Too stiff, bulky. Jacket fit fine without the fleece, couldn't zip it with the fleece. Picked up a lot of lint. Zipper was a pain. Very sharp looking, though, if you sacrifice comfort.

This is a super nice jacket, but I bought this for my wife for Christmas and had to return it because it was too small. My wife is 5'11" and about 127 lbs and typically wears size 4 so I bought a medium. I returned it for a large and it was still too small. My wife complained that the underarms and shoulders were too tight and it was short in the length. I think North Face might have a size problem with this jacket. Overall the quality and style were excellent but we ended up getting a different jacket. If you are a short, petite person this jacket will probably work for you.

Fits nicely, not boxy, and very fitted. Remember that when you choose your size. Inner jacket is warm and furry feeling. It zips out for a warmer day. Outer jacket is nice as wind/rain coat. Overall a great multi purpose coat.

This is a great jacket, I highly recommend! Love that it has the zip out fleece, so you can customize it for the weather. I ordered a size up which makes it cuter and more comfortable.

The under jacket is not form-fitting, so it looks a little funny on me if I wear it alone. Otherwise, the jacket is wonderful and has kept me warm through freezing temperatures all winter!

Very disappointing with the North Face sizing. I have another product in Lg, but this wasn't close to a Lg. I don't feel I am oversize, but with this jacket you have to order at least one or two sizes bigger if you want to wear a sweater under the coat. It also was not a quiet coat, made a lot of noise, the waterproof material needs broken in or something. Thanks Zappos for great service, but thumbs down to NF for sizing!

Electrifying blue! I love it on my daughter. I just wish they made my size. It's an awesome fit around the chest, but she is rather large up top. Waist area is comfortably fit loose. The arms are rather loose. I purchased a large for her thinking it would fit just right, and it did.

This jacket is comfy, warm and looks good. The only negative is the inner jacket, which is cozy but is furry rather than fleecy. Don't think I would wear it alone. Also difficult to get arms into if you are wearing anything the slightest bit bulky or textured. Overall though, love this jacket.

This is a sharp jacket. It is very flattering. I gave it to my daughter for Christmas and she loves it...especially since it is so versatile!

The jacket is warm and comfortable. I got the white with green. The picture shows a grey green but the jacket is true green. Otherwise it is very stylish.

I ordered this jacket at 6:30 pm one day. It was to be one day shipping free. I just figured that with it being so late when ordered, I would not get it until the 2nd day. It arrived at 3:00 the next day. The jacket it amazing also.

I ordered this jacket for my daughter, and as far as I know, she is very happy with it. She especially likes the 3-in-1 jacket style, so that she can layer as needed. It is a very attractive style; very figure flattering. I think she will get many years of wear from it.

Yes I love the coat. I was looking for it everywhere and everyone was out of stock. Got on Zappos can got it the next day, it was wonderful. It is very warm. I hope to use it for sking.

I had been looking for a good jacket for a while before I decided on this one. I received it yesterday and fell in love with it as soon as I tried it on! It's very warm, has a great fit, and I love the fact that I can wear the removable inner jacket by itself if I choose. It really is a great buy since it's like getting two for one. I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

This was a little more jacket than I was looking into for the fall. I wanted something a little warmer than a rain jacket, wind and water resistant, but not too bulky. The Apex Bionic jacket was more the speed I was looking for right now. This would be a great and very cozy jacket for wet and snowy winters, though. Thanks to Zappos' super speedy shipping and exchange policy, I was able to quickly get my hands on what I wanted. Seriously, I love Zappos!

I LOVE this jacket. It's stylish and warm. You can also remove the inner lining and wear it separately if you want to so it's like getting 2 jackets in one.

I like this jacket very much. However, the center zipper keeps getting stuck. For the price of this jacket, I would have expected a better quality zipper.

I bought this jacket (bittersweet brown) for my girlfriend. She usually wears small, but this jacket runs a little tight, so we got her a medium. It's a nice jacket. The fleece on the inside is warm and soft, and can be worn by itself. The construction of the jacket seems a little cheap though, even though the jacket is expensive. The zipper is a pain to move up and down, but that's just how things are made nowadays. Overall, if you want a nice jacket and it has to say North Face on it, this is a good one to get.

This jacket is warm and stylish, however, the zipper frequently gets stuck (right now my zipper won't even come undone so I've had to pull it over my head), the inside jacket's sleeves always come a few inches past the outer jacket even when they are attached to the button, the fleece inner jacket always sheds onto my clothing, the arms are tight and hard to move around in, despite the rest of the jacket fitting my body (size medium for average/slim sized 21 year old female). This jacket makes a lot of crunching sounds whenever you move around. If you want a flexible jacket, this is not the jacket for you. I have also tried on this exact jacket at dick's sporting goods and found that they all have zipper problems. For this amount of dollars, it's not worth it.

Ordered a medium for a slim 20 year old. Coat fits very tight. Due to fleece layer, there's no room your arms. Zipper seems a bit skimpy for such a heavy duty jacket.

What a disappointment. Tried this in a larger size, hoping I could wear it through my winter pregnancy. I've got an older North Face jacket (2005) that I love; very high quality. This one seemed the closest current model. But the fabric seems cheap; very stiff and not durable. Rubber Velcro cuff closures are awkward. Lining, though it seems warm, is just soft. Fit was slimmer than I expected, but it's not why it's going back. Thank God for prompt Zappos returns. It's making a very disappointing purchase not seem like such a hassle.
