This is the warmest coat I've ever had and yet it's still light weight. Love the Weimaraner brown color. It's a great neutral. Two way zipper is easy to work. Extra length and cuffed sleeves help keep out the cold winds. Will say its a little snug through the waist, but that's because I've put on some extra pounds. Overall a very well made coat which I think will be a good investment.

I love this jacket. I am so glad that I was able to find it in my size 2XL. For reference I am apple shaped, size 14 pants and XL on top. I had tried the XL in the store and it was too tight (it would not zip around the midsection) but 2XL was perfect! I got the it in black. I am very happy to find that the logo letters were also black so its not as obvious. It is very flattering, and almost seems that I have an hourglass shape. Finally a down waterproof coat! I tried the Marmot Chelsea coat but it is not made for my body shape plus the fabric attracted lint. The north face metro was not waterproof and was quite thin and shapeless. This one is love and surprisingly light.

I love this coat. I first ordered a small and it was a little tight in the chest area. I am a small person - not heavy but big chest so I had to get a medium which was more comfortable. I usually never spend this much on a coat but you get what you pay for. It was worth it. And Zappos is great to order from - free shipping and free return ship no problems. I will always shop here.

Well, I have never needed a warm coat until this year. This coat is absolutely awesome. Plus it's a 2 way zipper so in and out of the car is no problem. Zappos, you have exceeded my expectations once again. Sizing is accurate and I'm sure this coat will live longer than me! Thanks very much!

This is amazing jacket. Super warm and great style. Perfect for my Vail, Co trip. You know, I ordered two styles before this and had to return them because they were not a god, warm parka jacket. Also, this jacket is covered with the special cover so it can't get wet. I ordered small because they didn't have medium size and I like the fit.

Love my North Face Arctic Parka. It is everything I wanted. I live in Montreal Canada and it was -40C last week...and I was not cold with my Parka. Once you have it on, it creates like a cocoon effect, the heat from your body just gets trapped inside and keeps you warm. As for Zappos. I have never experienced this level of customer service from anyone. I ordered the coat on Dec 26 in the evening and had the coat at my door the next afternoon. Then...I had ordered the XL and it was too big, so they sent me a L to try on and decide which one fit me best (without charging me for the 2nd coat yet). I had 14 days to return it (no shipping charges) all I had to do was print the return label they sent me and ship it back. I was truly inspired and highly recommend dealing with Zappos.com I wish everyone had such great customer service. Thank you - Merci beaucoup!

Great coat. I know it's late in season to be buying this but I put my arm into my other jacket and I heard a tear, so, rather than wait until the entire sleeve pulled out, I found this North Face longer coat. I'm 5'4" and overweight with a chest of 43, a waist of 42 and a belly which is my fat thing of 45. I ordered the Extra Large. Yes, I'm finally on a diet. Only place it's snug is the middle snap at the belly but it closes and it is slimming. Just walked the dog, it's snowing and I guess just 32 out and I was perfectly warm with just a long sleeved shirt underneath. Even the white color does not make me look fatter than I am so I highly recommend this coat/parka.

This is perfect! I have a bit of a ways to walk at 5am. Temp has been in the 20's. This coat has kept me very warm.

Wonderful parka. Bought it for my daughter who is 20 & is at college. She loves it & it keeps her warm. I liked the gathering in the waist in the back. It keeps the jacket from looking shapeless. Read the reviews, went to a local store and tried the parka on, then came home and ordered from Zappos. Heading to Quebec City Winterfest, this coat will be perfect for outdoor fun. Can't wait for it to arrive tomorrow.

Love this coat! Nice and warm for a trip we took to NYC in January. My husband was cold in 3 layers and his peacoat, but I was nice and toasty the entire trip. I first ordered the large, but it was too big so I got the medium. I am 5'9" and 150 lbs. Only trouble is that the zipper sometimes got stuck on the lining. Would definitely recommend this coat to anyone who wants to look good and stay warm.

The first thing I have to say is I LOVE ZAPPOS!! I also love this coat. It keeps me so warm, the best I have ever had. I read the reviews and took their advice and ordered a size larger and it was still to small. I am 5'4" and 126 lbs, I normally wear a small, but the med in this coat didn't fit. I called Zappos and got the most amazing customer service advisor, he immediatly shipped a larger size and emailed me returned shipping label. I received the new coat the next day, shipped the other one back, all free shipping. Like I said AMAZING, I have never encountered such excellent customer service. I am a true Zappos fan.

This is a great coat. The length is great, especially when sitting on a cold, metal bleacher seat for a couple of hours at a stretch during my kid's hockey games. The elastic at the back gives it a little shape and style. I love the lack of Velcro, too. That helps keep it in much better condition. I have a North Face jacket that is fantastic, but the sleeves are all shredded from the Velcro. This is a great option, and you can dress it up or down.

Parka is wonderful. Very warm, wonderful length, hood is also warm. Easy to zip up and down the parka.

This is the warmest coat I have ever owned, plus the fit is rather flattering. I live in Chicago and though the weather has been pretty mild, we finally had a typical winter week where we hit below 0 and had bitter winds and I have been very snug and warm in this coat. Love! Love! Love!

I love this coat. It has been a cold winter in Michigan and with my new coat and am very warm. It is not too puffy and I think the outer shell camouflages the quilting very nicely. I would highly recommend the coat.

I read many reviews of this coat before purchasing it. I ordered a small with concern that it might be too small - particularly as I am a 34D. I have found that it fits perfectly. I gave it 4 stars on style for only one reason - the arms are a little puffy. Being short, I tend to be more conscious of things that might make me appear out of proportion, and so while not abnormal, I just wish they were a little thinner. If you are truly a small and like things fitted (not tight, just fitted), then the small should be perfect. I also found absolutely no pulling or tightness in the shoulder/arm region. It's quite comfortable all over. Oh, and wonderfully warm! So I'm tired of the thin flimsy dress coats that they are making these days. This is like a tailored down comforter and it's amazing! I wore it yesterday over just a jersey dress in this cold New York snow and was toasty.

I bought this coat because I have a new puppy and must walk her twice a day. A short jacket wouldn't work to keep me warm especially around my legs. This coat fits the bill and is all it says it is. I'm so glad I made the purchase. It fits true to size and I love the color. I don't feel like a marshmallow as it is very stylish. Of course Zappos service is outstanding.

This is one of the best coats that I have ever had! I love it so much, the fig color is beautiful. It is a sexy parka! I never thought that I could say that about a parka but it is true!

Bought the coat in a 2x for plenty of room, normally wear an xl. Wore it in Toronto, snow, temps between 19-30 degrees. Snug as a bug...I live in a beach town in California so I knew nothing about "warm" coats. Read your reviews and chose this coat. It worked out very well for me. I recommend it for others looking for a warm coat that also has a stylish look to it. The hood was great also.

In love with this north face coat! So amazing and warm! The length is great too! Covers my behind from the chilly winter winds! Size is good too! I got a large, so I could wear sweaters under!

We bought this coat for my Mother since she cares for our infant daughter and is outside often walking in the cold with her. She absolutely loves it. Not only is it very cute, but it's warm too, she says!
