I was very much a Nike fan, no one could change my mind, until I tried Asics. I've tried different styles of Asics, but this one is my favorite. They're snug around the arch and roomy around the toes, great stability all around. One other thing I found with these shoes, my foot wasn't soaked when it rained. I really love this shoe! I would recommend, and have, people to shop with Zappos!

Grudgingly I switched from Nikes to these. I have long narrow feet with long arches and sesamoid issues (as in, they are broken!). These are comfortable and provide a wonderful amount of cushion. You'll notice that you are in good company at races too. They are a popular choice, for a good reason! I run 3-4 days a week, 3-7 miles at a time (although I'm upping that now for a 1/2 marathon). I recently ran in an old pair of Nikes that had about 10-12 months of running in them and the difference was remarkable. Those felt so flat and unsupportive. Aside from dirt and some self inflicted scratches to the sole, these have held up well. I'll get another pair once the marathon gets closer as a reward.

We really found the Asics Gel-Nimbus 12 to be perfect. Actually we ordered two pairs and both were awesome. Thanks to Zappos and being a VIP customer, we had the sneakers in a day.

Great shoe and fit. I have worn Asics Gel-Nimbus for years. A few times have switched to Brooks Hurricaine, but I am back to my old favorite. From the moment I put it on, it felt great. No breaking in period. I use these shoes for running and walking. No blisters, black toes, arch problems, or heel issues.

This is a super soft extremely comfortable and cute shoe. I run on merciless concrete paths/sidewalks and I can feel the foot protection.

Great shoe! It arrived the next day (I love Zappos!) and fits like a glove. Sadly, they don't make me run faster, but I like the way they look and they're super comfy. Recommended to all.

This is the most comfortable walking shoe. I love it. And ordering through Zappos is so easy and convenient. They make shopping simple!

Great arch support. I normally have to wear expensive leather inserts (that squeak - annoying!). You cannot go wrong with Asics. I've been wearing them for more than 10 years.

This shoe is for overpronators. This means that the outside of the soles of your shoes by the heel wear out first. It is heavily skewed this way, which was perfect for me. Also, you should always order a half size up with Asics - pretty much across the board. Also, many Asics styles, like this one, come in narrow which is what I needed.

I run about 15 to 20 miles a week, nothing major, but I do a lot of trial running and I have extremely high arches and tend to underpronate when I run. So I needed a shoe that would help correct this and help support my arch. I found these Asics Gel-Nimbus, were amazing right off the bat. I took them for a 6 mile run, straight out of the box, no blisters and my feet felt great. The only down side to these shoes is the heel is a little loose which is not always ideal for trail running, but they are not a trail specific shoe so I can't really complain. I recommend these for anyone looking for a street to low intensity trail running. I love these shoes.

Simply put, I love these shoes. I now have 3 pairs of the Gel Nimbus 12s. I am participating in the Susan G Komen 3-Day for the cure (5th time) which is 60 miles in 3 days and I train for 24 weeks. I wear these shoes for training and for work. I am a pharmacist an almost never get to sit down. As I said before, I love these shoes! Before I wore the Gel Nimbus 11's. I find these just a comfortable. I buy them 1 & 1/2 sizes larger than what I wear in regular shoes due to feet swelling during long distance walking.

These shoes are so comfortable. They have great cushion and support. I always get Asics for running but got these for work, eight hours a day on my feet these are great. I usually get woman's 11 but got 11.5 for these, I think an 11 would have been fine.

I love this shoe, and I'm looking forward to the next pair.

Love the shoes. I was diagnosed with severe arthritis. It was very hard for me to walk. A friend of mine recommended me these shoes. I just love them. I was a Nike person. Ever since I bought Asics I don't go back to Nike anymore. Great support.

Nice cushioning at heel, very comfortable! I have bad nerve damage in my foot and this shoe provides great support.

Extremely comfortable. Usually wear an 8.5 or 9, Got the 9 but probably could've worn the 8.5. Hoping these'll make me want to run!

I have owned many pairs of Asics. These are, by far, the best. Comfort and great arch support. Love them!

I am so glad I shopped around and read all of the reviews before deciding to buy these because they are awesome. I have kind of 'difficult' feet with a bunion on my left foot and was expecting these to irritate that but they didn't. In fact, aside from rubbing on the back of my heel (which was my fault because the socks I was wearing were too low), these shoes don't bother me at all which is unheard of. The gel cushioning is excellent and makes running feel like you're on pillows instead of pavement! And not only are they comfortable but they look pretty cool too and aren't bulky. Would definitely buy these again.

These are absolutely the best shoes I've ever worn! The arch is high, which is what I needed. Support and comfort are wonderful! And they look great, too!

Favorite shoe. Replaced GEL Kayano 16 with these and liked them much better. Had switched to a Brooks shoe; however, the toe box was too narrow and gave me horrible blisters when it got hot, so back to Asics I went.

Because I have lower back issues, I have researched shoes that are best for that condition. Asics Gel Nimbus provides great stability as well as cushioning just like Asics says. I am a regular runner, and this is my fifth pair. After trying a number of different shoes and brands, I found these to be the best overall shoe and I will buy them again.

This is the first time that I have tried Asics and am very happy with them. Although I don't think any walking/running shoe is very attractive, this one is quite nice - have had compliments on its style. I will definitely buy other Asics. I cannot say enough about how much I love Zappos - always efficient, professional, and fun. Zappos is the first place I go when I'm looking for shoes. Thank you!

I love these shoes! They fit perfectly. I use them for walking and they are easy on my back and knees.

Nimbus is an appropriate moniker for these shoes. They feel like you are walking on a cloud from the moment they are put on. No complaints for these shoes even after brutal 12 and 13 hour shifts. I recieved numerous compliments on the style and color which was a bonus. Asics are the best!
