In less than 24 hours from the time I ordered this coat, it was at my front door! Wow! That is service like I have never experienced before. Makes me wonder why other companies don't learn from Zappos! I am now a fan! I already had this coat in black and when I saw the price and free shipping on Zappos, I had to order another one. I live in Pennsylvania so the winters can be cold. I always seemed to be cold and could never stand going outside in the cold -- that is, until I got this coat. It is the best & warmest coat I have ever owned. I love this coat.

This jacket is so hot it fit great I got an xl I wear a 14 in pants an a dd an it fit wonderful I order yesterday night an got it today I love Zappos. I order everything from here I will never find a better web site thanks. :)

My wife absolutely loves the coat. She says it's the warmest coat she has ever owned. As for me, I was extremely impressed with the competitive prices and the exceptional customer service from Zappos. I will definitely shop at Zappos again.

Fabulous! Very warm. I moved from Texas to Oslo, Norway and this southerner is nice and toasty! My only complaints are the zipper can be tricky and the fur trim isn't as cute as other jackets. Otherwise, worth the price!

This jacket is perfect. After searching and searching for a long down waterproof jacket I decided on this one. I am so so happy with it. The outside is durable while the inside is soft and fluffy. Definitely keeps me very warm and is stylish (much better than the huge puffy ones). Job well done North Face!

Absolutely love this coat! It was exactly what I was looking for and it beautiful! I'm 5'6 and ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. Zappos has the absolute fasted and best shipping too! I ordered on a Thursday night and by noon Friday I had received it with free shipping! Love Zappos!

Love it! It was still warm here in Chicago when I got my coat. I've only been wearing it for 2 weeks now. I get numerous compliments especially on the color. It was 29 degrees but I was very warm. Great coat at great price. Fit true to size.

This is high quality, but too tight and constraining in the upper torso area. That is not a problem Anne normally has, especially with a medium which I ordered after reading other reviews.

Love this coat! Unfortunately I have to return it because it is too small! North Face runs small always go a size maybe even 2 up! Because of the coat's popularity it is out of stock in the size I need! I am very sad!

Love this coat! I wear a 4-6 in street clothes and the small fits perfectly. It's super warm, but also slim fitting and not ridiculously bulky. Best part, I ordered it at 5pm and zappos had it to me by 11am the next morning, with free shipping! Awesome!

The quality of the coat is good. I have broad shoulders and usually wear a L-XL depending on style. I had to order an XXL to have enought room. As much as I like the coat, I am returning it because the waist down is way too big and unattractive. I also don't like how the hood fits. The description says the fur and hood are detachable. Only the fur is.

I love this jacket. I was nervous about what size to get because I like my winter jackets larger so I can wear things underneath. I ordered the medium and I was swimming in it, so I had to return it and order the small. The small fits perfectly even with sweaters and such underneath. I am 5'4" and weigh 127 pounds. In the North Face fleece I am a size medium - if you have that to compare. It keeps me so warm and it is long enough to keep some of my legs warm too. I definitely recommend getting this jacket. It is worth it!

This coat is great! I think I'll finally be warm this winter. I originally ordered a size Medium based on other reviews but after receiving it, it was way too huge. I ordered a Small instead and it fits so much better. An XS might even be better as I still have plenty of room to layer and its quite loose. I'm 5'3" 120. I'm not sure why other reviewers think this coat runs so big. I'm really happy with the fig green color, and Zappos has the cheapest price I could find anywhere. The only part about the coat that I'm not crazy about is the hood. I don't like the fur and when you take it off the hood seems too small. Otherwise it feels like you're wearing a toasty sleeping bag without looking crazy bulky. I'm really happy I bought this!

Great coat. Not so long that it looks over-the-top but long enough to keep me warm in really cold winds of North Dakota.

As the temperature dropped this week, I got a chance to climb into this cosy warm and stylish coat. It runs small - I usually wear a size 0 or 2, but the small is what I got, and it is snug (partly because of the elastic at the back, which pulls it closer to the body). I hope I don't gain much weight this winter! This coat is superior to anything at local department stores - especially the oversized "hand grenade" winter coats. This one is a winner.

