I like these a lot, even though they cost more than any other shoes I’ve ever had. They are somewhat tricky to put on though and the best advice I’ve seen was in the comments here, which was to roll the top half down and put them on and then roll the top half back up.

These are all-day boots that work with skinny jeans or skirts. So comfortable and fits my custom orthotics and my thin legs. Yay!

I just received my order and I am in love! I’ve been on the fence about buying the 5050 all these years. I have the lowlands and the tielands, which are fabulous. I finally hit the bullet and bought these. I put them on as soon as hubby brought the package in. It’s hard to put on SW boots, however once on, it fits like a glove. The Napa leather is beautiful and I can’t wait to wear them out!

I own multiple ST OTK boots and this one is my least favorite. Lol I like the Tieland and Harper versions better but thats because I prefer a heel with my boots. The 5050 are nice boots - not really made for women with wide calves and don’t recommend trying them on if you do have wide calves. This runs 1/2 size big. I have average sized calves (14-14.5 in calf circumference) and plan to only wear these with skirts and dresses. I think it would be too tight and uncomfortable putting these over jeans or thick leggings. I find these are difficult to take on and off but you can fold the shaft like you are putting them on like a bootie and that seems to help. I find the ST boots to be massively overpriced and marked up. Got these for less than $200 brand new on another retail site so that made the purchase “worth it.” I could never fathom paying full price for them though.

I have enjoyed this same boot for several years but could no longer get them on. I ordered a larger, wider size and still can't get them on. I think my very favorite boots are not working for my old feet and hands.

This is my third pair of Stuart Weitzman The 5050 Boot, I bought the "Slate suede/ suede elastic". While I love the color very much, the material (both front and back) is thicker than the two pairs I bought previously, so the fit is not as stretchy or comfortable. They do look great on, but sadly I'll have to return them.

Its weird. I have a large calf and small feet. based on the reviews, I ordered true to my size, 5.5 due to my large calf. So it came in battered box, but that's ok, then I walked on it, the feet area was fine, its comfy and lots of space, the calf part was also fine, but the ankle part was not. It 's snug and after a while I couldnt have it any longer. I really want to love this pair, but I had to return them.

I am so happy with these boots. I get compliments every time I wear them and I feel fabulous.

These boots are a great look and fashionable. Thigh highs have been a fashion staple since the 60's,and these are an update. I will have to say the color of the leather (black) and the stretch rub off on your hands as you pull the boots on. It washes right off and I plan to only wear with dark colored skirts, pants, leggings- coats with the boots. That being said they look great and there is no need to size up or down order the size you normally wear if you have an average foot. I order a 7 (I have a narrow foot and order a medium) I have high arches and it fits perfect. I have room for a pair of bamboo socks not thick winter socks. If you want to wear thick socks then .5 size up. They are snug around the calf at first hence the color rubbing off as I pulled them on. My pair arrived without its shoe box, but Zappos representative made sure to correct this. Great customer services is why I keep returning to Zappos for my fashion needs.
