. Photos with flash and natural light to show color. Beautiful flat; gorgeous color (cognac) but CRAZY narrow. I have the most average feet on the planet...and consistently a 7.5 in Frye. Length is fine but width...no way. Other reviews claim these are ready to wear all day out of the box. I would disagree. Leather is beautiful but tough and would need breaking in.

I really like the simplicity of these. I\'ve wanted a ballet flat without embellishment (bows, flowers, etc.) and since I have 3 other pairs of Frye shoes and feel confident in the brand I thought I\'d give these a try. I ordered them in the dark brown in my usual size 7 and they fit great. The sole is a little slippery, even indoors, but hopefully once I wear them outside they\'ll scuff up enough to have some traction. That\'s my one complaint with Frye shoes-- the soles are always very smooth, shiny, and slippery and I have babies that I carry around and really don\'t want to slip and fall because of my shoes! Overall these are just what I have been looking for and I look forward to them conforming to my feet and becoming even more comfortable than they are out of the box. I may even come back for a second pair-- after I snag a pair of Frye\'s great looking oxfords.

For the first six weeks that I owned this shoe, I loved it, but it stretched out to the point of being pretty much unwearable. Ladies with wider feet: these are beautiful, comfortable, durable, supportive shoes. Ladies with narrow feet, especially narrow heels: beware these shoes. Look at the Regina or the Emma from Frye instead. If you do purchase these shoes, avoid the nubuck, which apparently stretches more than the regular leather (according to the Frye salespeople). I purchased these shoes from the Frye flagship store in Soho (NYC), so I had a chance to try them on before I bought them. They fit beautifully in the store, and I loved that they could be resoled. I wear a 9 or a 9.5, and I bought the black nubuck ones in a 9. I took them on a trip and wore them all day, every day, walking in them for miles, and they felt great. I almost bought another pair in another style. BUT. I am very glad I didn't. Now, after having had them for less than two months, they have stretched out so much that I was constantly stepping on the backs of the shoes when I walked and squashing the leather. I took them to the Frye store and found out that the warranty didn't apply to stretched out shoes, only to broken shoes. (The salesperson there told me that the nubuck stretches more than regular leather because it's softer.) I took them to the cobbler who braced the backs with some stiffer leather, and now they are somewhat more wearable. But I shuffle when I walk in them. They are not very appropriate for professional wear because they are now too big. Because I really need a pair of black dress flats, I bought the Regina ones, also from Frye. They are much narrower, and the heels are stiffer, so I think they will fit better in the long run. They require more breaking in, but I think that means they will actually fit in the long run. Ladies, if you have narrow feet and are reading all these reviews and notice the ones that say this shoe is really loose, accommodating for wide feet, doesn't have lots of structure, etc., and are asking yourself if it will be a problem in the long run, as I did: yes, in my experience, it will become a problem. But the Regina ones are better. The salesperson at the Frye store told me that the narrowest flats Frye makes are the Emma style, so you might try those, too.