Just purchased this coat yesterday and it arrived at my door by noon today! So great job on shipping Zappos! Also I love the coat. I ordered both a small and a medium but plan to return one of them. I am usually a size small but I am going with the size medium coat. I felt the bigger coat was a snuggly fit while the size small made me feel like a sausage. My daughter has the same coat for walking in the snow to class at college (in Michigan) She says it's the best coat she's ever had! I borrowed it once for a winter football game and loved it! I definitely recommend this coat.

I read the reviews before I made my purchase for plus size coat (2X)(I would have ordered a 1X before I read the reviews) that was 7/8 in length and not puffy. I received this coat and tried it on. It felt great size was on point, the my arms had room the length was just right,just what I was looking for thank you all that took the time to post a review it helped a lot. By the way thank you, North Face and Zappos for carrying Plus sizes.

I got my coat the next business day and could not wait to wear it to work, I'm in New Jersey and its been 25-35 degree weather and when I put it on it was warmer than my Calvin Klein goose down. I have been watching this coat for a while now and when the price went from way down I had to purchase it. I would have given this coat a 5 stars but the only drawback is I originally want the bittersweet (brown) coat it was sold out so since I thought this price was temporary I got it ASAP and had to order the vintage white. I am so mad because the very first day I wore it you know...it got dirty. Ummmm, how do you clean it?

Absolutely love this coat. Perfect for the Boston winter. Wasn't cold once even in the recent blizzard! As others said, the pockets are perfect. Didn't have an issue with the shoulders at all.

I spent a lot of time (months) looking for a new winter jacket. I have a really warm snowboarding jacket, but my main agenda was finding a jacket long enough to cover my butt when I sit down on cold surfaces outside in the winter. Not sure whether to order a small or medium, I read a lot of reviews and decided with the medium. I'm 5'6", 128 lbs and wear a small, sometimes medium, in shirts, fleeces and other jackets. The medium fits me wonderfully. I can wear it over a fleece or thick sweater and it fits just right - not tight and not baggy and still shows the tailored shape through the torso. A few features I really like about the jacket are 1) that it's waterproof on the outside but is still a soft/warm down jacket, 2) the deep outside pockets and 3) the sleeve cuffs are a thick, really soft material and have a snug, wind-blocking fit around the wrist. I wasn't sure I'd like the faux fur on the hood, but it actually looks good. And the hood is super warm - warm enough that I don't have to wear a winter hat under it. The green is pretty dark, but it's a good color to be able to wear with any color pants, tights, boots, etc. This jacket has been keeping me warm in the single digit temperatures. It's so comfy I kind of want to snuggle up and take a nap in it! My one complaint is that I wish it was maybe three inches longer to cover a bit more of the back of my legs when I sit down. Other than that, I'm happy I made the investment.

I needed a serious cold-weather dog walking coat - this does the job. It's bulky and not very female-friendly (shaped like a tube, tight at hips) but I'm more likely to be warm than cold in it. No fashion points, but warm, long but not so long it's hard to walk, and sturdy fabric that has stood up well to muddy paws so far.

I just got this coat, and I love it. It is not the same Michelin Man puff jacket that everyone seems to have on this year. It is not the most stylish jacket, but also not bad looking. It gives you some waist and the fur hood is cute. The down is nicely distributed not chunky like some coats. The sleeves have nice little hand protectors which work perfectly with my North Face gloves. The pockets are also in the sweet spot for me and are large enough to accomodate all the accessories that I need for walking my dogs in the winter. I already knew I took a medium from previous North Face attire. The shoulders are not that snug, and I probably would not have taken much notice if not for other reviewers.

Perfect Parka for cold weather. If you're the type of person who's lazy to wear layered clothes, then this is the perfect one for you. I really like it. The only negative thing I can say is it's a little bulky.
