These shoes are great, I run about 30 miles a week in them and they have held up wonderfully. Great shoe for the price, I was running in some more expensive Nikes before this and the cushion was nothing compared to these, not to mention they breathe well, but also have a firm structure. I had the Gel-Kahana 3's before this and will get another pair of the 4's (or 5's) when these wear out. Prompt sipping by Zappos as always!

For wide feet this is an excellent shoe. One of the few I have found that my feet feel like they have room without feeling like too much.

Shoes seem to be decent quality for the price. They are comfortable as well as soft and springy on hard surfaces. I have only worn them for one day so who knows about anything else. The amazing part was the Zappos service and shipping. Ordered over the phone...good service and very helpful but, when she said I should receive them tomorrow I thought "yeah, right." Standard Zappos free shipping...they were on my doorstep in 24 hours from order. I am impressed.

Excellent shoe. Felt a little tight at first, but feel great after about 5 times worn. Love the gel sole. Have very wide feet and difficulty finding shoes wide enough. The toe area is wide enough, but still fits at the heel. Many shoes make the heel area so wide that my foot slips up and down and causes blisters. Not so with this shoe.

Comfortable and light, breaths well and has great support.

I have a wide foot with a high instep and arch, these shoes are awesome. I returned some New Balances that just didn't fit my instep and replaced them with these. If you have a tough to fit wide foot, these are excellent

Great looking shoes, and also it's comfortable. Plus they have size 15 (all thumbs up!).

I am a trail runner, 5 to 10 miles. I have a high arch and short toes, so I need a square toe box and good support. Having given up on New Balance after 20 years as a loyal customer, I tried the ASICS. These shoes fit the bill nicely. However, they are deadly on any smooth wet surface. I actually started sliding while standing still on a wet linoleum floor and slipped on a wet steel grate on the sidewalk, so great on trails, avoid anywhere there are smooth surfaces.

Best sneakers I've ever owned. I've been working for FedEx for 19 years and finally found a shoe that can keep up with me and still feel comfortable!

Excellent shoe for those with corrective arch supports (orthotics). Amazing lateral support and cushioning in the heel. Heel post is manufactured at just the right angle for those who over pronate. This is my fifth pair and third generation of the Gel-Kahana. I have tried other Asics running shoes at much more money, but nothing is as good as this model for trail and track running or hiking.

Best trail shoe I have ever owned. Great for the trail and stylish enough to wear casually. The best 4E width shoe for anyone who runs off road.

A local athletic shoe outlet did not carry the Gel-Kahana, suggesting that it was not up to the quality of what they stocked, but would attempt to order it, if I insisted. Since I had a 3-year old pair of Kahanas that I loved, I placed my order. After three weeks, no response from them and total disinterest when I called to check on the order. I then looked online, Googling Asics and Zappos came up. I easily found the shoe I wanted, in the color and size I wanted, (plus they were on sale)ordered them and had the shoes within 2 days. I was so pleased with the shoes, Zappos and their service, I ordered a second pair, different color, receiving them the next day. I wore the newer shoes, (black, gray and orange)today to the elementary school where I volunteer as a reading tutor. The kids immediately noticed my shoes, pronouncing them cool and awesome. Thanks Zappos for great customer service, good pricing, and helping a 66-year old maintain his cool factor.

This is an awesome shoe. It\'s so comfortable and stylish. It\'s great for walking and running.

Finding a trail runner in 4E width is difficult, but this Asic fits great. It has great lugs underneath that give it exceptional grip, but is not so rigid that it isn\'t comfortable. I\'ve also worn the Nike Alvaro and like that as well, but I would give the edge to this for comfort.

My son loves this shoe...great fit, style and support for his foot. He's a courier so he is on his feet all day long. I buy all his shoes from Zappos. They are the easiest most pleasant on-line company I have ever dealt with. Thanks Zappos...don't ever change.

Have ordered the same shore for years, updating with each new version. They receive heavy pounding daily, wear well. The only shoe I can wear all day when brand new.

I'm a big guy and on my feet all day. These are nice cushy comfort. If the Zappos management reads this, major kudos and thanks to Janine, who was personable, professional, and thorough in finding these (and her smile came through loud and clear on the phone!). The only fault that some might find with these is the aggressive tread as a walking shoe.

Great shoe. Very comfortable and supportive. This is my second pair of Gel-Kahana\'s and I\'m not planning on switching anytime soon. Highly recommend.

Didn't fit. Shoe was definitely small. At least a half size, maybe a full size.

Have been wearing these at work. I do a lot of walking/hiking on various terrain and also ride a mountain bike pretty regularly. These shoes seem very rugged and well built. It took me a while to get used to the gel in the heel but now I really appreciate it. Hopefully they hold up as well as my North Face Hedgehogs did. If not, I'll edit this review.

My pair only lasted 4 months before the inside started to wear away and rub my ankle. I guess I run A LOT more than most people (5-8 miles a day). They've been comfortable shoes and they have great grip. I'm going to move onto something more expensive that lasts longer. I would recommend these to somebody who only runs a few times a week though.

Feels a little small compared to my other Asics of the same size, but very comfortable. Good quality for the price.

Very comfortable shoe. There was almost no break in time. My only concern is that I am a pronator and there are better Asics shoes for this.

Lightweight, comfortable, great looking shoe. I like the tread and the quick lace.

My husband loved these shoes right out of the box! He said they were a bit stiff at first but not uncomfortable. He loves how they feel and that they are light weight.
