I ordered this jacket in black and white. I had the shedding problem with the inner jacket - the black fuzzies got everywhere. The inside jacket is the Osito jacket, which I found was very soft but not warm enough on its own for 30-degree temperatures. The fitting/sizing of TNF jackets has also changed. I used to be able to wear a small and still have some room (and I have stayed the same weight for the past few years), yet I knew I had to order a medium. I am 5'4" and wear a dress size 4-6, and the medium fit me well, but I would not be able to manage a bulky sweater underneath. The armpit area is also a bit tight. I also had issues with the zipper. I returned this jacket and bought the TNF Condor Triclimate Jacket instead, which has a better inner jacket, fits more nicely, isn't as stiff, and just overall is a better jacket. Fabulous service from Zappos, as always!

I really wanted to love this jacket. I wanted a TNF tri-climate jacket with a fleece-y interior. I had to return it because the pit zips are bulky and they make the armpit area tight and uncomfortable. I could feel the stiff zippers when my arms were down and could tell that wearing the jacket for an extended amount of time would be uncomfortable. Otherwise the jacket would have been perfect and the inner fleece is so soft and cozy and with the fleece removed it's a nice rain jacket.

The jacket is very good, but the sweater underneath...well, I was hoping for something better. I can't wear the sweater at all because whenever I do, my shirt ends up being covered in green balls of material that's coming off the sweater. You should really try fixing that problem.

I did not like this jacket at all. It did not keep me warm from these cold Chicago winters. Every time I would put my arm into the sleeve the inside jacket would come out of the bottom of the sleeve and every time I pulled my arm out of the jacket, the inside jacket came unsnapped and came out.

The outer shell is wonderful at keeping rain and wind out. They are comfortable and true to size. My low star rating is the inner shell. It is a soft minky jacket. It sheds horribly! I had taken off the tags when I realized. I have washed and dried it as directed five times. Each time having to empty the lint trap. Then it got these tiny fuzz balls all over inside and out. So I took a comb and combed them out. It still sheds. It does not matter then color or fabric, it will shed. It even rubbed all over my seat belt. I do not recommend because of this. For this price you would think the liner would not shed like a plush towel. So I spent all the money on a light rain jacket. Do not make my mistake!

I love Zappos. It is easy to return this item that really is about a 16, rather than a 2XL (18/20). Boy am I tired of sporting good stores and companies like North Face determining that an average size is now an 8.
