I've worn Asics Gel-Nimbus for years. They seem to be just what my feet, legs and running "style" need. I tend to put lots of miles on them and replace them when they go on sale - so I usually get a couple of pairs late in Asics roll out. I like some colors better than others, but there haven't been any awful ones yet! I am fairly "old" for a runner and have zero joint problems, so I attribute a lot of my "success" on these shoes. These are excellent shoes for a person needing neutral cushioning. Unlike some reviews I only order the shoes 1/2 size larger than my regular street or dress shoes. When I tried a whole size larger my foot slid to the front and the inside of the heels wore out quickly. Until something changes I'll stick with the Nimbus!

This shoe has it all. Support and lots of cushion. They were on a list of shoes recommended by my foot doctor. I've had 2 pairs in 2 years. Then I decided to try another brand that were also on the list, Nike and Brooks. Sent them back. No other shoe compares to the Gel Nimbus for fit and the cushion I need for plantar fasciitis. I wear orthotics so I get a 1/2 size larger and they are perfect. This is my third pair and I'll never even bother trying another brand again because as far as I'm concerned this is the best shoe out there. Worth every penny. Make sure you tie them evenly snug from top to bottom (love the off center lacing too) and your foot won't slide around inside. They almost feel like moccasins if you know what I mean. These shoes just feel like a natural extension of my feet and we love to walk.

I have worn Asics running shoes for many years. This pair is heavier than any of the others. Occasionally, I will try a different brand (Saucony, Nike, etc.), but I always come back to Asics -- they are the best fit for my feet. I have very high arches, my toes turn up, moderately wide foot, and narrow heel. The laces on this shoe are off-center, and that feels much better on the top of my foot. I order a full size larger than I normally wear because I wear thick socks.

As always, love my Gel Nimbus. I'm running in them to train for the US Air Force Marathon, need I say more? Breathable, comfortable and attractive.

I wore the Nimbus versions 8-10 for distance running (including two marathons), but I recently switched to the Reebok Zigtechs (lighter but much less cushion). You can't beat the cushioning on the Numbus. Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size up (I previously wore an 11, but ordered an 11.5) and I'm so glad I did. They fit perfectly and I have received plenty of compliments on the color.

Theses shoes are very comfortable and I like the way they look. Good value for the price.

I love these shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and wear a 3/4 hard othotic. These shoes accommodate the orthotic nicely and the shoes are comfortable and stable. I buy a new pair every 6 months as I wear them around almost every day. No break in time. My foot doctor told me to buy this brand.

Awesome shoe. I ordered my exact size and they fit perfectly. No breaking in period at all. I highly recommend these shoes.

Very comfy shoes, Asics are my favorite brand as they accommodate those of us with gargantuan feet. The front laces are a little cock-eyed but still very cool.

An amazing shoe. So comfortable and cushy, feels more like a slipper! Lots of cushioning, so very supportive. Extremely cute, in the white/raspberry combo. Propels you right into action, making you want to stay on your feet and keep on moving. I had New Balance for the past four years and kept having stability, cushioning issues. I read a review about this shoe and followed it all the way to the check out basket. I have on foot that's 1/2 size smaller than the other, which is common. My longer foot is a size 5 1/2, but I ordered the 6's just in case it felt cramped in the 5 1/2. But thankfully it did not! This is great for me, as now my size 5 foot is not unstable in a size 6 shoe. This is a great choice. Thanks Zappos for the fast shipping and always hassle free service.

Great fitting running shoes and cushiony, good for my bad knee, last a long time (for running sneakers). They're the only ones I've been able to find that fit consistently well.

Love these shoes right out of the box. I never thought I would switch from my Mizuno Wave-Riders, but I read on-line reviews & ordered a pair. After 4-mile jog next day ordered 2nd pair.

I love this shoe - I wear a size 11 1/2 and my feet are relatively wide. This shoe fit me perfect. The toe box is wide, which is great for me.

Love these! I have been wearing this style shoe for about a year and I don't think I will ever run in anything else. The toe box feels a little more narrow than the previous Gel Nimbus 12s I've had but still a great shoe!

These are the best shoes I have ever had. They are so comfortable and fit your feet like a glove. I never want to take them off. No other shoe can ever compare. I love how they tie up on the side. Please don't stop making this shoe.

The laces are off centered, which seemed a little odd to me, but they feel fine when on.

These running shoes are amazing! I've been having trouble with my back so I thought a more cushioned shoe would help since I do a lot of walking. I hadn't worn Asics in years but wish I had tried them sooner. These are incredibly comfortable, really cute, and my back feels great. I ordered a selection of running shoes from Zappos, Adidas, Nike, etc -- these were by far the most comfortable. It laces up on a diagonal which, surprisingly, makes it really easy to put on.

I ordered a bunch of Asics, and found this one to have the best cushioning in heel and toe both. Perfect for Step, running, Bosu, Aerobics high impact. My old Gel Kayano 16's 10.5 started feeling too big, like they would fall off my foot when I kicked too high. But these do not. They may stretch over time.

Asics are the best shoe! I had foot trouble for years, until a foot doctor told me that I needed to get Asics shoes. Since doing that, I have not had any trouble with my feet. These shoes are very comfortable. I normally wear an 11, but needed an 11.5. Great for the serious walker!

I always wore Nike AirMax. First pair of Asics, fantastic. Lightweight, great arch support, feels great on top of foot way laces are styled, well cushioned heel.
