Surprised in a good way. Sportier than they look online. A little tight so order up a size maybe but great value comfy from first wear.

It is great looking shoe and comfortable to wear. But it is far from a good running shoe because lack of cushion in the front part of the shoes. I still like the style and use it for my gym workout. I was very happy for the great service of Zappos and I just bought another shoe from them! Thanks Zappos!

I was somewhat concerned about the durability of these sneakers based on other reviews, and broke them in slowly. I am happy to report that with moderate usage (3-4 times per week), and some more rugged walking (Great Wall in China) they are still holding up very well. Good comfort, more so than the Nikes I was accustomed to before. Do feel a little bit "tall"; but otherwise a good shoe.

Very comfortable shoes with good support. This is my second pair bought from Zappos. Great bang for the buck.

I was looking for a pair of shoes that I could run in without my feet and knees hurting afterwords. These shoes are comfortable, not too heavy and leave me without joint pain from running. A great pair of shoes if worry about pain has been stopping you from being active.

These shoe's are awesome this is my second pair. I highly recommend these shoes!

Just got 'em in the mail today and they look just as good as they did on the pooter and feel just as good as they look. They even make me look and feel better. They are going to last me a long time.

I ordered these for my husband, who just started running. He is very pleased with him. He originally bought a pair of Brooks, but had to stop during the first mile because his knee was hurting. He's had 2 surgeries on his knee for ligament repair but it doesn't bother him at all running in these shoes. He will stick with Asics for sure!

I am a bigger man and the shoes are holding up good and they are very comfortable.

I would lean more towards these shoes being true to size, at least within the Asics brand. I typically wear my running shoes, which are also Asics (I bought these just to wear with jeans and a T), 1/2 size too small (10.5) and I ordered an an 11 for these and they fit perfectly. As usual, Zappos bumped to overnight delivery at no cost and I had these in hand in less than 24 hours! I also only wear Asics running shoes and the sizing is consistent year after year, so I can order online without worrying about having to return them, even though the Zappos return policy rocks! Nice to know it's there just in case.

I do not use this shoe for running but I absolutely love to wear them for everyday use. They feel great and look great. I would recommend these shoes and would probably purchase another pair. Great shoe!

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend, and he loves them. They look stylish and casual with jeans - not too obnoxious, like other tennis shoes.

I just got the yesterday, and I tried them on and they are too short. I thought that was strange since Asics usually fit true to size for me. I will return them and get them a 1/2 size larger. I have narrow feet and their width is fine. The shoe feels good overall.

Nice style and good comfort for everyday use. Keep in mind that I don't use it to run as I like a simple close to the ground sneaker.

I love Zappos. I'll probably never shop for shoes anywhere else again. The other reviews about these shoes fitting a half size smaller were right. I got a 12 and they fit like 11.5. Love them though, comfortable, light, walk really well.

My grandson wanted these for Christmas and he had to have them in a size 14. Not easy huh? Well after so many well known web sites I went to Zappos and not only could I get a size 14 but they were $10 cheaper than at other sites. Not only that, there was no shipping charge and he got them the next day. Wow were we ever impressed. Thank you Zappos for your expedience.

I use these to cross train. I have used ASICS running shoes to cross train for many years, but the individual pieces of sole would come loose. This is a two piece sole. Much more longevity. And, firm which I like.

Great shoe, not only comfortable but looks great - unique styling. I have to step up a half size on running shoes and they fit perfect.

These shoes are fantastic, great support, comfortable gel cushion and superior design. I don't wear my other running shoes now, just the Gel-Frantic 5's.

Although I was initially impressed with the way these shoes feel, after only a month, the sole had worn down under the heel so badly that the gel cushioning was exposed on the bottom. A friend recommended Asics to me, but now that I know that the shoes are not that durable, it is unlikely that I will buy Asics again. I can\'t waste money on a shoe that will only last a month unless I am extremely gentle with it. I can still wear the shoes, but the gel is now punctured and continues to wear down as I wear them. If I tried running in them, there would be a risk of getting injured because the stability is gone.

This is a very comfortable shoe and a bit more aesthetically pleasing than other Asics selections. I have had this pair for about 6 weeks and I use them for running Crossfit WODs only (approximately 2 times per week) and occasionally around town, so they have not truly been tested long term for durability. However, they appear to be more rugged than my last pair of Puma Voltaics. Puma makes extremely comfortable and visually appealing footwear but they don't always last very long. Zappos has awesome service with no-hassle returns that are handled much faster than I expected!

I am a teacher and on my feet all day. I purchased a pair of the Gel Frantic 3 a few years back on a recommendation from our school\'s physical therapist. They were the best shoes that I\'ve ever had! I have high arches and used to wear orthotics, but the Gel Frantics are a comfortable fit without them. I\'ve had the Gel Frantic 5\'s for about a month now and they are every bit as great as the first pair I bought years ago!

Very nice shoe, true to size, removable insoles, unique style and color. Paying a premium here, but haven't seen these in stores plus you get Zappos convenience.
