It's hard finding narrow shoes, so when a pair actually fits I feel like Cinderella! I wear an 8AA, and ordered these a half size larger (8.5AA). The arch support is good, but not as good as my old Gel Kayano Asics. I use these for walking and the occasional run.

I ordered these shoes after my podiatrist diagnosed my foot pain as plantar fasciitis and a plantar tear. They have excellent arch support and stabilize very well. Took a few weeks to break in. Run true to size. Off-center lacing rubs my bunion a bit, but it best walking shoe I've ever owned and believe it's helping my foot heal faster!

This shoe is amazing. I am an avid runner. The very first time I wore these shoees, it felt like I was walking on clouds. The cushioning is phenomenal. The only bad thing I have to say is that it took a little while for my foot to get used to the laces, after the first couple of times I ran, the top of my arch (on the top of my foot) was sore to the touch from the laces pressing on my foot. Your foot gets used to it after a few runs. I just ran a marathon in them a week ago and my feet felt great right up until the end!

I have plantar fasciitis and very high arches, and Asics are the only shoe I can wear. I love these Gel Nimbus shoes. I'm not a runner, but I walk daily on a gravel road and these shoes remain comfortable all day long. They are very nice-looking shoes, as well. Worth every penny. True to size, also.

Great shoes for running or walking. Super supportive, but not bulky.

This is my second pair of the Gel Nimbus 12's. I take and teach group fitness classes and these are perfect for stability, jumping and running.

These are the best shoes! The support is great and the gel is so comforting. I actually use them to power walk. I walk 2-4 miles per day and I have bought these shoes for the past 2-3 years. I love them!

I have purchased various Asics over the years and these are the best. Recovering from Neuroma surgery on foot and these are the only shoes I can wear and not have foot pain. I can finally take my dogs for long walks. Plenty of room in shoe and full of cushion.

After trying on many athletic shoes for months, I came across this Asics Nimbus 12 and bought it because the salesman said it had the most cushion, which is what I needed for plantar fasciitis. He was right -- lots of cushion and very comfortable. This shoe has helped my feet tremendously!

My favorite sneaker to date! The gel cushioning is far superior to air cushioning. My knee trouble is greatly reduced, no problems from feet or ankles. Big improvement over other shoes I\'ve used! They\'re a keeper!

I love them. I always order my running shoes 1/2 larger than my regular shoes and that was the perfect fit for me. I am 5'6", 127 lbs. I like to run 5-7 miles and also do p-90X and insanity wearing these shoes. My legs feel great afterward. That is usually a problem for me; my feet always hurt, not with these shoes.

The fit is great true to size and very comfortable. These feel better than my Kayano 16's and I will buy again.

Love this shoe! It is stylish, comfortable, and durable. What else could you ask for? If I had the money right now I would purchase a second pair. This shoe is Perfection!

I have been ordering ASICS from Zappos for several years and have yet to be disappointed. I do order a half size larger but always do that with athletic shoes. I use these for working out at the gym, aerobic and total body strength and conditioning. They are supportive and flexible for what I need to do.

These are the best running shoes I have ever purchased. They fit much better in the forefoot than other Asics I have worn. You cannot go wrong with these!

I was very pleased to receive my shoes the day after I ordered them without paying shipping. I have been using them for about a month and they are great. They were true to size and are super comfortable when running!

The only thing better than this shoe is the Zappos service! I have several foot/ankle issues and this shoe works for me!

I've worn Asics sneakers almost exclusively for 5 or 6 years. I decided to order 4 different styles & planned to pick my favorite 2 to keep. Well, as soon as I tried on the Nimbus-12, I was sold. They were so much more comfortable than the others that I decided to exchange the other 3 styles for another pair of Nimbus-12. The asymmetric lacing looked odd at first, but when I do a 10K walk my feet swell. I have to loosen normal lacing to keep them from causing pain in the top of my foot. The asymmetrical lacing seems to solve that problem. (Can't speak to the arch support since I use an orthotic.)

Great shoe. Took a little while longer to break in than the previous version. Not sure why, but was fighting a blister, but the ride was smooth. If you have worn the Nimbus stick with them, otherwise if you are looking for a great ride on a neutral shoe, spend a few extra dollars and enjoy!

I had always been an Asics Kayano fan, but after purchasing the Kayano 16 and wearing them around the house for a few hours, I wasn't completely sold on the cushioning and comfort. They seemed very flat and thinly cushioned on the ball of the foot - right where I need the most support. I decided to trade them in for the Gel Nimbus 12. What a difference! It's like night and day as far as padding and comfort are concerned. They have the perfect balance of stability and cushion. I plan to use these on a vacation that will include a lot of walking. I am so glad I listened to my instincts and traded the Kayano in before I wore them outside! Now I love everything about my new shoes! I had to go up a half size for the proper fit.

Extremely comfortable, even after a 12 hour shift on my feet all day. True to size. Love Zappos service. Would buy again.

I bought these to replace a pair of Gel Nimbus shoes from 2005. I'm normally a size 7, but knew to buy a size 8 because that's what size my old ones are. Oh, and I originally got this model because I have supinated feet. The shoes are very comfy, as expected. I haven't exercised in them much at all though! The one thing that did throw me a bit was that the laces line up at an angle going toward the side of the shoe. I thought it was a defect at first, but then looked closely at the product pictures and I guess that's just how they're designed.

I purchased these as an upgrade to my current Asics running shoes. Due to having bad knees, I need to have a shoe with decent support and bounce. These are perfect. The off center lacing takes some getting use to but, once you break them in after a few good runs, they are ideal. I would highly recommend these shoes for any level of runner.
