I had read other review stating that these worked for people with 17" calves, so I assumed at 16 1/4" calves (when sitting and flexed) these would work for me, sadly they did not. Even on a bare leg, they were much too tight to be comfortable and the excessive tightness caused them to bunch at the ankle (because I couldn't pull them up far enough. They are an absolutely beautiful boot, but in addition to the calf not fitting me comfortably, I ordered the wide width and they were not wide at all. I dont normally require a wide width but wanted to wear a thick ankle sock with these, as they felt very much like a standard width boot to me. Sadly I had to return them, otherwise the style and leather is beautiful, they are really just not for people with wide feet or wide calves, IMO, they just aren't.

I had some sizing issues with these. I had the black nappa leather ones and decided to get the suede. I'm usually an 8 (or 8.5) but I fit the 7.5 in the black nappa so I got the same size for the suede ones but they were a lot tighter and seemed a tad shorter in the foot. I don't know if they just weren't stretched out yet (black nappa ones I got from a department store so may have been tried on several times and stretched over time)...but I had to return the suede ones because they just felt too snug going 1/2 size down. Going to try my usual size 8 and see if those work better.

Stunning, sexy...and comfortable! My only complaint is that they are ridiculously expensive. If they were between 200-250, I would buy them in every color. However, I have them in the dove grey and have had them in the black suede. Loving the maroon, navy and brown, though.

This is my third pair of Stuart Weitzman The 5050 Boot, I bought the "Slate suede/ suede elastic". While I love the color very much, the material (both front and back) is thicker than the two pairs I bought previously, so the fit is not as stretchy or comfortable. They do look great on, but sadly I'll have to return them.

Its weird. I have a large calf and small feet. based on the reviews, I ordered true to my size, 5.5 due to my large calf. So it came in battered box, but that's ok, then I walked on it, the feet area was fine, its comfy and lots of space, the calf part was also fine, but the ankle part was not. It 's snug and after a while I couldnt have it any longer. I really want to love this pair, but I had to return them.

I have 3 pairs of 50/50. This boots are not manufactured in Spain in my opinion. The elastic is more rigid.

Everyone says the 5050s run large and don't order up. I am a normal 7.5 but could NOT fit my foot through the ankle area of the boot. I order up to 8. Maybe my arch is high or my ankle doesn't bend enough?? Had to return 7.5.

The item is great. However I found it disappointing the box they were shipped in was not a SW box, a small unmarked box with no tissue or boot fillers. The boots were actually rolled up inside! My last 3 pairs all came in a large SW manufacturer box with lots of tissue and boot fillers so they do not loose their shape while being stored. I collect expensive shoes and occasionally resell expensive item like these. Without the original manufacturer box the resale value goes down. I’m assuming it’s to save money on the shipping. I would have paid extra shipping to have the genuine box.

This boot was unfortunately way too high- mid thigh. I love the style so I am disappointed.

Beautiful boots. Love the fit and style. Sadly, Zappos shipped them without the original box, so I had to return them. Selling designer boots at this price, without the original box is unacceptable.
